Siena is just 35 minutes away, and Florence 40 minutes in the other direction, San Gimignano is 30 mins away, with Volterra the next village along. You really couldn't pick a more central location. Guests often have their sunset drinks here, or take their evening meals here under the stars. The natural stone-tiled pool area is a tactful 50 metres from the house, and offers amazing sunset vistas, as well as the opportunity to watch the cheeky swallows having an evening dip in the pool. There are plenty of deck-chairs and sun-loungers, as well as umbrellas, the natural shade produced by trees surrounding the pool, and a shower. NB There is no pool supervision, so NO children under the age of 14 may use the pool unsupervised. The Koi pond is a peaceful landscaped area made up of a stone built circular pond, with a seating area. It is very quiet and is shaded by large trees.
