"This is a really lovely hotel. The staff are warm and welcoming, the location couldn't be better - a 20 minute walk into beautiful Vieste, and right across the street from a long, sandy, really clean beach. Plenty of free parking, gorgeous pool, and a tennis court. We had a junior suite in the 5th floor with a small balcony and a big terrace with very nice sun loungers and patio furniture. And there was a lift, thank goodness! Breakfast is wonderful, with everything fresh and locally sourced. Vieste was a real treat - gorgeous old quarter with lovely shops and really great restaurants."

"Suuri perheenjohtaja hotelli, joka oli virkistynyt 2 isoa henkilökohtaista ketjua hotellia. Henkilöstö oli tervetullut ja apua. Meillä oli puhdas, moderni huone, jossa kaikki toimi oikein ja oli suuri kävely suihkussa. Meillä ei ollut parveke, mutta emme odottaneet. Ruokapalvelu oli hieman persoonaton, mutta olimme suuressa ryhmässä ja oli useita tällaisia ryhmiä palvelemaan, joten on melko ymmärrettävää, että he haluavat jatkaa työtä. On 2 pyöreä pöytä itsepalvelun antipasti ja ruoan lasti niihin, mutta varmista, että käy molemmat suurin lajike. Muut kurssit olivat hyvin keitetyt. Hissit olivat hieman ylivoimaisia, kun bussilla oli kuorma, joten oli parempi välttää ne tuolloin."

"We stayed four nights and had a really fantastic time. The hotel was lovely. The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean with excellent air-conditioning. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the service was very good. We did half board and the dinner was excellent, particularly the antipasti. The other facilities were great and really made the holiday. The swimming pool was the best hotel swimming pool we have had. It was very large with a 2.6 m deep end and plenty of room in the shallow as well and lots of space and Sun beds available Around. There were also lots of other facilities such as tennis courts which were free and equipment provided, and a large gym which we didn’t actually get around to using although it looked very well equipped.. There was table football, a playground, and table tennis, as well as mini golf. Although our daughter was too old, there was a very active kids club that looked excellent. Drinks at the rooftop bar were very reasonable and there was live music twice a week which was very nice. The beach was lovely. We didn’t take the hotel minibus but parked there for €5. It was all very easy and convenient. Would definitely recommend. We were very sorry to leave and would love to come back. Also, Vieste is a really beautiful town. The old town and Harbour are stunning and people were extremely friendly."

"This hotel is rated a 4 star hotel and at best it is a 2.5 or 3 star hotel. I decided to book this hotel direct after seeing very high reviews on it. However the website site is quite deceiving because there are 2 Hotel Forte’s in Vieste almost side by side. One is new and the other (where we stayed) is like stepping back into the 1970’s. The reception staff seemed quite helpful when we arrived with parking and directions but when asked about the town centre we were told that it is a very small town and not a lot of shops. We walked into town about 23 mins and it was amazing with lots of little lane ways and shops and restaurants. The views in the town are amazing. The walk in is long but on a slow incline. In the town there are lots of stairs but also ways around them. Back to the hotel. Parking easy just across the street in an open public car park. Two lifts in the hotel (one strictly for staff) the other for the guests which was very slow. The breakfast area was large and you were allocated a table where you had to stay for the rest of your stay at the hotel. The Breakfast offer was ok but the room and area was a little grotty. The bar was open from early in the pool area but you couldn’t get a red wine. Even after the pool bar closed and the inside bar opened you couldn’t get a bottle of wine to take back to the room only a glass. We ended up going to supermarket and buying one. We asked for 2 glasses and got plastic cheap plastic glasses. The best thing about this hotel was the balcony with sea views but trying to get have a wine on the balcony was a little difficult as there was no room service at all but there was a bar and a restaurant. I asked about the laundry service and was told there was one in town. We had breakfast at the hotel once and then went across the car park to the Beach Bar La Bussola which had great coffee and food. All in all our worst stay in Italy outside of Rome. Don’t stay there."

THE ROOM SPACIOUS BUT POORLY CARED FOR: THERE WAS A LEAK ON THE CEILING, A POWER SOCKET DIDN'T WORK AS WELL AS THE TELEPHONE AND IN THE BATHROOM EVEN IF CLEAN, THE SANITARY FITTINGS SHOULD BE REPLACED (YELLOWING TABLET AND MOLDY SINK MIXER). Hän antoi meille jokaisen toiveen (kyky tehdä aamupala huoneessamme, matka hotellissa ja hämmästyttävä katto-ylä-kansi - veden näkymät etu-takaisin, selityksen aamiaisrutiini JA jopa suosittelee vierailun paikallisen apteekin tohtori. Kun hän oli naimisissa paikallisen kalastajan kanssa, hän jopa jakai meille, miten tehdä tuoreita anšoojia .... Hotelli näytti olevan täysin päivitetty äskettäin, ja huoneet olivat hyvin mukavia. Voin suositella tätä hotellia (ja Eda) kaikille, jotka etsivät miellyttävää oleskelua hiljaisessa mutta mielenkiintoisessa merihotellissa Viestessä."
