"The hotel is nice, spacious beautiful room at check in we were treated to a refreshing juice. There is a big pool on the grounds and a big jacuzzi with hot water in the room.  Minuses of the hotel: Far from the attractions. Taxi from the center only go there for the price of pick me x2. Hotel taxi are 3 times more expensive. There are no stores and restaurants near the hotel, so inside the hotel prices for food x3, Also after 6pm it is dangerous to be outside because elephants are walking around. Now let's talk about the premium status and the five races. In 7 years of traveling, this is the first hotel that did not have a bathrobe, slippers and toothbrush and toothpaste in the room. The plumbing in the shower leaks, and the doors creak so much that you could call the spirits at night. Regarding the attention to the customer. I mentioned my upcoming birthday in conversation with the manager, but this fact was not used in any way to show any form of attention from the hotel. This is a huge miscalculation on the part of the staff at a premium hotel. We also had a late departure and our request to delay in the hotel for a couple of hours was refused. This was not due to the arrival of new customers, as the manager offered to extend our stay for a fee. For future customers this fact may be decisive in their choice. In general, the hotel is not bad, but the service and flexibility of the staff, as well as individual approach to customers, does not correspond to the premium level and requires improvement."

"The heritage Kandalama Hotel is in the heart of the Gungal near a lake. The hotel was designed with consideration and respect for the environment, the animals that live there and the nature that surrounds the hotel. The room is cozy and well-equipped and includes a balcony overlooking the jungle. The infinity pool overlooks a lake where elephants and birds stay. We received a pleasant welcome from the hotel staff. The dining room is immersed in green and the breakfast is great. We received excellent service and personal attention from the entire staff at the hotel. We arrived at the hotel without luggage and they made sure to coordinate the arrival of the luggage for us. We liked Nalinda the kind guide from the hotel who took us on a morning tour and since then we became friends. Nalinda took care of our well-being even after we left the hotel. Thank you very much for a pleasant stay. Definitely recommended for those who want to rest and relax in a dreamy place."

"シギリヤロックの観光のために2泊しましたが、広い森の中に佇む素敵なリゾートホテルでした。 お部屋はコテージ風の二階建てで、私達の部屋は1階でした。上の階の人たちの足音が朝の4時過ぎからドタバタ聞こえてきたのがうるさかったのと、排水口の匂いが気になりましたが、ご飯は美味しかった（朝食はあまり変わりばえしませんでしたが）のと、爽やかな風が通るプールの前のレストランで気持ち良く食べられたのが良かったです。近くにレストランもなかったので夕食もつけましたが、一泊目はアラカルトメニューから選び、二泊目はビュッフェでカレーとデザートが豊富でした。二日目、ネットワーク障害で１日Wi-Fiが使えず困りましたが、翌朝には直りました。 スタッフの方も皆さん親切で笑顔で感じよかったです。ホテルが人里離れた所のため、シギリヤロックまでの往復と、ピドゥランガラまでの往復のトゥクトゥクをホテルに頼んでアレンジしてもらいましたが、2回とも4800ルビーと言われました。2日とも同じドライバーさんが来て、良い青年でしたが、この価格はその辺りで捕まえるトゥクトゥクに比べるとだいぶ高いと地元のガイドさんが驚いていましたので、利用される方はお気をつけください。"

"中心部から少し離れた所にあるリゾートホテルです。ヴィラタイプのお部屋で、広く清潔で快適でした。 スタッフの方々もとても親切でフレンドリーです。 2027年に完成予定とフロントに書いてありましたので、プールやレストランなどが更にこれからできるようです。（敷地エントランス手前あたりが予定地なのでしょうか、更地のようになっていました。）"
