"We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was impeccable, with the staff arranging transportation for us at the very last minute, and even contacted our next hotel stay for advance arrangements, which we sincerely appreciated. The weather was great in Jan, with fresh air from the nature. Managed to capture a breathtaking view of the full moon surrounded by stars. Breakfast was exceptional, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was serene and deeply relaxing. The Imperial Suite with a private onsen was exquisite. Highly recommended."

"We had a truly lovely experience. Stayed for two nights and it was absolute perfection — the views, the atmosphere, the mountain air — everything was just right. The complimentary breakfast is simple but satisfying: congee, eggs, sausage, toast, and instant coffee or tea. We also ordered dinner both nights — highly recommend it! The hot pot + BBQ combo was incredible, and the other dishes were equally delicious. Make sure to have enough cash with you, the bbq is not to be missed!  Do note: the location is a bit remote, nestled high in the mountains, and the journey can be tricky. Google Maps directions are inaccurate, so be sure to follow the clearly marked signs leading to the homestay. "Oh boyyyy.. the route to CR Farm Stay was long and winding!! Felt dizzy at some point. BUT, i enjoyed the journey as it is a scenic road drive that i don’t get to see back home. Once i’ve reached the place (the room that ive chosen), all that complaining disappears! The view was breathtaking, freshest air that i can breathe, coolest air that just calms me down and the symphony of the nature is just BEAUTIFUL! LOVE IT! A small cozy room, toilet is decent (perhaps you can do abit of deep cleaning, or using plant-based bleach 😅😬). But the view just makes everything acceptable! hehe The staffs were really friendly and punctual with their delivery of my dinner and breakfast! Overall, my stay with CR Farm Stay was beautiful and memorable! Thank you!! P.S. The picture I took doesn’t do the view justice, you have to experience it for yourself! 🤗"

"I really loved the service at NJ Homestay. Although the staff may not speak or understand English very well, we managed just fine using Google Translate. Our room’s toilet did give us some trouble during our stay — the water heater wasn’t working at first, and later the toilet had flushing issues, which continued throughout the two nights we were there. That said, I want to give a special shoutout to the staff, who were always patient and helpful, never hesitating to assist us with unclogging the toilet or checking the heater whenever there was a problem. The location isn’t the most convenient since it’s up in the mountains, but having a private driver made a big difference. Breakfast was included and it was great. As for cleanliness, it was acceptable considering the homestay is located in a mountainous area — some bugs are expected, and roosters start crowing as early as 3:30 a.m. Overall, the beautiful views, peaceful atmosphere, fresh air, and friendly staff and locals (Chiang Mai people are generally very warm and welcoming) made the stay worthwhile. I would definitely visit again."

"The hotel is beautiful, but it's built on a mountainside, so the buildings you need are spread out on a very steep road, so it's not easy to move around it. There are golf buggies that take you from place to place if you call them, but having to ask for a vehicle every time you want to go and eat or leave is quite annoying. The distances are walkable, but not if you have mobility issues. The pavements are also in far worse condition than the roads, so you end up walking on the roads and having to keep jumping out the way of the passing vehicles. Photos are attached of the view of the very steep road going up next to our balcony to show an example of the scale of the steepness. The location is remote. Apparently taxi apps like Grab and Bolt do not work here, although we did manage to quickly book a Bolt to take us here from Chiang Mai centre. A car and driver can be hired from the hotel for 2500 baht for 4 hours. I wouldn't recommend visiting if you don't have your own vehicle, as there is nothing nearby you can walk to. On check-in, the hotel said they offered room service, but there were no menus in the rooms. The room cleaning was slow if you are on a higher floor - on our 2 days, they didn't manage to visit all morning despite us leaving the ”please clean room” sign on the door. I found out later that you can ring reception to ask your room to be prioritised. The restaurant is expensive compared to central Chiang Mai, and they recommend that you reserve a table every night you want to eat there, but the food was good. Service was a bit chaotic. On the night we arrived, at 5:30 pm, reception told us they had reserved a table for us. But when we went to the restaurant, that did not seem to be the case, and we were taken to an unreserved table in a loud and echoey room. I then had to go up and ask to order as no-one came, and then the order was missing items when it did arrive. Randomly on the grounds near the lobby, there is a parrot in a tiny cage compared to its size with no entertainment, hardly any plants, and barely anywhere to perch. It's really sad to see."

"After arriving, I was immediately shocked by the picturesque environment. This resort is surrounding the lush green ladder rice padding field with a picturesque pond decorated with lotus flowers. You can enjoy on your private terrace the surrounding tranquility and the harmonious garden symphony from birds, roosters, frogs and the scents from blooming flowers. This is definitely a place worth resting away from the hustle and bustle of city life. In addition, the service team gave unfailing support to anything you need. Restaurant Kwau gave us memorable tastes of Thai foods. With the help of Khun Kuan, we enjoyed pleasant dining experiences and tasted delicious foods from different areas of Thailand. The Spa is also commendable! Their massage skill is unparalleled in downtown Chiang Mai. Joining Buffalo washing like a farmer is an unforgettable experience for people grow up in city!"
