"If you love panoramic views over a lake, you will love Pangarh Lake Resort. Nestled at the foot of what seems like a steep rock face, we reached the resort. We were greeted by welcome drinks and shown to our beautiful lakeside cabin built from repurposed and recycled materials. Our simply but tastefully decorated cabin was spotless with a spacious modern bathroom and outside verandah stretching out over the lake. Cuisine was amazing, we tried fox nuts for the first time, they are delicious and a super food - the owner/manager learned we enjoyed them and they appeared at every meal time. Also, do not miss the fresh sweet water fish! And talking about water, the swimming pool is lovely too! Evening drinks are a real treat, taken outside with spectacular views. There are super friendly Labrador dogs on the property, they accompany guests on tours to the nearby ruined Pangarh Fort (Lotus Fort) - also don’t miss the Sati graveyard. We left the property relaxed and refreshed - having received the highest quality of guest service. Don’t expect room service - but expect to have a wonderful time away from the business of daily life Oh, and I nearly forgot - ask to visit the ancient cave paintings - you see one in the attached pics"
