"Hotel was clean and comfortable. Good location to 6th St, although one needs to travel to 6th Street East which is a bit of a walk.
Hotel is quiet at night.
One note about the AC condensation pumps - they go off with a good deal of frequency. They will provide earplugs and a white noise machine. Just an observation for those ahead of time. The hotel was quick to make sure the pump was clean."

"Great location, but rooms felt a bit gloomy
The hotel is in a really convenient spot — right by the lake and close to downtown, which made it easy to get around and explore Austin.
That said, the room we had was a bit of a letdown. It was pretty small and didn’t get much natural light, so it felt kind of dark and cramped. Not terrible, but not the most comfortable for hanging out.
Still, if you're mostly out and about and just need a place to sleep, the location makes it worth considering."

"Have to say, having stayed at several hotels in the area, by a country mile this was by far the best & most enjoyable. The two ladies on reception were funny, full of exuberance & pleasure to interact with. Even if one thought speaking like Mary Poppins would make her an honorary British speaker… had to laugh.., keep it up ! Full marks for effort"

"It was a 11pm check in. The welcome was only cool. The king-sized-bed room was reasonably sized, but with a bit of smell. Not a bad smell but not a scent neither. The room and bathroom were ok and clean and neat. Exercise room was ok with some weights and treadmills (somehow I didn't know how to get them work). Better if they have a bit more machines in there with staff occasionally checking if the machines are working. Breakfast was very simple. No freshly cooked eggs, no soy/oat milk. Quite basic but acceptable considering the price of the room. The check out was warmer and heartful."

JJayshi1211Olin hiljattain EVEN Hotel Austin Downtown lähellä Domain, ja se oli fantastinen kokemus! Hotellin sijainti on uskomattoman mukava, helppo pääsy kauppoja, ravintoloita ja suuria moottoritiet. Olitpa täällä liiketoiminnan tai vapaa-ajan vuoksi, tarvitset vain minuutteja.
Huone oli tilava, puhdas ja suunniteltu mukavuuteen. Sänky oli poikkeuksellisen mukava, ja rakastin modernia, hyvinvoinnin keskittynyt tiloja, kuten huoneessa harjoittelulaitteet. Kokonaisvibe oli tuore ja rento.
Yksi parhaista osista? Raha on erinomainen. Verrattuna muihin hotelliin alueella, EVEN Hotel tarjoaa suuria hintoja ilman uhraamista laatua. Lisäksi pysäköintipaikka on valtava no stressaava kiertoradalla paikalle, joka on harvinainen perk keskustan alueilla.

AAnonyymi käyttäjäWe loved staying here! It was my first time in Austin, and the hotel is close to everything. You can drive or walk to different places.
The beds were super comfortable! It was also cool to have a kitchenette inside the room, with glassware, a refrigerator, microwave, and utensils that are essential to us. Service is topnotch as well.
The only downside is that their walls are pretty thin. We could hear our neighbor talking and watching TV. I suggest bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, just in case!

EExpatCambria is a newer hotel amidst the redevelopment projects taking place near Rainey Street, a historic landmark of homes turned into entertainment venues. Cambria is opposite side of the spectrum with innovative decor and relaxation. Note that parking costs 49USD per day with valet access only. We chose not to rent a car based on our needs in Austin. Came to visit my son and his family with my eldest son, so we wanted to have some options near nightlife activities. Local drivers shared info on the changes made to the nearby historic street, and staff was friendly with all needs. The water statiins were a plus. Where I think Cambria can improve is in the price of the rooms, menu items and operation hours of their lobby bar/roof bar since staff was short during our stay. Walking to the entertainment street required the back alley short trek, and that aspect took away from the lush atmosphere of the hotel. Grafitti and Limestone hotel venues can easily adjust their marketung strategies towards in-house entertainment along with the Valet arrangement to flow more smoothly and affordably. It’s a lovely hotel which can become full circle staycation with a few adjustments regarding that aspect. New business developments working alongside grass roots businesses is key to smooth changes for both visitors and long-time locals. The pool atmosphere is great, the gym is clean, and the first floor waiting area an easy meeting spot.

The guests rooms need to be updated and walk-in showers would be a definite improvement over the old bathtubs … especially since the bathroom is so small. The separate living area is nice but not imperative for most of us. Breakfast is lovely and free tho tipping for a custom breakfast order is nice but not expected. I was shocked to see they had started charging for parking last time I was there (this is a suburban business and shopping area, not downtown!) That left a bad taste in my mouth ….. enough that I’m not sure I’ll be returning. Be sure to figure that cost in when comparing rates! Call for latest parking fee.
