This was a great friendly hostel with a really helpful and warm owner. It’s right by the bus station down by the river and has an absolutely beautiful view in the valley right outside. The common area is cool (all glass so very bright) and really nicely furnished, and sometimes they will light a fire in the evening to make it cosy. The room was really comfortable and I had no trouble sleeping at all. The owner also helped me find interesting things to do in the area and even helped me find a solution when the bus I wanted to take was fully booked. I’d really recommend staying here. It’s also a fast walk to the centre of town and easy to get to the temples etc, I’d say it’s the best location because you can easily get to other places with the bus station so near by as well.

I have never met such lovely hotel staff members. They helped me book trips, gave me tips around acclimatization and things to do and so much more. If I return to Kangding, I'll stay here again, for the amazing and kind service! Aside from that, the room had a working AC, hot shower (though requires a little figuring out) and a TV that I could connect to with the HDMI cable they had in the router. The location is rather quite at the north eastern end of the city, which I preferred to the center. It takes around 15 minutes to get to the city center by foot and there's plenty of taxis for around 5 yuan to take you to other parts of the very elongated city. The hotel also has a large lobby with tables, though of course it's a bit cold there.

Excellent stay. Room is very clean with all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. I like the location as it is a few kilometres away from the busy Tagong town thus much quieter. Without much light pollution, you can see the starry skies on clear nights. Host is very friendly and hospitable.

Preis Leistungsverhätnis des Hotels ist top. Mein Freund hatte in der Nacht starke Symptome der Höhenkrankheit. Die Hotelbesitzer haben uns um 3 Uhr in der Nacht ins Krankenhaus gefahren und waren sehr hilfsbereit. Danke nochmal!! Wir haben es durch die Hilfe der Hotelbesitzer geschafft rechtzeitig abzusteigen, meinem Freund geht es wieder gut.

Me tapaamme vierailla Dartsedo (tai yleisesti tunnetaan Kanding) lomapäivän lomalla. Niin, kaupunki oli täynnä vieraita mantereesta. Alkuperäinen hotelli on hylännyt varauksemme ja tämä hostelli oli yksi harvoista vaihtoehdoista jäljellä. Varasimme yhteensä 3 huonetta. On paljon hyviä asioita, jotka voitaisiin sanoa tästä hostelli. Omistaja ja henkilöstön naiset olivat erittäin mukavia ja super apua. He olivat suostuneet pesemään matkalaukkumme vaatteita tiloissa ilmaiseksi, joka oli erittäin ystävällinen. Huoneita oli mitä voitaisiin odottaa tämäntyyppisestä majoitusta ja varaus viime minuutissa. Kaikki oli hyvin mukava järjestetty, että mitä me odotimme hostelli ja sänky olivat hyvin puhtaita .Yhteiset alueet, joissa myös pidettiin puhtaana koko ajan. Suihkualue on pieni puoli, mutta kaikki olivat kuumaa vettä, pyyhkeitä, yleensä ei suuri kuin huolto mutta puhdas ja toiminnallinen. Huoneemme oli luultavasti ainoa, joka seisoi tiilimuurin ei kadulla, mutta me olimme kunnossa. Jokainen vierailee tätä aluetta länsiosasta, pitäisi olla valmis käyttämään squat wc, jotka ovat yleisiä tässä osassa maailmaa. Huoneemme oli varustettu varustettu. Sijainti on hyvä, alakerrassa on rakkauslautakunta, ruokailu kadulla.Kymmenen kerroksessa koko rakennus on kansantalo. Huone ei ole suuri, reception on tiibetiläinen huone, joten on jotain mennä oven luokse etsimään häntä.Maksu ei ole alhainen. Voit mennä 11 kerroksen lattialle ja pukea vaatteita, ampuma-puhelu ei ole hyvä, vuorovaikutus on hieman kova, kaikki hyvin.

Amazing hostel with cozy interior and a really lovely host who made the stay extra enjoyable! The location was ideal for me as the hostel is high enough up the hill that you get an stunning view but still only have to walk around 10 minutes (up/down hill) to get to the centre of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the common area for relaxing is beautifully decorated in traditional ******* style. The host was really helpful and caring (always bringing us tea and snacks) and we had some great conversations with her about life in Kangding. She gave us lots of advice on what to do in the city, helped us out organizing cheap transport back to Chengdu, and even made us a super unique and delicious fusion meal of yak steak with salad. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere with a traditional feel and a great view!

We really enjoyed our time at Tuoma Homestay. The rooms were clean, cosy and had a nice local feel. It’s a peaceful place that gives you a real sense of the area. What made it special was how welcoming and thoughtful the host was. We always felt well looked after and it made travelling here so much easier and more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable place with kind people and an authentic atmosphere, Tuoma Homestay is a great choice.
