I recently stayed at the Arianna Hotel in Singapore, and it was a mixed experience, with both pros and cons worth noting.
Pros:
Location: The hotel is in Little India, an area known for its rich cultural vibe, amazing street food, and convenience. It’s close to the MRT (public transportation), which makes exploring Singapore easy and affordable.
Affordability: For Singapore, where accommodation can get pricey, Arianna Hotel is a budget-friendly option, making it ideal for those who want to save on lodging and spend more on experiences.
Basic Amenities: The rooms come with essentials such as air conditioning, a television, and complimentary Wi-Fi. They’re compact but have most of what you’ll need for a short stay.
Cons:
Room Size and Comfort: The rooms are quite small, which may not be suitable for families or guests looking for a spacious area. There isn’t a lot of space to move around, and the furniture feels a bit outdated.
Cleanliness: While the rooms were generally clean, I noticed that some areas, like the bathroom and flooring, could use more attention.
Noise Levels: Since it’s located in a busy area, there can be a bit of street noise, especially at night. It wasn’t too bothersome, but light sleepers may want to consider bringing earplugs.
Final Verdict: Arianna Hotel is a decent option for budget travelers, solo explorers, or anyone who values location and affordability over luxury. If you’re in Singapore for a short stay and don’t mind a simple setup, it gets the job done. However, if you’re looking for a more upscale experience or ample space, you might want to explore other options.
Overall, a solid 3 out of 5 for comfort and value!
