The front desk staff was friendly and the check-in procedure was quick and efficient, which made me look forward to the next stay. The room is spacious and bright, with a reasonable layout. The most surprising thing is that the room is equipped with complete kitchen equipment! This is an unexpected surprise for me who likes to cook by myself. Refrigerator, microwave, stove... everything is available, just like a small home. During our stay, we decided to use these kitchen equipment to cook a few meals by ourselves. I bought fresh ingredients in the market and started to get busy when I returned to the room. The kitchen was filled with the aroma of food, and the feeling of home came naturally. Eating the meals I made by myself and looking at the city scenery outside the window, my heart was full of satisfaction and happiness. In addition to the satisfactory kitchen equipment, other facilities in the room are also very complete. The bed is soft and comfortable, allowing me to enjoy a good sleep every night. The bathroom is clean and tidy, and all kinds of toiletries are available. There are also air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, etc. in the room, which meet our daily needs. The location of the hotel is also very good, with many restaurants, shops and attractions around it, making it very convenient to travel. Whether it is shopping or tasting local food, you can easily find a place. In general, staying at Sydney Newtown City Hotel is a very warm and comfortable experience. "The room is spacious enough for 3 adults and 2 big luggages. The view outside is tower clock. Beds are big enough for 2 adults to sleep together or 1 adult + 1 child. What I don’t like is how they clean up the room. With the carpet floor, I found the room is quite dusty when we arrive and most of the nights so we have to ask for additional cleaning to make it better. Some used utensils and coffee cups were left on the table after housekeeping. I would expect better cleaning quality for 5-star hotel. Breakfast is so-so, not so many choices especially protein. Can’t find any protein in the breakfast, except eggs."
