"This was my first stay at the Haiyun Jinjiang Hotel. I found it on Ctrip, and the reviews looked pretty good, so I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, the service was exceptional. On my second day, as I was heading from my room to the restaurant for breakfast, I felt a bit chilly and casually wondered aloud if I should go back for a jacket. Li Si overheard me and promptly led me to a semi-enclosed booth where the air conditioning wasn't as strong. Soon after, Alice Liu Dan, the restaurant manager, offered me a hot drink. Her service was both professional and incredibly thoughtful. She was constantly busy in the restaurant, attending to every guest with great dedication. She even gave me a small gift when I left! [Gift] The breakfast selection was also excellent, with a good balance of meat and vegetables, and very nutritious."

"This was the worst hotel stay I've ever experienced. The soundproofing in the room was terrible. In the middle of the night, the people in the next room were drinking and throwing things around. I called multiple times, but no one did anything about it, so I barely got any sleep. Then, after checking out, they didn't even issue an invoice. In over ten years of business travel, this is hands down the absolute worst, most miserable experience I've ever had. A definite one-star review."
