"This hotel is hilariously bad… In a nutshell, great facilities but terrible service. 1. I asked the hotel to wash a pair of pants. I double-checked with the front desk, and they confirmed it would be delivered to my room before 6 PM. When I got back at 6:30 PM, it wasn't there. At 7:30 PM, I went downstairs only to find the pants at the front desk… no one ever brought them up. 2. When I returned to my room at 6:30 PM, I noticed that while the room was tidied, the toilet paper hadn't been replenished. Thinking I needed other amenities, I scanned the QR code on my phone to request them. The QR code actually worked today (unlike yesterday), but an hour after I made the request, nothing was delivered. Remembering the ridiculous experience on the phone yesterday, I went downstairs to the front desk to get them. Even then, it took another 15 minutes for them to be brought up. 3. The boiled eggs at breakfast weren't even cooked through – the egg whites were still runny… This really confirms it's a hotel with no service. The only positives: great location and newly renovated."

Hyvää ciffeea myös kohtuuhintaan. Barin henkilöstö on erittäin ystävällinen. "******* the host was super friendly and attentive. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. However, the bedroom had just a bed (very big and comfy), two tiny bedside units, and a mirror on the floor. There was no storage of any sort so be prepared to live out of a suitcase. Instead of a waste bin, there was a small plastic bag. The shared bathroom had a bath but no shower, not even inside the bath. The house is in a busty residential area with large new townhouses, so parking can be difficult. ******* said that he will add to the furniture and install a shower head but until that happens it is overpriced (£80) for a room with no en-suite."

"We came to stay with you on the 4th of July for a family wedding that was nearby. The room was nice and all the staff we had contact with were professional and pleasant. The guy who checked us in was lovely but unfortunately we didn't catch his name and the young lady behind the bar in the evening Bridy/Brady was so lovely professional and friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and appreciated. The other guy on the bar we only saw briefly but was also very friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel although the rooms were basic (which we expect for the money) the staff made it for us."

"We only visited the bar and did not stay overnight but I can honestly say we’ve never had such a welcome as we did there. There was a gang of us from North Wales staying local for my brothers 60th and decided to go out for the afternoon Aug bank holiday Sunday and boy were we glad we did. Seriously all the staff and locals could not go enough to welcome us and to ensure we had a great time. I. Met some lovely characters outside and learnt more about the local area. Ellie was amazing and allowed me access to the disabled toilet as I was struggling with a limb complaint. The pub was so busy as live music was on during the afternoon but we never waited long at the bar as they were so efficient. The beers was a fab pint and they even arranged taxis back for us all. It was lovely to have a brief chat with Jackie who again couldn’t have made us feel more welcome if she tried. Great afternoon of beer, laughter, chatter, horse racing, music……. What more could we have all asked for!!! Thank you all so much and fingers crossed we will be back to see you one day!!! 🤞"

Greater attention is required to cleanliness, particularly in the bathroom about the shower edges, the wash basin plug hole was particularly grubby. The faux leather headboard was badly worn and marked and although the bedding was clean, the state of the headboard was a quite off-putting. The addition of t/coffee making facilities syndrome would have made the stay a little better."

The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet in lovely grounds. We had 4 rooms with our party which were booked at a reasonable price and 2 were upgraded on arrival which was a bonus. The staff were friendly and welcoming especially the lady on reception. Would happily stay here again"
