My 7-month-old son screamed in panic, and our dog was completely distraught. No staff member was available, no help – I had to remove the smoke detector myself. After that, there was no protection whatsoever in an emergency. The fact that the hotel neither acknowledged this incident nor offered compensation is, in my opinion, simply irresponsible. Safety and service should be top priorities – neither was present here. We certainly won't be coming back."
