I had an exceptional experience during my six-night stay at this five-star hotel, and I especially commend Manager Lee for his outstanding service. His professionalism, attention to details made our stay truly memorable. He makes us feel genuinely welcome and valued. The housekeeping service was equally impressive. They were attentive to our needs and even added bed rails to ensure our child’s safety, which was a thoughtful and family-friendly touch. Every detail, from the cleanliness of the room to the personalized care, exceeded our expectations. Thanks to Manager Lee and the fantastic team, we left with wonderful memories. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking impeccable service, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere!

I chose this hotel as I was captivated by the lights and the night scene. It's within the ancient city. It took around 1 hr from the international airport to this place. Room was available and I was able to check in 9am plus. Room was as shown, traditional and beautiful including the whole hotel compound. It's like entering a work of art. The decoration was tastefully done and I love the vibes. However, the compound Jimo Ancient city is deserted and shops were mostly closed and nothing to shop. In the evening, it's like a ghost town, nothing at all. Hotel is at East and we had to go leave the compound to get food and shopping in nearby areas; within walking distance of 30 mins. As the weather was cool, the walk was enjoyable.

Great hotel with an excellent location and delicious breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Alina at the front desk, who provided outstanding service. Highly recommended!

Overall the hotel staff and service are 4 star. What makes the hotel 5 Star are the rooms and facilities. It is clean, safe, and well maintained. To be fair, I did arrive in early April during the off-season but I was not impressed with the service provided. Staff was consistently difficult to find, or would be crowded all in the lobby. Check-In and Check out was easy and the staff are very nice. International guests be aware, few to no staff speak English or communicate in any other language. The breakfast was not good. Cold and hard food, empty plates, drinks and foods not being refilled, and then having the lights turned off after breakfast was finished being served. Few selections, mainly cheap foods and breads. There are no staff outside, during my time there. No bell hops, no one to guide you to the front desk (Because it is not easy to find at first), no one to help with your luggage. A single staff member stands at the front of the lobby after you enter to greet you. Positives - The room was spacious and very clean. It had most things I needed and the quality of the room and bathroom was excellent. The balcony looked over the courtyard and the ocean which people can see you if you go out but was a nice addition. The island the hotel is on has everything close by and most taxis/Didi’s will pick you up within five minute The area has been developing for many years and is getting better each year. The Qingdao Beer Festival ground are close by (about 30 minutes drive) during the summer, but most activities are in the city about one hour drive away for the rest of the year. For this hotel, the room and facilities are the focus as they are well taken care of and maintained. I am not sure if I would return.

Amazing stay The hotel is behind the Intercontinental hotel, right in the marina. It’s close to 4th May square. We have had a family room as it’s 6 of us and it was still great. The only thing is that’s only one shower, but we managed. The room is on 2 floors, upstairs big bedroom with a double bed and a toilet and downstairs one double bed a one single bed. The breakfast was nice, my kids loved it. Really great value for money. And the staff was very nice, very attentive to our needs. There’s also a Landry room, the hotel provided us with the detergent, free of charge. Totally recommend the place !!

I would like to give a round of applause to this great hotel located next to airport as it showed good convenience for anyone who wishes to transit or stay for a vacation at Qingdao, China. Also, i would like to give a warm thank you to the receptionist at the time when I arrived at the hotel. Her name is “Even”, and she was ever so polite, kind and always smiling which made feel so welcome. She made my experience at the hotel very satisfying as she was very informative about the facilities and services the hotel had to offer its guests. I believe that wonderful staff deserves every credit for treating me like one of China’s own people. P.S. thank you so much Grand Barony Hotel for taking good care of me during my stay!

Minulla oli erittäin miellyttävä oleskelu InterContinental Qingdaossa. Hotellissa on tyylikäs ympäristö ja täydelliset mukavuudet, jotka tarjoavat asiakkaille mukavan ja rentouttavan tunteen. Erityiskiitokset Hannalle Guest Relationsista ja Lu Yangille Housekeepingistä, joiden huomaavainen palvelu teki vierailustani sujuvamman ja nautinnollisemman. Olivatpa kyse sitten huoneen yksityiskohdista tai hotellin tarjoamista erilaisista palveluista, olen erittäin tyytyväinen. the hotel is not bad for 3 stars. there are comments about the cleanliness of the carpets in the room and the quality of service. The reception staff does not speak English. The buffet is mainly organized for lovers of Chinese cuisine. but for lovers of European cuisine there is also something to eat.

前台小姐姐服務很好，周到，幫忙免費升級房間，設施也很齊全，衞生也很好，地理位置不錯，買東西很方便，下次還會再來。床睡得非常舒服，早餐簡單但是味道很好，特別喜歡這家的裝修風格，很有氛圍感，拍照片張張出片兒，愛了愛了！交通方便，還很乾凈！我要推薦給我的朋友們~
