"Positive points: The hotel was empty (off-season), and we were upgraded — thank you for the thoughtful gesture! The view is beautiful, even though we weren’t there during the ideal season for the rice fields. We received an excellent welcome, and the bedding was comfortable.
Note: The hotel is not correctly located on the Trip.com map. The host had to come and pick us up, as following the map brought us to the wrong spot, about a 1–2 minute walk from the hotel.
Unrelated to the hotel: We found it disappointing that the buses connecting the villages tried to charge us a higher price just because we are foreigners. Foreigners, yes — but not naive."

"大年初五我和老婆入住這家民宿，作為經常旅遊的老炮，這家民宿屬於高品質的一家。
絕佳的觀景視角毋容置疑，民宿地處山頂，視野超棒，推開房間陽台門，滿眼的梯田盡收眼底。坐在陽台，泡上一壺茶，看着遠山風雲變幻，聽着樓下潺潺溪水慢慢流入梯田，幾衹小山雀在青瓦房上玩耍，這種遠離城市喧囂的靜，讓人真正迴歸到了自然中，太愜意了。
民宿剛開業兩年，設施比較新，連馬桶都是智能的，就餐就在雲霧中，環境和設施超棒，五星酒店的標準，根本不像民宿。我和老婆點了一道菜，叫一雞兩吃，我們説一餐吃不完，老闆就讓我們分兩餐做，給我們留着。雞是山裡散養的，味道太好了，我們中午吃了竹筒雞，晚上吃了泉水雞 ，兩種體驗，雞湯太鮮美了，比城市裡的強太多，可能是這裏泉水甘甜的緣故吧。説到水，這家民宿可以説達到山泉水自由，連生活用水都是山泉水。
這裏民風淳樸，我和老婆晚上才到，老闆安排一位姓莫的司機去接我們，司機健談，風土人情、景點狀況都娓娓道來，下了車，他還把兩個大箱子提上三樓房間，真是太周到了。
這家民宿適合慢節奏的驢友，可以靜靜體驗自然美景及人文風情，性價比超值，以後有機會還會來。"

"What a gem! A central location in the Dazhai village to be able to fully enjoy the Longji rice villages. Balcony view kept you connected with the village while relaxing in your room. Instant hot water for the shower and nice connected bathroom. The owners of the hotel were very accommodating and were able to answer all of our questions with kindness. On our way in and out we were taken by car, although walking from the parking lot to the hotel is also a quick option. Finally, we ordered dinner in the room the last evening and were surprised by how well the food was made and also the large portions served. No complaints!"

"民宿是新開的，在龍脊梯田景區裏面，離觀景台很近，開車一會就到了。所有設備都特別棒，全屋智能，衹要召喚小度就什麼都解決了。他們家生意也很好，從入住到晚上12點都一直陸陸續續有人用餐，真心喜歡這裏，房子真的漂亮，裝修風格也很清新，一句上沒看到這麼棒的民宿，推薦推薦！早上可以看日出，晚上可以看星星，老闆娘人美心善，有問必答，送糯米酒，送百香果汁，送伴手禮，什麼都送送送，我們都不好意思了。祝老闆娘生意興隆，下次還會再來。"

"The hotel is situated really nice in the village and the view from the room is good, it is possible to see the rice terraces; the only downside is the tree blocking partly the view on the terraces.
The village itself is very quiet, many hotels/restaurants closed down during/after covid, and it was really different compared to the vibrant life we saw back in 2017 when we also visited this village.
The room was basic but really nice and clean and the bed comfortable.
The owners do not speak English, but were super friendly and helpful. They arranged transfers from/to the airport, were happy to give us tips about the surroundings and made sure we always had enough hot&cold drinking water.
The dinner (which you can buy from the menu) was ok, but there are better restaurants in town.
The free breakfast was very simple.
All in all we had a nice stay at this hotel."

"we spent one month travelling China and this stay was definitely our favourite! The rooms were very clean and we received a free upgrade and all the amenities in the room worked perfectly! It’s a family run business and the mom made the best homemade food we tried in China and the dad and son were also extremely kind and helpful! They organized a free pick up to and from the bus stop and helped us organize the tickets for the bus to Guilin. The son speaks very good english so communication was no problem and he helped with any questions we had. The location was also extremely convenient and the view was very beautiful! Definitely recommend coming here!"

It's strategically located at Ping'an, where it's easily accessible to View Point 1: Nine Dragons and Five Tigers and View Point 2: Seven Stars around the Moon. The path to the above viewing points is just next to the hotel!
The hotel owner picked us up from the parking lot and carried our bags to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay due to the warm hospitality and superb service.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and cleaned with amazing views of the rice terraces close-up. We can even see the sunrise from our rooms. We went during winter, but fret not; the heaters in the rooms kept one warm. It was fun to go during winter as Ping'an is not crowded with tourists. The view of the Longji rice terraces has a different kind of beauty after the harvest season.
We had dinner at the hotel. The dishes were delicious as the vegetables were freshly plucked and the chicken was slaughtered for dinner. The hotel owner went out of their way to get us the dried bamboo shoots that we wanted to buy to take home.
Breakfast was great. We have enjoyed our meals at the hotel as they're home-cooked and organic. You can't get vegetables, herbs, and meat products fresher than here. It's a great place to stay for hiking and relaxation.

The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They also respond very quickly to all your questions and you can easily reach them via WeChat.
They helped us to book a direct bus from Guilin to Dazhai and from Dazhai to Yangshuo.
The pick up and drop off service from the Dazhai parking lot is quick and efficient, we were really happy that we didn't need to walk up the hill with our heavy luggage.
The room is clean, spacious and luxurious.
The breakfast is really good. We also ordered food for dinner twice and it was delicious! We also got some very good rice wine and tea with the dinner.
We're travelling in China for a month and this was definitely our best stay of the entire trip!

VVieraskäyttäjäI was going to leave an average review because I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness and the way the room was kept, especially since my experience in China regarding this aspect was very surprising in a good way! But I have to say, despite this aspect, I had such a great time here. Here I found the peace I craved after some very busy cities, the food was very fresh and delicious and the young boy who served me made this stay a 10/10! He was very patient, kind, helpful, even brought my dinner on the balcony and in the garden and always served me with the wine rice (which I just discovered) and fresh fruit. The views from the hotel are stunning and they also have some very pretty ethnic clothes which guests can wear and take photos! I felt very beautiful wearing them! They also picked me up and dropped me off at the bus station. Thank for for this beautiful, soul healing experience! But do try and make an effort with the cleaning and the way the rooms and the hallways are kept. This is my improvement suggestion and I think if this would be taken care of, this place would be a truly perfect gem!❤️

TTuan Ying GohHad such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us.
The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal.
The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here.
The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local).
What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat).

VVieraskäyttäjäWe had an amazing stay, the view was spectacular and the staff were extremely hospitable. On our last day we had trouble getting to the neighbouring town (Dazhai) to sightsee, however the hotel staff were able to help us out, drove us there, and then even back to Guilin City to our next accommodation!
The hotel also serves food, so breakfast and dinner were no problem. The food was delicious and authentic, made with local ingredients.
We would definitely recommend to our friends and family to stay here on their next trip.

GGiulia 何俊蜓Our experience at Baike Hotel was simply great! The hotel is very very very beautiful, clean, and furnished in the local style. The view from the terrace and from our room was amazing, and very peaceful. The food was also delicious! Plus, Jason and his wife have been extremely friendly and helpful in answering to our questions, helping us and in giving us suggestions on how to tour around the area. Upon our request, Jason also helped us arrange a transfer from the Airport in Guilin to the hotel, a transfer from Ping’An to Dazhai (to do the 15km hike back), and a transfer from the hotel to our next hotel in Yangshuo. I speak some Chinese, but a plus for those foreign tourists who do not speak any Chinese is that Jason speaks a great English, so no need to worry about language barriers at all! Overall, we 100% recommend this hotel! We had a wonderful and unforgettable experience, and should we ever come back to Ping’An, we would definitely come here again!! 🤗💯💯💯

VVieraskäyttäjäBeautiful place, 5minutes walk away from the Longji rice terrace main viewing platform. But that makes it kind of hard to access if you don’t have a car - but so as the touristic area as a whole.
The room was as on the pictures with a beautiful balcony and view on the mountains and the sunrise. The bed was confortable and the room spacious.
The staff didn’t speak English but was willing to help as much as they can, they for instance booked a taxi back to Guilin for us (count 2h30 to be safe). They wouldn’t do the foreigners registration for us.
They offer dinner options that were really good as well as a tasty noodle soup for breakfast.

VVieraskäyttäjäHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.

VVieraskäyttäjäWe stayed here for two nights and had an incredible time. The view from our room was spectacular overlooking the rice terraces, with a bathtub just next to the window. The room is very clean and wooden giving it a nice rustic feeling. The location is not the easiest to get to but the hotel organised a transport for us from Guilin airport! They also helped us find our bus for our onward journey to Yangshuo. The staff was always very helpful and friendly, they were really great. The food was some of our favourite of our entire stay in china. Highly recommend the beef with potatoes and mixed veggies!

The beds(Japanese style) were incredibly hard though and other guests around were very loud both in evening and early morning.
The rooms could also use some refurbishment.
