"We had a truly lovely experience. Stayed for two nights and it was absolute perfection — the views, the atmosphere, the mountain air — everything was just right. The complimentary breakfast is simple but satisfying: congee, eggs, sausage, toast, and instant coffee or tea. We also ordered dinner both nights — highly recommend it! The hot pot + BBQ combo was incredible, and the other dishes were equally delicious. Make sure to have enough cash with you, the bbq is not to be missed!  Do note: the location is a bit remote, nestled high in the mountains, and the journey can be tricky. Google Maps directions are inaccurate, so be sure to follow the clearly marked signs leading to the homestay. "We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was impeccable, with the staff arranging transportation for us at the very last minute, and even contacted our next hotel stay for advance arrangements, which we sincerely appreciated. The weather was great in Jan, with fresh air from the nature. Managed to capture a breathtaking view of the full moon surrounded by stars. Breakfast was exceptional, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was serene and deeply relaxing. The Imperial Suite with a private onsen was exquisite. Highly recommended."

"Oh boyyyy.. the route to CR Farm Stay was long and winding!! Felt dizzy at some point. BUT, i enjoyed the journey as it is a scenic road drive that i don’t get to see back home. Once i’ve reached the place (the room that ive chosen), all that complaining disappears! The view was breathtaking, freshest air that i can breathe, coolest air that just calms me down and the symphony of the nature is just BEAUTIFUL! LOVE IT! A small cozy room, toilet is decent (perhaps you can do abit of deep cleaning, or using plant-based bleach 😅😬). But the view just makes everything acceptable! hehe The staffs were really friendly and punctual with their delivery of my dinner and breakfast! Overall, my stay with CR Farm Stay was beautiful and memorable! Thank you!! P.S. The picture I took doesn’t do the view justice, you have to experience it for yourself! 🤗"

"The hotel is beautiful, but it's built on a mountainside, so the buildings you need are spread out on a very steep road, so it's not easy to move around it. There are golf buggies that take you from place to place if you call them, but having to ask for a vehicle every time you want to go and eat or leave is quite annoying. The distances are walkable, but not if you have mobility issues. The pavements are also in far worse condition than the roads, so you end up walking on the roads and having to keep jumping out the way of the passing vehicles. Photos are attached of the view of the very steep road going up next to our balcony to show an example of the scale of the steepness. The location is remote. Apparently taxi apps like Grab and Bolt do not work here, although we did manage to quickly book a Bolt to take us here from Chiang Mai centre. A car and driver can be hired from the hotel for 2500 baht for 4 hours. I wouldn't recommend visiting if you don't have your own vehicle, as there is nothing nearby you can walk to. On check-in, the hotel said they offered room service, but there were no menus in the rooms. The room cleaning was slow if you are on a higher floor - on our 2 days, they didn't manage to visit all morning despite us leaving the ”please clean room” sign on the door. I found out later that you can ring reception to ask your room to be prioritised. The restaurant is expensive compared to central Chiang Mai, and they recommend that you reserve a table every night you want to eat there, but the food was good. Service was a bit chaotic. On the night we arrived, at 5:30 pm, reception told us they had reserved a table for us. But when we went to the restaurant, that did not seem to be the case, and we were taken to an unreserved table in a loud and echoey room. I then had to go up and ask to order as no-one came, and then the order was missing items when it did arrive. Randomly on the grounds near the lobby, there is a parrot in a tiny cage compared to its size with no entertainment, hardly any plants, and barely anywhere to perch. It's really sad to see."

"After arriving, I was immediately shocked by the picturesque environment. This resort is surrounding the lush green ladder rice padding field with a picturesque pond decorated with lotus flowers. You can enjoy on your private terrace the surrounding tranquility and the harmonious garden symphony from birds, roosters, frogs and the scents from blooming flowers. This is definitely a place worth resting away from the hustle and bustle of city life. In addition, the service team gave unfailing support to anything you need. Restaurant Kwau gave us memorable tastes of Thai foods. With the help of Khun Kuan, we enjoyed pleasant dining experiences and tasted delicious foods from different areas of Thailand. The Spa is also commendable! Their massage skill is unparalleled in downtown Chiang Mai. Joining Buffalo washing like a farmer is an unforgettable experience for people grow up in city!"

"There is no door for bathroom from master bedroom so it is very difficult to manage with 3 guest In night time some chocolate milk fall down by children on bedsheets so they charge us extra 300 thb for clean, this is ridiculous it should be in their service For breakfast there are no buffet, in the morning we order then they prepared some fixed menu by themselves it is also not so worthy as I paid extra 700-800 baht for breakfast of 3 people during booking They showed that it is buffet but not Sofa is not so clean"

"Highly recommended for Muslim travelers!!! We are a family of 5 with kids aged 18,13 and 10. This is our first time visiting this place. We came directly from the airport around 9pm, taxi fare was about 1500bht and the journey is about 1 hr. The moment we reached Mon View Ngarm, the weather was about 13 degrees!  We stayed at the Family Room (required a little hike from the check-in counter).  Check-in process is seamless and the staff guided us to our room.  The room is amazingly clean (no insects or even mosquitoes!) and the view in the morning is AMAZINGLY BREATHTAKING ! Halal Breakfast was simple for the 2 days we stayed. They had a little corner specifically for this and many other Muslim travellers were here too. Travelling around the area (if you have 5 pax) like me, I recommend you hire a private driver for the whole day (hotel can arrange for you) Mine cost about 1500bht. I’ll also recommend you to have Hotpot dinner at the breakfast restaurant in the hotel. It’s simple but it’s worth it to enjoy with the weather! Not all staff can speak English, so I have to use Google translate at times.  Overall, I couldn’t get enough of this place! Will definitely come back again to explore more. Don’t forget to bring proper clothing! Temperature will drop from late afternoon."

"It's a comfortable resort with sports facilities which we can use for free. Recommend to bring your own equipment. There is a gym room (although dated), two tennis courts, indoor badminton and pickle ball courts, squash courts, a snooker and a pool. We like to swim in the big swimming pool. The room is spotlessly clean. The mattress is too soft for me. The staff is helpful and nice. The buffet breakfast is simple but delicious. They provide Asian cooked dishes like rice, fried meat with vegetables. Also corn flakes with milk, toast, fruits and vegetable salad."
