"Had a very warm welcome. The hotel is a little dated, but was clean. Super friendly and helpful staff and a very large continental breakfast. There were cute tiny olive oil bottles, which was very appreciated. The coffee is a self-serve machine and there was canteen serve for all manner of hot foods, lots of bakery variety. I really enjoyed my one night stay after missing a flight at Verona airport. The staff helped me plan a really fun day until my flight the next day, they stored my luggage, while I went to see the sights. The most beautiful square in the world, dantes statue, Romeo and Juliets balcony, the castle, the river, the amphitheatre and I was lucky to find a wonderful festive market. A wonderful night and day in Verona. I went to the gusti gardens which absolutely wonderful highlight of my day."

"Hotelli sijaitsee kätevästi Veronan keskustaan 15 minuutin ajomatkan päässä. Hotellissa on ilmainen pysäköinti, ystävällinen ja avulias vastaanottohenkilökunta sekä yleisesti ottaen hyvin varustetut ja hyvin sisustetut huoneet. Huonesta ja tästä varauksesta voin sanoa: PLUSSAT Erittäin kätevä sisäänkirjautuminen verkossa, kätevä ovenavaus puhelimitse, siisti, tilava huone, jossa on televisio ja jääkaappi (kyllä, jääkaappi, ei minijääkaappi... todella iso!). MIINUKSET Jääkaappi täysin tyhjä (en puhu samppanjasta... mutta ainakin pieni vesipullo olisi tervetullut!). Ei ilmaisia kylpytuotteita kylpyhuoneessa, ei tohveleita, ei suihkumyssyjä, ei edes vanupuikkoja, ei yhtään mitään... Kaiken kaikkiaan hyvä hotelli ottaen huomioon sijainnin ja hinta-laatusuhteen, varsinkin kun huoneet ovat alennuksessa tavallista halvemmalla hinnalla."

"My wife was on a business trip and needed a quiet place to work on her computer. The hotel had numerous rooms fully set up for quiet work, and for small and large gatherings as well. All in the fantastic heart of beautiful Verona, steps away from all the major tourist spots. We are already looking forward to our return here next year!"

"I was skeptical reading previous reviews but decided to give it a try for one night during my business trip as I’m an IHG member. Having experienced staying at 5 different hotels in this city — most of them within walking distance on Corso Porta Nuova (main street leading from the train station to many main attractions) — I can say that Indigo was among one of my top 2 choices. The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated — the headboard of the bed immediately attracted attention, striking but elegant, with paintings seemingly telling romantic tales of the city’s history; open wardrobe was clever as it made the room seem spacious while leaving plenty of space for hanging clothes and jackets especially on a rainy day. The balcony was a super nice touch and was my favorite to come back to in the evening with a view of charming Verona at night watching people and cars passing by. Two chairs, a coffee table with blankets and a little bit of floral decorations. I spent a fair bit of time despite the cold and rain, soaking in the beautiful images which were among the most special memories I’d carry with me from this trip. Check-in was super efficient. Anna at the reception was an absolute joy to meet and interact with. She’s super kind, thoughtful and professional in helping me with storing my suitcase as I was in a rush to catch my train to a nearby city on a rainy day; she gave clear, accurate info helping me to go to the train station within 10mins; and on the next day, kindly offered recommendations for cafes. Her passion and enthusiasm and friendliness is above and beyond many of her peers. Her genuine smile stands out from others who might be just trying to get their job done. You can tell Anna is truly exceptional and a wonderful ambassador for Hotel Indigo. Keep up the good work! Breakfast service was super efficient, friendly, attentive. The professional and thoughtful gentleman offered multiple times coffee, tea, orange juice, etc, making sure each guest had everything needed for a good start of the day, quickly clearing dishes while guests stepped away - perfectly seamless. Truly outstanding attention to details. The restaurant offered a good variety of food choices: raw veggies are rare in hotel breakfast buffet but here they did so that was a plus in my book. Fresh fruits, muesli, (no sugar-added) yogurt and scrambled eggs were my go-to. Although I didn’t eat pastries or bread or drink Prosecco for breakfast, if that’s something you like then you’d be pleased to know they offered plenty to satisfy different tastes. The only thing that prevented Indigo from making my No. 1 choice in Verona was the shower. I requested specifically for a shower because from the photos shared by other travelers and reviews many commented that the bath look dated and needed update. I personally do not take baths in hotels so having a new, good water pressure shower with fast efficient drain would be way more important. They did honor my request with a standup shower corner stall. However, the square-shaped shower stall area was so small that my elbows (I’m petite size female) kept knocking on the glass doors. I believe they’re scheduled for major renovation in Jan-Feb 2024 so it’d be interesting to see if they remodel the bathrooms and showers."

"No words to say really and the fact that the guy who was resptionist told me this is not my responsibility and I am not a waiter to bring blankets for you was anoteher level. I really like to discuss this with their manager because I've been to that hotel before and I aimed to go again but I don't think so anymore. Not me and my family! The receptionist was not professional and they expected me to go to their other building to collect the blankets that they did not provide! They were rude that they wanted to get to my room with out prior permission from me to check if the room actually has blankets or not!!!! They did not trust my words as a guest!!! this was so not respectful and of course I did not let them in to the room at 11 pm while my parents are sleeping and told them to check the room while I am checking out in the morning!! OMG I was waiting for blanket since 12 pm!!!! And they said you should come and collect it because we don't have staff!!!! a 4 star hotel! And once I went there they actually had 2 staff!"

"We recently stayed here for 5 nights to take in the sights of Verona and surrounding cities. While I can't complain about the price, and for that, it was a bargain, there were a number of issues that resulted in a less than perfect rating. The location: While it looks close to the main train station, it is about a 25 minute walk. However the 23/24/73 buses run regularly and pick-up / drop-off very close to the hotel Lidl: next door to the hotel is a Lidl - it was a godsend and well worth visiting (if only for the fresh cheese focaccia). The hotel itself was very clean but: - The rooms have wooden floors and the walls aren't super-thick. So, when someone checks in to their room nearby, you can hear everything. At midnight, it isn't great when they're walking in heels across the floor. - Lack of plug sockets - there was one usable plug in the room that is shared with the kettle, and one in the bathroom! - Air conditioning (or severe lack of) - the rooms have air con, however, it wasn't switched on and I was told by reception that at this time of year (October) they don't have it switched on. The room temp was in the high 20s which led to us not actually sleeping under the covers - we spend 5 night sleeping on top of the bed as the room was just too hot. We couldn't sleep with the window open as their was too much noise from outside. - The toilet flush was leaking 'hot water' - but this was repaired / replaced with a different toilet flush - Staff: They were helpful when housekeeping has vacuumed up one of my wife's earrings, but didn't offer any assistance with regards to the heating in the room"

"Hotelli oli kokonaisvaltaisesti hyvä. Siisti, hyvät palvelut mm. ilmainen kuljetus Veronan keskustaan ja sieltä takaisin hotellille. Myös sijainti oli ainakin meille hyvä."

"La posizione della struttura è davvero invidiabile soprattutto per il fatto che è possibile anche lasciare l'auto presso uno dei due garage disponibili. Il proprietario è gentilissimo, molto disponibile a guidarci e anche a dare qualche consiglio per visitare Verona se necessario. La stanza era perfetta, pulita e ben rifinita. Ho apprezzato le varie finestre per fare entrare luce solare, forse un po' calda per i miei gusti, ma invece adeguata per la mia compagna. La colazione in camera, inclusa, è un lusso ragguardevole e ben pensato. Un posto perfetto per godersi Verona in coppia."
