Parque Mourabel, Oásis Village & Pé do Lago arvostelua

A great hotel complex. Reception staff were SO helpful, above and beyond! Friendly and can communicate very well in English. A lovely walk to the marina from the hotel, takes a good 25-30mins though. This is fine but with young children it can take double the time 🤣, so, we hired bikes. The reception staff sorted this for us. It was a great bike rental company. Choice of three swimming pools but all are not heated. I’m a swimmer, after about 20 lengths I just got colder and colder. But fine for a cool down dip. My six and four year old did get in for a few minutes. They open late, 10am. I like to swim from 7.30/8am. So, if you’re after an early morning swim head for the sea. We had a massive apartment, it was fantastic. All necessities for self catering. Our apartment was clean, however, day two the cleaners were at our door around 3pm on our return from a day out. So, we told them not to bother to clean our room so that we could go into it. They did leave us more loo roll and towels. So, our apartment wasn’t cleaned throughout our five night stay, but where our apartment was so spacious it felt clean and tidy anyhow. Supermarket serves fresh rolls every morning and has a fair selection. Tasty fruit. There needs to be more child friendly facilities, like a play park, but the Portuguese don’t seem to have them like we do in England. Overall, it’s a basic hotel, but clean, pleasant and friendly staff.

We made the best of our stay here. Our apartment in the oasis village block was incredibly tired in places. There was quite a bit of mould in bathroom and bedroom. Plus side is the kitchen was decent with a good cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and kettle. Plenty of pots and pans, utensils, etc. The housekeeping wasn't regular enough, came late afternoon on day 3 by which time we had ran out of toilet roll. Reported a leak from shower tray but no repair carried out, so had to keep using towels to stop water running across the tiled floor. The pool area was OK, but sunbeds are tired. Food and drink at the restaurant was good for the price. You can walk into the marina in around 30mins or they offer a free shuttle periodically in the day. GRACE'S RESTAURANT nearby is fantastic! Unfortunately, we wouldn't return to this complex.

Apartments not great , dusty not very clean hairs in the plug hole in the bath Towels not changed on a daily basis when l asked for clean towels I got a very hostile reply . Will certainly not be returning Overall experience not the best never a 3 star resort

I would give this place 4 out of 5 stars. Very Clean. Friendly staff. Only 20 minute walk to the Marina which was quite enjoyable. Pool area lovely. Free shuttle bus 3 times a time. Uber very cheap too, less that 5 euro. Only fault was the blankets on the beds we didn't like the feel of them,but that was us. Will definitely go back to stay.

I would not return here again!! Definitely would not recommend! The guy on reception - edwardo very very rude, states he wants to “please the guests” but didn’t seem to want to help at all! The lifts are always broken, we were on the third floor - having to climb 6 flights of stairs up and down all day is annoying! We stayed in a room with neighbours who had barking dogs, who don’t stop barking, they were left for hours on end! Barking till at least midnight most nights leaving us with little sleep, complained to reception who didn’t seem to care! Not worth the money or time to visit!!

My wife and I have just returned from a lovely relaxing stay at the Parque Mourabel, yes, as others have said, it is out of the way but they do run a courtesy bus, and if you enjoy walking it’s not a problem, also being out of the town means it is quiet with no late night revellers. We had a superior one bedroom apartment which we couldn’t fault, it was immaculate, well equipped, with a large balcony overlooking the pool. We were booked on a half board basis and yet again we had no complaints, breakfast was limited but freshly cooked to order which was a bonus from buffet breakfasts in most other places, evening dinner again limited but we always found something to our liking, and the portions were huge ( think the chef could do with a lesson in portion control 😋) . We must mention the incredible waiting staff, so friendly and helpful, along with many laughs, they all couldn’t do enough to make you feel more welcome. Check in and check out were straightforward and helpful tips given for our stay. All in all we enjoyed our visit and would have no hesitation in returning, for the cost it was very good, those who disagree should perhaps go to the Hilton or similiar and pay a lot more.

Just returned from this hotel !!! Unfortunately it’s in a residential area and there’s not much there other than graces restaurant which is fabulous five min walk , and a very good supermarket over the road ! The apartments are very well equipped if you want to use the kitchen , the bedroom are quite dark always need a light on ! We didn’t find the staff very friendly on check in or check out the man didn’t even acknowledge I had checked out quite rude! The two young guys in the breakfast room where very polite Breakfast very basic but you could eat ! I don’t think I would recommend this hotel or even go back !! Also sort out the terrible smell of cat wee in the entrance from the large cat who lives there not good welcome neither!!!!!

We booked a two bedroom upgraded apartment as we were travelling as a couple with our daughter and granddaughter so we didn't want to be making beds up every night in the sitting room. We were in the oasis block, so no balcony but a grassy area at the front with a table and chairs. We were advised that the apartment had been recently refurbished and it was clean and freshly painted. A bit too freshly painted as there was a strong paint smell. After a couple of days leaving the windows open it did die down. Although initially the upgraded apartment looked great there were some neglected areas that could easily be rectified. Cupboard doors that didn't sit straight and didn't shut properly. Shower screen didn't quite manage to stay shut meaning water sprayed through. A front door that was a bit swollen and difficult to shut. The sitting room has two sofas that are actually single beds with mattresses and a back to lean cushions against. Good for extra guests but way too wide to sit on comfortably. The apartment was laid out over two floors, with the two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs with a shower over the bath. Downstairs was the sitting room, dining area and large kitchen, a further bathroom with a walk in shower. Stairs look beautiful and are marble but be careful if you are wearing socks. Lots of storage space. Kitchen equipped with full oven and hob, fridge freezer and a lot of kitchen equipment. The oven was a bit hot, we put a pizza in the oven that should have taken around 10 mins and after 6 mins it was charcoal. Beds were not the comfiest I have encountered but not as bad as some hotels. We also had a couple of days where we didn't open the windows as the weather was quite wet and cool. Our clothes and bedding started getting damp so we would recommend opening the windows upstairs every day for a while. The air-conditioning also does heating which came in useful on cool mornings and evenings. We didn't use the hotel restaurant so cannot comment on food. Also we didn't get chance to use the pools due to the weather. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back here. It was very good value for money. It is a little bit out of the way if you enjoy the beach and the harbour but we hired a car and explored a lot of different areas. Plenty of parking including gated areas for the block.

Upon arrival; the complex looks rundown, shabby & in need of a lick of paint! However, once the extremely polite receptionist actually took myself to the apartment, I was blown away. He stated it had been very recently renovated & for a 3* establishment it was very swish & modern, as my photos suggest. I've stayed in many 5* hotels etc & my home for 3 nights was right up there; if not more so. Sad that it's situated in Vilamoura, as there's nothing remotely Portuguese about the area, apart from the nearby stunning Falesia beach, which I visited each day & looked very much forward to returning to my beautiful apartment each night. A lovely stay.

Wish We could stay forever. Reduced to 6 weeks only due to health concerns. Give us Portuguese citizenship anytime. Try to book same apartment each visit and always succeed thanks to reception/ management staff. One bedroom ,en suite, washing machine, dishwasher, dining cutlery etc. for four . TV in living room and bedroom .

We are a golfing couple and stayed for a few days at the end of January. We found the Mourabel surprisingly busy and all guests enjoying their stay. The upgraded room was great value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will most certainly be returning. Thanks Mourabel.

5 stars 🌟 is not enough for this lovely accommodation. All the staff are great 👍 Anything you need just ask and they will try and accommodate you. Our apartment had everything you could need and more, that's why we love coming back here. We spent 3 weeks here in january and only used the big supermarket once as the shop over the road sells all you need and more at a good price, fresh bread daily. The accommodation has a free shuttle bus to take you to the marina 3 times a day 9am...11am...4pm These times are reversed for coming back from the drop off point. You can also use uber which ruffly costs €4.50 so it is great for getting around. If your after winter sunshine 🌞 with a good bunch of people this is the place for you. We Stayed in Oasis Village for one week. Our room was very clean, well equipped and spacious. We had two heaters provided but the 1st couple of nights we were cold. Extra blankets provided came in handy. The bar was very good service and prices very good. Shuttle bus driver was very helpful and friendly. The walk to the Marina was easy and a nice walk. Shop nearby had everything you need to self cater. Our view wasnt great overlooking the building yard and near a main road. Balcony very small but we didnt sit out much due to the time of year. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the grounds and gardens are immaculate.

Just back from a short break here following a great stay previously. Start with the restaurant, we ate here both evenings and the meals are absolutely fantastic along with the service. Reception and bar areas clean with friendly staff. Now onto the room, disgusting smell of fish for the entire stay! Says in bathroom that rooms are sanitised between guests, unfortunately this definitely wasn’t the case for our room and hence the reason we won’t be returning to the hotel, however we will find alternative accommodation nearby as the restaurant is fantastic.
