This hotel welcomed us with open arms!!! From the minute we arrived they were very friendly and helpful, check in was so easy a quick. We pre booked dofferent experiences and ended up changing all the times but they did this very easily and still we managed to do everything we wanted to. The resturant staff were super friendly and it was so nice being able to just walk across to eat at night times. It's a very quiet hotel with beautiful surroundings and the rooms are second to none.

The Westin, Cape Town, is an old hotel, but it continues to maintain its presence, quality, and some high standard in Cape Town. We stayed here for 8 days, during a friend's 60th birthday celebration event in Cape Town. We occupied an executive room and were also given access to the executive club on the 19th floor. The room was very nice, with good linen, bed of high standard. That said, we had to lodge a complaint on the hurried nature of how our room was cleaned on our second day of stay. The bed was not made properly, the carpet floor wasn't clean, and the bathroom was half cleaned. It's not good for a 5-star hotel. After complaining, the housekeeper made amends, and the cleaning standard was raised to the highest standard for the duration of our stay. We also ordered food from room service and half of what we ordered were not brought - they gave us something else, but after waiting for 45 mins for the original order to be brought to us we reluctabtly accepted the wrong order, ate the food and then lodged our complaints later. The breakfast buffet was alright, but there weren't great selections of cold meats in the cold meat section. They really need to improve on this. Lastly, the overall service delivery by some of the staff really need serious improvement. Some of the staff in the restaurant are way too loud when talking to each other, and some of them even give out bad unwelcoming and nonchalant attitude/vibe to their customers. It is like they feel that they're doing us, their clients, a favour by serving us. Not good enough for a hotel of this standard, abd some of those staff need to be retrained. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at The Westin and we will definitely come back there when next we visit Cape Town.

Большой красивый номер со всеми удобствами (телевизор с netflix, капсульная кофемашина, сейф, даже компьютер). Хороший wifi, шумоизоляция. Из небольших минусов - в номере пахло сыростью. Убирались каждый день. Очень приятный персонал. Вид на океан только боковой из-за расположения отеля. Расположение отеля хорошее, на расстоянии 5-10 минут большой фудкорт и торговый центр. В 2 минутах набережная. Немного смутило, что если оставлять ключ на ресепшн, то он там лежит весь день на стойке не спрятанный, при этом ресепшн расположен сразу после ресторана и никакого контроля нет, то есть каждый может зайти и взять ключ от вашего номера, поэтому ключ стали забирать с собой. Завтрак очень вкусный, предлагают на выбор меню, из которого вы выбираете основное блюдо, также делают вкусный кофе, свежевыжатый апельсиновый сок и свежевыпеченные мафины. Единственный момент - завтрак начинается в 7.30 и готовят его довольно неспешно, так что готовьтесь выйти с него не раньше 8.15/8.30 утра. Но неспешность это в целом про всю Африку)

Lovely stay at Pepperclub - recommended. We chose to celebrate a big milestone in South Africa to create some very special memories. We toured from Joburg, through Nambiti to Durban and then onto Cape Town, and we booked Pepperclub to have a pampered end to our trip. The location is great, near Bo Kaap, local markets and safe to walk around. We had no problem getting where we needed to go. The hotel is very clean including the communal areas, gym and of course the rooms. However, housekeeping was more 4* - simple requests like extra blankets needed to be chased, and the turndown of the room happened every day but was inconsistent (sometimes the bathroom was cleaned and restocked, sometimes not). Similarly, the service was inconsistent even through the reception/concierge was always well staffed - Godfrey always greeted us enthusiastically, and there was another duty manager that was very diligent and followed-up well. However, when Godfrey was not on shift the welcome was more muted, and the staff on reception weren't exactly warm and not always efficient. Restaurant staff were always very warm and friendly. Breakfast was great - with good selection of buffet and a la carte options served swiftly. Lunch options were good too, and room service was efficient. Spa was excellent with very good massages and treatments. The Gym is good, though a little small, and for clarity the pool is not heated (but is beautiful). We didn't get a chance to try the private Odeon cinema, but they only had older movies not the newer ones found at public Odeon cinemas. Great views of Table Mountain and Lions Head from the rooms. The hotel were able to grant our special requests of early check-in, inter-leading rooms and they dressed the room and provided cake and bubbly to celebrate our anniversary - lovely touches. You won't regret your stay, but you may not be compelled to stay again.

Kokemuksemme tässä hotellissa meni yli ja ylitse luonnonvaraisimmille odotuksillemme! Hotellin hieno sijainti tarjoaa sinulle parveke näkymä merta ja majesteettista Table Mountain taustalla. Saimme todella poikkeuksellisen palvelutasoa, joten olemme hyvin vaikutteita. Huoneet olivat huomattavasti puhtaita ja tarjottujen tilojen valikoima oli enemmän kuin lahjakas. Huoneissa itsessään on täydellinen tasapaino tilavuuden ja kodin välillä, luomalla todellisen kutsuva ilmapiiri. Huomattava ominaisuus, joka asettaa tämän hotellin erilliseksi, on kiitollinen minibaari, joka tarjoaa erilaisia snacks ja juomat – harvinainen löytö. Mitä vieläkin huomattavaa on, että nämä snacks ovat paitsi herkullisia, myös ravintoa vegan ja gluteenittomia etuja. Epäilemättä olemme jo suunnittelemassa palauttamista tähän erinomaiseen laitokseen tulevaisuudessa.

Staff were very friendly. The room was comfy, but not the cleanest & things were painted over to seem new. However, it was clear the hotel is in need of some TLC. Overall, it was okay for a short stay. I don't think I could've stayed there longer than a day or two.

Great Stay for a Convenient & Comfortable Airport Stopover I stayed at Hotel Verde for just one night to catch my early flight, and it was the perfect choice. The location is incredibly convenient, and the shuttle service was punctual and easy to find ~ making my airport transfer stress-free. My room was very comfortable, and I was lucky enough to have a lovely view of Table Mountain, which was a nice bonus! The restaurant exceeded expectations ~ both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the service was excellent. The staff and shuttle drivers were all friendly and accommodating, which made my short stay even more pleasant. Considering the free shuttle, complimentary breakfast, and overall sense of safety (especially important as a solo traveler), the price was definitely worth it. I’d happily stay here again before a flight and would recommend it to other travelers looking for comfort and convenience.

The duty Manager, Victoria, was great and very accommodating. It was our wedding anniversary and Victoria accommodated our request for a view facing Table Mountain. We were very happy about that. The housekeeping staff were brilliant, always smiling and joyful to all guests making them feel welcome. In terms of the restaurant/breakfast area, it was quite disappointing as we noticed some guests receiving more attention than others, and at times, felt as though we were ignored and invisible. Unfortunately, on our last day, we bit into a sharp and hard piece of what seemed like bottle plastic in the food from the buffet section. When alerting the restaurant staff, they did not really seem bothered about the danger it had should we have swallowed it.

This hotel is in the centre of the CBD. It’s closer to many local amenities and long street. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a variety of options and the restaurant is open until very late at night and has local and international cuisines like Korean short rib and Vietnamese spring roll. The rooms are very clean and spacious. They have The Grotto Spa within the hotel which I highly recommend. I definitely would suggest you check it out if you plan to visit Cape Town.

Great team with amazing hospitality. I always stay here in CPT due to price and proximity to CBD. The rooms are a bit plain, but the beds are comfortable and bathrooms are adequate. Definitely feel safe with 24 hour security. Best value I've found in the area.
