"Called for a few drinks on Saturday evening to see what the new management team is like after hearing it had been taken over, noticed a huge difference in the cleanliness and tidiness of the place just walking in, the place was spotless. Was greeted by two lovely ladies Mel and Poppy who were pleasant and friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, we could of sat all evening talking to them it was so relaxing and friendly. Keep up the good work ladies and all the best going forward, we will be going back plenty of times in the future."

"Popped in to the royal Oak for a couple of drinks while in settle. Very disappointing visit luckily we didnt want food as most things on the menu weren't available and I could hear the barmaid telling people they couldn't book a meal as they didn't have much left so probably closing the kitchen early, while swigging from her bottle of DR Pepper. The toilets must have had a burst pipe so the carpet was sodden. Dirty nappy bags on the changer and the dirt below the hand dryer is disgusting. Really needs improving alot of people walked out and I'm not surprised."
