"Had a truly welcoming stay at New World Shenyang. From the door greeters to the lobby and floor staff, everyone was extremely polite and enthusiastic. The front desk even gave us a room upgrade. Although it wasn't official heating season yet and it felt a bit chilly, the hotel promptly sent up a Dyson fan heater. The breakfast had a great view and a wide variety of choices, making for a relaxing weekend meal while enjoying the scenery. The only downside was the bath amenities—they weren't name-brand and the quality was really quite average."

"We drove for 3 hours and arrived at the hotel at 8 PM, planning to have a good time in Shenyang the next day. My husband and I brought our two children, and we booked a triple family room. After checking in and getting into the room, we found that only two sets of amenities were provided. So, I communicated with the WeChat butler and the front desk to request additional amenities. And that's where the endless torment began. I told them we were missing one set of amenities, and they only brought one toothbrush. Then I reminded them that slippers were also missing, and they only brought slippers. After that, I asked them to add an extra quilt and pillow, and they only brought a quilt core and a pillow core. So, I had to tell them again to help put on the duvet cover and pillowcase. It was truly exhausting. Most importantly, when we were about to sleep that night, we discovered a resonant noise. At first, we thought it was the air conditioner, but after checking, we found that there was a whole wall with a machine running and vibrating inside. The hotel actually enclosed the operating equipment within the room, disguised with decorative panels. So, around 23:50, I reported it to the front desk. A male staff member from the front desk came up and said he would resolve it. Then, we waited in the room like 'owl-watchers' for him to resolve the issue. 20 minutes passed, and I messaged him on WeChat asking how much longer it would take, but he didn't reply. 35 minutes later, I called the front desk, and they said they would help find him, but there was no further news. 45 minutes passed, and it was 00:45 AM the next day. I went to the front desk myself and found that the male staff member was casually hanging out with the female staff member who had previously helped me on the phone, as if nothing had happened. I asked how my problem would be solved. After nearly another hour, the male staff member finally spoke to me, saying they could arrange a king-size bed room for us at an 80% discount. I asked, 'There are four of us, and only one king-size bed room?? Are you kidding me?' Then they said the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing they could do. So, I called the consumer hotline to complain. Suddenly, they 'discovered' that there were actually two king-size rooms available, and they were adjacent rooms that could be given to us. Haha, it was 1 AM, and our family of four could finally sleep. However, we had a packed schedule for sightseeing the next day, and it was impossible to get good rest at this hotel. I can say that this trip to Shenyang was a particularly bad experience. The entire service was unprofessional; they handled problems untimely, shirked responsibility, and were unwilling to resolve issues. It's not just a lack of service awareness; it's zero service awareness from eLong Hotel. Furthermore, throughout this whole ordeal, no one from eLong Hotel apologized or offered compensation for the inconvenience caused by their service and quality issues. Isn't hotel service the fundamental basis for a hotel's survival?"

"On October 3rd, I booked and prepaid 511 yuan through Ctrip for a one-night stay. After my family and I checked out on the 4th, the hotel urgently called to ask if I could come to the front desk to pay. I immediately canceled my travel plans for that day and returned to the hotel. Three front desk staff checked the hotel's system and demanded I pay an additional 1146.18 yuan for the October 3rd room fee (payment record shown in Figure 1 below). Later, I contacted Ctrip customer service. After Ctrip communicated with the hotel, they confirmed that I had already completed the payment through the Ctrip platform, and it was the hotel's mistake that overcharged me. However, the hotel did not proactively offer a refund at this point; instead, they asked Ctrip to ask which platform's payment I wanted refunded from. Only after I asked Ctrip to contact the hotel again did the front desk process my refund. This demonstrates the hotel staff's extremely limited familiarity with their duties. Because of the hotel's mistake, my precious National Day holiday was interrupted by a day, and I lost several yuan on travel tickets. If I had booked this room for a client or friend, they might have been too embarrassed to confirm with me whether they had prepaid, inevitably leading to a significant misunderstanding that could affect work and relationships. What's even more disappointing is that the hotel never directly apologized to me, and the manager seemed to be nonexistent, offering no management or service remedial action. Furthermore, the hygiene conditions of the newly opened hotel are shown in Figures 2-3 below."

"Overall, the stay was quite good. The hotel facilities are relatively new, the room comfort is excellent, the gym is well-equipped, and the breakfast variety and quality are impressive. The service was also quite satisfactory. However, the biggest issue currently affecting the experience is parking. The hotel's parking lot isn't very convenient, making it a bit troublesome to park and enter/exit if you're driving. Also, because the hotel is new, some surrounding areas are still under renovation, making the environment look a bit messy. This temporarily impacts the overall aesthetic. Aside from that, I was generally pleased with everything else, especially the hotel facilities, gym, and breakfast, which are all commendable. If the renovations are completed and the parking situation improves, the overall experience should be much better. The location near Zhongjie Street makes it convenient for getting around and shopping. Overall, it's still worth staying at."
