"I had a very enjoyable one night stay , spacious room , nice amenities like a fridge and coffee machine in the room. Very comfortable bed and quality bedding.AC was also welcome and the breakfast while expensive at €18 was nicely presented with sufficient choices and delicious bread and cheese selection.Direct access to the beach was lovely from the gate at the end of the well looked after garden.No problem with parking and there was a heated swimming pool.Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Things that could be better , WiFi signal was poor to non existent, no other channels on the TV other than terrestrial TV , even though the You tube apps etc were loaded they were not accessible. Not a fault of the hotel but it would certainly influence my decision to revisit the area in the future was the fact that my little dog was unable to access any beach.Forbidden , April to September 🥲."

"We stayed for some days at the Hotel Hermitage in Royan and i liked the location and room, but we didn‘t sleep well or long enough due to the loud buzzing noises of the air cons in the rooms of other guests and the deep drone in the mornings from the elevator as we had a room not far from it. The hotel advertises free parking spots but the hotel hasn‘t parking spaces of it‘s own and the parking spots just behind the hotel are in the blue zone (max 1 to 1.5 hours stay possible) so you have to hunt for a free parking spot in town (best chances are around the cathedral). Avoid the hotel on weekends as young guests book just one or two nights to attend parties in town and they make a lot of noise in their room, but as there‘s no staff from 21:00 on you can‘t ask anybody to talk to the kids."

"Palasin vain viikon jäädä tänne. Asunnot olivat kauniita ja hyvin varustettu. Sänky oli hyvin mukava, ja iso. Kaikki näyttää olevan hyvin uutta. Se oli asunto 4 mutta vain 2 meistä oli paljon tilaa, Se olisi mukavaa 4. Henkilöstö oli erittäin hyödyllinen. Se oli hyvin hiljaa syyskuun alussa. Uima-allas on kunnollinen koko, jos nauttia uinnista, ei vain 3 lyöntejä ja teidän yli! Tilanne meille oli hyvä, 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä asemalta (matkailimme junalla) ja 3min kävely rannalle."

"Maybe because it is an old family hotel, the room is small, there is no elevator, and you have to carry your luggage upstairs. In fact, the room is very clean, but because the floor is tiled, it is not as dry and warm as a chain hotel. The white grandfather seems to be not very friendly to Asians. I will stay in a chain hotel next time. You can park at the door, but there may not be a space. It is close to the beach."
