Fuchun mountain resort is strongly recommended for foreigners like our family. Peaceful Lake with awesome landscape made our family to feel refreshing. Chinese traditional style hotel room is quite cozy. Complementary service like taking a picture by photographer is to be made a reservation when check in, otherwise fully booked in case of weekend.

It was very relaxing and comfortable in 3 days in this hotel. Nature around hotel was good , especially， hotel crews was nice and good attitude I definitely will visit again and recommend to all of you. 감사합니다😄

We really enjoyed the hotel stay so much. Theres free pickup service from the high speed rail.The room is spacious and clean. The staff members here are also very helpful. Washing machines and dryers are available. Breakfast selection is great. Supper and afternoon tea were provided as well. Will definitely choose this hotel again the next time we come Hangzhou.

It was overall an alright stay, don’t expect Japanese standards. Apparently they had a soft opening period and just opened on April 15. You can see that things aren’t running so smoothly yet, trip.com shows that spa needs to be booked a day in advance, but on WeChat they said no reservations required and we can use anytime. The second day we wanted to use the spa our second time, and was told by a staff we couldn’t use it again, which we were confused about. Later other staff said we could. The spa itself had spectacular views, but the outdoor pool weirdly had half eaten and rotten apples floating around. After talking to the spa staff they said it was for aesthetic purposes and guests must have eaten them without knowing that. Worrying hygiene standards 😨 apart from that overall hygiene seems to be alright. All rooms have our own private courtyard so there are two doors, the main wooden door and then the glass door to our actual room. The main wooden door broke down twice - we couldn’t lock it (more like they didn’t fix the problem fully the first time), which wasted our time as we had to sit around to watch the maintenance staff fixing our door. Breakfast was okay but half the dishes were way too salty for my taste. Weird mix of “Western”, “Japanese” and Chinese dishes. Cheaper to buy on the spot (168 yuan as of today). Service was not up to the standard of a hotel of this price point. The staff welcoming us seems like she was reading from a script, we couldn’t hear half the time even after asking her to enunciate clearer twice. Felt like they were here to monitor us more than take care of us. Instead of “how may I help you?”, they actually responded “what’s wrong?” on two separate occasions. I don’t think this is acceptable! Some staff also do not greet guests properly.

I went to this hotel due to the hype if the Chinese drama and was also attracted by the extra perks they provide. I signed up for the complimentary photoshoot (1 outfit & 3 photos), you can top for makeup & additional photos. The makeup artist was skillful, the photographer was also professional and patient. Overall hotel service was good, Chloe from the reception provider her WeChat for us to contact her if there's any issue. A wide variety of breakfast spreads, the decorations and plating makes the food look appealing. The only downside is the location. As it is at the Xiang hu, it is far from the xihu and most tourist attraction spots. Travelling from the hotel to xi hu area can take up to almost 1hr during the peak hour.

Beautifully located hotel, with great views and access to Qiandaohu. Amazing service by Intercontinental Experience Ambassador Klein, who was able to help with any requests needed. Children loved the services available including electric cars, train, indoor play area. The only area I would say needs some improvement is food choices for children. Very limited choices for what they could eat.

I cannot even begin to describe how happy this hotel made me — staying in banyan tree hangzhou was the highlight of our trip and I am SO relieved I didn’t let reviews complaining about the “cost effectiveness” or other trivial details like “no Dyson hairdryer” (i think there actually was) or “sliding door could not close properly” (it could), or “no smart toilet bowl” sway me from booking this hotel. It is incredible! My mom and I loved our stay here so much! Every square inch of the hotel was gorgeous. There’s few things in life more pleasurable than sitting in a beautiful jiangnan villa, watching the rain drizzle while eating fruits. We received complimentary longjing tea, fruits and desserts during our stay. The bed was also very comfortable — and absolutely enormous (see picture for reference). Location - Nestled in beautiful Xixi wetlands, the hotel’s location is perfect for people looking to unwind. It’s great for visiting Xixi wetlands — Gao Zhuang and the surrounding tourist villages are stunning — but also a pretty good to go to the West Lake from. Xixi wetlands is not too far from the west lake, and it has the added benefit of allowing you to avoid the atrocious traffic that plague the West lake scenic area. The breakfast was spectacular — a genuine high-quality spread that was fresh and delicious. My mom and I are picky eaters but enjoyed everything there. The service was also impeccable. The reception and the buggy drivers were helpful and kind. Special thanks to 36设施 Mia Cui and Angel Song for making our stay so enjoyable ❤️ The service at breakfast was also great. Thanks to one of the uncles working at banyan tree (whom I shall not namej), I avoided scams and managed to buy authentic xihu longjing tea from the longjing village village committee 龙井村村委 — priceless advice. I’ve only ever received false recommendations from hotel staff (in other hotels) and from taxi drivers, and this is the first time I actually got solid honest advice on where to get authentic tea (which I verified with the government site on a QR code), so it definitely made my impression of staff quality at banyan tree even better. We enjoyed the complimentary banyan tree incense and essential oils — and bought some home from the gift shop. Room for improvement - the quality of the food on the boat ride we opted for could be improved. The boatman was really friendly but the ride in a small swamp was underwhelming, and it was unfortunate that the food could not save it or distract us from the underwhelming view. It is advisable to bring your own food and go to the inner reservoirs at the west lake (乌龟潭 route) to enjoy a more scenic 2 hour 摇橹船 boat ride there. We considered this a perfect stay regardless. Next time I come back to hangzhou, I will stay here again.

Hotel is situated very near to the shores of the famous West Lake. You'll reach it in less than 8 minutes walk from the hotel reception entrance. It's quiet and is actually part of a purpose built housing estate for the local residents. A lovely quiet and peaceful compound. Staff are efficient, courteous and well presented. We got an lovely upgrade to a suite, which we weren't expecting. HUGE room with lounge and office space. Great in-room facilities: delonghi kettle, Nespresso machine, great toiletries from L’Occitane and a platter of fresh fruit on arrival. Bed was comfy and bathroom was amazing. We were only there for one night but we would definitely rrturn for thaf. I would, however, I would probably give the breakfast and dinner package a miss. It didn't have the same quality as the impression that hotel wants to give. For me it tasted like pre-prepared and then re-heated food. It was well presented but lacking in proper freshness. Breakfast again well presented but not the greatest quality. In a nutshell, location great, room great, food package... Not so. Would return!

我是很少寫點評的，但是這家酒店真的讓我太難忘，從進入酒店那一刻，就被美，安靜，舒服包圍，內心剎那平靜，一切都是那麼和諧。我住了三天，沒有出過酒店的大門，做了Spa,上了神奇的療愈課，做SPA的春春手法極好，加上儀器一起，真的很棒，很放鬆；療愈課一個小時，我感覺就二十分鐘，其中大概頌缽聲中睡著了，酒店的素食凈化我們的身體，一個人安靜的欣賞每個角落，或者在露台上泡杯茶看看湖面釣魚的人兒，一切都那麼平靜，太棒了，打算一月來住一次了。對了，感謝酒店的每一位工作人員，老公當中要坐高鐵，酒店竟然免費接送，司機熱情周到，太感謝了

Besides being at the prime location of the west lake next to the mall and red train shuttle, there’s nothing great with this Hyatt. It’s expensive compared to banyan tree that I stayed the next day. They booked my elderly parents with mobility issues in a room that is super far away from the elevator despite me putting it in my request during booking and when I checked in. They also don’t allow executive lounge customers to have breakfast downstairs which is unusual as Hilton, Marriott don’t have such restrictions. My lake view room is blocked by trees 🌲. Don’t waste your money here.
