Hotel Kronenhof

Not to my liking Small (tiny) bathroom, mattress too soft, pillows too soft. Tiny elevator (1 person size). Breakfast was okay but not special. A lot to improve in my opinion.

Business travel Hotel is nice in a good location but internal noise is very loud for example people walking in rooms above, noise from adjoining rooms and even noise from kitchen. Additional pillows would improve comfort and toiletries such as hair conditioner and moisturiser would be nice.

Great Hotel in Schffhausen Very friendly and clean hotel. Wifi was very fast which I need for business. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We loved this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and we had a terrific view of Munot. The town is absolutely charming and we enjoyed walking around everywhere — including to the Munot and the falls (about a 45-minute walk). The only negative point was that the bathroom door (a sliding door) did not close all the way and there was a bit of a crack so it was hard to be a bit discrete! We will stay here again when we return.

The hotel is located about a 10 minuet walk from the train station through the pretty town.The area is quiet ,There is a car park to the front and the church next door that seems to have quiet bells.Rooms at the font have a nice view of the Munot ( Fort ) and across the old town. There was no shortage of staff all very friendly and professional. Breakfast was fairly good with cold meats & cheeses etc. The bread was very nice and they had a good variety. The room I had 302 was at the front and fairly spacious with good light. There was no noise from outside and it was warm & comfortable.The only downside I could find was the noise from the bathroom in the room next door. I think the bathrooms were an addition in an old hotel and they didn't put enough soundproofing in so you can hear what is going on in the bathroom. The restaurant is very good and the food tasty.Service was also good and in the bar too. I would defiantly recommend a stay at this hotel in a lovely town
