About this spaceLocated one block away from restaurants and shopping in the heart of Saugatuck, this 1bd 1ba suite has a private entrance, dedicated parking space and all the amenities required for a relaxing stay. Your suite is on the lower level, and includes the 3 season porch overlooking the back. There are three suites in the home, and each have their own exterior entry door. The kitchen oven is half the normal size, so you may want to take a short walk to the coffee shops/ restaurants in town for meals!The spaceWe have tried our best to create a nice space for guests. Though it may not be perfect, we think it’s pretty great. Your space is part of what once was a single family home that has been split into three separate units. Each of them have their own entrance and dedicated parking spot. The noise in between units is minimal and shouldn't be a problem. The outdoor space includes a table and four chairs as well as a grill. The house is two blocks from town, so location is one of the greatest attributes of this space. The sunroom is my favorite part of this unit.Guest accessYou will have access to the first floor unit in the back of the house, as well as the connected sunroom and an outdoor patio and grill. You will have a private entrance on the left of the house and a dedicated off-street parking space (sometimes hard to find in Saugatuck!). The kitchen is fully stocked with dining and cooking dishes and appliances, including a standard coffee maker. The living room is comfortable and includes a tv with basic hulu streaming services. The wifi is excellent throughout the space. The bedroom includes a comfortable bed and night tables. The living room couch also folds out to a bed, and there are spare sheets and bedding in the baskets in the living room coffee table if needed. The bathroom has a standard shower and includes shampoo, conditioner and bath soap. Butterfly Cottage is a truly unique cottage located in the Historic district of Saugatuck. Casual cottage styling mixed with colorful spaces, this cottage makes for a comfortable stay in Saugatuck. This quaint cottage will accommodate 8 or 9 people comfortably. The main house has two bedrooms; one with a queen sized bed and the other with a full. The bungalow, just steps away in the backyard, serves as the third bedroom and has heat and air conditioning. The bungalow has a queen size bed and also bunk beds. The bungalow has a full bath that was added in 2011. As an added convenience, there are no steps getting into the bungalow.Located in the heart of the village district, plan on walking to all the in-town locations. The river is just a few hundred feet away with shops, restaurants and parks located within a 3-10 minute walk. If you are familiar with Saugatuck, Butterfly cottage is a stone's throw from the public boat launch, Gleason's market and Ida Reds. We are happy to be one of the few places to welcome well mannered pets in our cottage. An added plus, the back yard is fully fenced. Please note that if you plan on bringing your pet, you need to include them in your booking. When you are inputting the number of guests, you will want to make sure you add "Yes" to the pet question as well as to include the pet information in the booking.
