"I had a wonderful stay at Grand Park Hotel. The location is excellent—just a short walk to Green Lake with its relaxing and beautiful surroundings. The service was truly excellent, and the healthy breakfast options were a great way to start the day. My room was clean and comfortable, making the stay even more enjoyable. I also loved the well-equipped gym located at the top floor, offering a stunning 360-degree view of the city. Overall, a fantastic stay and highly recommended!"

"We've had an incredible time here! The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we stepped out of our chartered car, helping us with our luggage and making us feel right at home. The front desk staff were efficient and friendly, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The service staff during breakfast and happy hour were top-notch, attending to our every need and even filling our personal water bottles. We're so grateful to have chosen Hyatt for our first family trip, and we can't wait to come back!"

"We love Novotel City Centre Kunming so much. The rooms were excellent - comfortable bed n pillow, clean n nice toilet with bidet, extremely helpful staff that helped us throughout our stay: Mila the guest relation officer - she helped me arrange a surprise birthday dinner for my daughter complete with a private room and birthday cake that she ordered and paid upfront for me, Yang and James helped us with our luggages. We have fresh fruites everyday and they even gave us checking out gifts. I give Novotel City Centre Kunming 10 over 10. A perfect score for a perfect stay! For sure I will come again and actually Novotel has been always my hotel Brand of choice, wherever I go in the world, I always stay at Novotel and they never fail me. Thanks Novotel"

"We had an excellent stay at Kai Wah, with a few instances really worth mentioning. Firstly, we had a super early flight and reached the hotel at 5plus in the morning. We checked in and wonder if we are able to check in for the stay at such early hours. Without needing to ask, the service staff immediately arranged a room for us to check in, even though the typical check in time is 2pm onwards. They understood that we were tired from the flight and quickly make arrangements so that we can get some rest. This is an exceptional service that illustrates understanding and care for their customers. Secondly, upon checking into the room, we observed that the toilet bowl was a little dirty and called the reception. Immediately, a service staff named 李星Jeff Li, came to our room and made arrangements to offer us a free upgrade to a suite. However, as we prefer a room that is not situated at the corner, we declined. He then made other arrangements on the spot and offered us another room. He even helped us to transfer the luggages. We needed some advice for the trip and he willingly and patiently offered us advice and assistance. His friendliness and patience with us really made our stay very pleasant. His professionalism and care for his guests are commendable. Finally, when we checked out, the service staff also warmly helped us with the didi booking to the right place. My mum was even given a scarf as little present, which really made her day. Breakfast was really good, huge variety and quality was good too. Suggest to include breakfast in your booking."

"This historic hotel is very charming, and despite its age has all the modern features you’d expect. Located right next to the Green lake, the atmosphere is peaceful and the decor has a classy 1950s vibe. The rooms and public areas (including the swimming pool and changing rooms) were very clean and well looked after, and there were lots of nice touches that made me feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"10/10 will book this hotel again in Kunming!! The location is right smack in the city centre, easy to get around to Nanpibg street by foot (10 mins walk), shuncheng shopping mall. A lot of eateries nearby, no need to worry about it. The hospitality of the staff is also amazing as well, making our stay unforgettable."

"We stayed here for 2 nights. We received a warm welcome upon arrival, which set a positive tone for our stay. Special thanks to Sam the butler and another gentle an who was very helpful and attentive. Another gentleman, possibly the manager, was also very polite and accommodating, which we truly appreciated. The hotel lobby is spacious and smells great, creating a pleasant first impression. Our room was comfortable, with decent pillows and mattress. It also had various small items provided, but some had unclear functions—adding a bilingual guide would be very helpful for foreign guests. Housekeeping was quick and responsive. When we had an issue and called for help, we couldn’t speak Chinese, but someone came directly to our door to understand what we needed—this effort was very much appreciated. One area for improvement: the lady at the front desk when we checked in on 30 Apr should improve her customer service skills, especially when assisting international guests. Overall, a pleasant and welcoming stay with helpful staff and a few areas that could make the experience even better."
