"Great hospitality and service throughout my stay in Penang Amari Spice Hotel. Upon arrival, the reception team kindly upgraded me to a Premier King room without any request, which was a wonderful surprise. The room was spacious, clean, well-maintained, and had a pleasant scent—everything was excellent. I would like to express my utmost appreciation to the midnight team on 21/03/2026. During our stay, my friend suddenly fell seriously ill during midnight . We attempted to call emergency services (999), but unfortunately were unable to get through to the nearby general hospital immediately. The situation was critical, and waiting another 10–20 minutes could have put my friend’s life at risk. Thankfully, the Penang Amari hotel team acted swiftly and professionally. They followed up with us, and the female manager along with the guy management team arrived promptly to assess the situation. They provided immediate support and helped arrange transportation to the nearest hospital, ensuring we arrived within 10 minutes. Thanks to their quick response and care, my friend’s life was saved. And even after check out they still texting us to concern on the guest safety. We are deeply grateful for their kindness, efficiency, and dedication during such a critical moment. Wishing the entire team continued success and all the very best. Thank you once again for going above and beyond. Peharps this able to fully credit to the team."

"I stayed at this hotel for just one night, and it exceeded my expectations in several ways. One standout feature is the flexibility to extend your stay by paying a small additional fee—perfect for spontaneous plans or when you just need a few extra hours to unwind. The pricing is very affordable, making it a great value for budget-conscious travelers. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which added a warm touch to the overall experience. Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. Situated directly in front of a mall, the hotel offers high accessibility to shopping, dining, and entertainment options—all just steps away. Whether you're here for business or leisure, the convenience is unbeatable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a short, comfortable, and flexible stay in a prime location."

"Not maintain hotel Too many broken things : hair dryer, main door lock, shower hose. And shower gel is not refill and empty. And when i called reception at 10pm , nobody pickup. Its late because we reach the hotel late. Luckily there is qr that we can scan to ask for amenities. But when check out, i already address the issue, hope they fix it"

"Book a normal suite and the host is kindly enough to upgrade my booking to double queen suite, its spacious and has own parking"

"Stayed at Eastin Hotel Penang and had a pleasant experience overall. The location is convenient, especially for business travellers, with Queensbay Mall just next door. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice view. Staff were polite and helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast had a decent variety and tasted good. Overall, a comfortable and convenient hotel for both work and short leisure stays in Penang. The facilities and rooms could be improved with renovation, as some areas feel a bit dated."

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Penang Marjorie Hotel, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The standout feature of my stay was undoubtedly the kindness of the staff. Every interaction was marked by warmth and attentiveness, making me feel truly welcomed. The room itself was another highlight. It was spacious, well-appointed, and provided a comfortable haven to relax after a day of exploring. The attention to detail in the room's decor and amenities enhanced my overall experience. However, I did encounter some challenges during my stay. The elevator system was somewhat confusing, especially when trying to navigate to the 4th-floor car park. It often required multiple trips between our floor and the lobby. Additionally, I noticed the elevator lights would occasionally illuminate without actually moving, which added to the confusion. Another area for improvement is the pool service. I attempted to reach out via WhatsApp to request service, but unfortunately, I never received a response. This aspect of my stay was disappointing, as I had hoped for a more seamless experience while enjoying the pool area. In summary, while my stay at the Iconic Marjorie Hotel was enjoyable thanks to the wonderful staff and lovely room, I hope they can address the elevator issues and improve pool service for a smoother experience in the future. I would still recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Penang!"

"I recently stayed at the Olive Tree Hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. My room was spacious, modern, and—most importantly—spotlessly clean. I really appreciated the hotel's commitment to sustainability without compromising on comfort. Whether you're here for business or leisure, the location is perfect, with easy access to the SPICE Convention Centre and local eateries. Definitely my go-to choice in Penang!"

"Fantastic Family Holiday– Great Food and Perfect Location!” ”Our stay at Hotel Pen Mutiara was absolutely wonderful! One of the biggest highlights was the huge room we stayed in—it was incredibly spacious, making it perfect for the family, and remarkably clean from top to bottom. The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious; we particularly loved the Ikan siakap tiga rasa, which is a must-try for anyone visiting. After our meal, we spent a relaxing afternoon by the swimming pool, which was clean and well-maintained, providing a great escape from the Penang heat. The location is also unbeatable for sightseeing. It is located very near to the Aquarium Tunku Abdul Rahman (Fisheries Department Research Institute), which made our morning outing so convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent local flavors and easy access to nearby attractions!”"

"The location is suitable for people who are having task to do around the area, there is food from breakfast time to midnight supper around the area."

"Certainly! Below is a **detailed, balanced, and constructive review template** for **Hangoutspacez Queensbay** (or a similar budget/co-living space in Penang). Since this isn’t a widely documented property, I’ll structure it generically so you can adapt it based on your actual experience. --- ### **Hangoutspacez Queensbay – Honest Review** **Location: ★★★★☆** (4/5) - **Pros:** Close to Queensbay Mall (5–10 min walk), easy access to restaurants, supermarkets, and public transport. Convenient for business travelers (Bayan Lepas tech zone) or tourists exploring Penang’s south. - **Cons:** Not in the heart of tourist spots like George Town (requires Grab/taxi). **Cleanliness: ★★★☆☆** (3.5/5) - **Pros:** Daily cleaning for common areas; linens provided are fresh. - **Cons:** Occasional maintenance issues (e.g., slow drain in showers, worn-out furniture). Budget vibe—don’t expect luxury. **Facilities: ★★★☆☆** (3/5) - **Pros:** Free WiFi (decent speed), communal kitchen, and lounge area. Good for solo travelers or digital nomads. - **Cons:** No gym/pool; shared bathrooms can get crowded during peak hours. **Staff & Service: ★★★★☆** (4/5) - Friendly and helpful for local tips, but limited 24/7 front desk support. **Value for Money: ★★★★☆** (4/5) - Affordable for Penang (around RM50–100/night for dorms). Ideal for short stays, but may lack long-term comforts. **Room for Improvement:** 1. **Better Soundproofing** – Noise from common areas can be heard in private rooms. 2. **More Power Outlets** – Limited charging points in dorms. 3. **Clearer House Rules** – E.g., quiet hours or kitchen cleanup policies. **Verdict:** A **no-frills, social budget stay** best suited for backpackers, solo travelers, or those attending nearby events. Manage expectations—it’s functional but not luxurious. --- ### **How to Use This Review Constructively:** - **If You’re a Traveler:** Compare with alternatives (e.g., Tune Hotel, capsule hostels). Prioritize location vs. price. - **If You’re the Property Owner:** Address cleanliness/maintenance, add clear signage for rules and maybe create any accessible lockers available to utilize the space in the efficient manner."
