Value for money. I'll stay there again if I go back to the clay."

"Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff and convenient rooms. Nice outdoor pool and space for kids to play. There is a balcony with a beautiful view in the dining hall, we enjoyed our breakfasts there. Located not far from the village center."

Valeni Boutique Hotel & Spa

"Room was very clean, big and comfortable, the airco works beautifully and it’s very needed. Employees are nice and useful. The location is good, as long as you have a car because it is located at the entrance of the town and although is very close by the small center, there is no walking path, just the car road so you need a car to go any direction. It’s anyways the case of you traveled there but the center of the town is rather messy with the car. The breakfast is nice and complete but it is very weird that they do not offer any other coffee but filter coffee, if you want any combination of coffee with milk you need to order it and pay for it. The only milk available is cold milk so not event warm milk for mixing with the filter coffee, it is not a big deal but it is the first time I encountered such a thing."

"Just a one-night stay, but I was impressed by the courtesy and welcoming of the staff. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The hotel is mostly made up of two-storey houses built on a hill overlooking the city of Volos with nice pathways and a swimming pool and bar in the middle. Although it was almost fully-booked, the peace and quiet was overwhelming at night. Short distance from Portaria main square, take your car there if you cannot handle the steep 15-minute walk."

"We had the friendliest welcome of all our stays this trip. We are on a ladies motorbike tour of Greece so a warm welcome and immediate space made available for our bikes right outside the hotel was hugely appreciated. The rooms exceeded all expectation with thoughtful touches like a separate makeup face towel and toiletries which were lovely. Fluffy dressing gowns and slippers made it feel much more luxurious than the stars and price would suggest and the bed was the most comfortable of the whole trip for me. Air con worked perfectly so I got the best night sleep also and woke to an outstanding breakfast! Highly recommended and we’re very likely to stop off again on the way back through."

The rooms are beautifully decorated, spotless, and I especially loved the warm, thoughtful lighting. Breakfast and the restaurant area were spacious and inviting, with a great selection of food. The service was excellent — the owners were kind, welcoming, and eager to share tips about Makrinitsa. I also have to mention the bar: the quality and variety of the drinks were impressive, and I had the best hot chocolate I’ve tasted in years! A truly charming stay — highly recommended."

"Hotelli sijaitsee keskustassa, jotta käydään sekä itä- että länsirannikko Pelion niemimaan pohjoispuolella, (alue tunnettu tuulenteiden, jotka vievät pitkän aikaa päästä ympäri). Se oli myös spotlessly puhdas ja mukavaa ja aamiainen upea. Mutta mitä tekee tämän hotellin todella erityinen on lämmin, perheen ilmapiiri luonut Anastasia joka tekee kaiken voi tehdä oleskelu ylimääräinen erityinen. Anastasia on saanut 15:n 10:stä, jos voisimme! Ei ole mitään epämiellyttävää, mutta asiakkaat olisivat tietoisia siitä, että kausi on päättynyt, ei ole ravintoloita välittömästi lähellä, ja siksi me hyötyivät Anastasia söpö ruokavaliosta joka ilta."
