"Excellent location in Shaoguan. Next to the largest and newest mall. Hotel is new with an impressive arrival area. Breakfast. Good spread with good dim sum. They varied some the dishes ao that longer staying guests would have variety. Staff were pleasant and helpful in the dining hall Rooms. Nicely designed and quiet. Sheets are of great quality. Safe in room. Slippers provides. Conditioner for hair. Pillows were labeled and 2 firm ones and 2 soft ones provided. The only thing I can complain about is the headboard for the beds. It was visibly dirty. Amenities: indoor pool which we did not use. Gym with 3 treadmills and 1 elliptical and woke weights machines. Not bad overall but there was no water provided. Staff at reception: the older lady who served us when we checked in was excellent. She suggested places for us to go and was very enthusiastic about guiding us on top of sorting our check in details. The young male staff who attended to us when we checked out was unbelievably unhelpful and uninterested when we asked about a particular attraction. His answer was just no and don't know. Did not bother to help check with colleagues or make calls. This marred an otherwise good experience at Holiday inn. Conclusion Excellent hotel for the price point"

"I visited this place as once 11 years ago. Many things haven't changed, which was nostalgic. However, a lot of things seem to be run a lot more chaotically and haphazardly than before. Half of the pools are closed outside of busy times. The rooms are more worn down. Etc. Not as nice as it once was, but not terrible either."

"非常好的一次旅遊體驗，民宿前門雖然庭院不大，卻有回家的感覺，前台小姐姐給我們升級了親子房，還貼心的給我們山泉水泡茶，房間的佈局和衞生都很好，而且每個房間都有一個小陽台，晚上非常的安靜，窗外都是田野和翠綠的大山，空氣極好，值得推薦，餐廳出品相當的好，真的比農家餐廳更地道，好吃得忘記拍照了，五指毛桃土茯苓燉雞，還有他們自己種的石韭菜👍👍👍 去附近的景點也相當方便，雲門寺，南水湖濕地公園都很贊。"

"Amenities provided from the hotel were great like free shuttle to the train station, access to the spa baths and areas, breakfast and dinner buffet. Unfortunately the room we were given was a separate building all the way in the back of the resort where their employees live. No option for smoke free rooms on trip.com and per the front desk there were no other rooms available. A cart shuttle service allows transport to and from the room to the main building. Keep in mind this service ends after 12am. Room is older and has a moldy smell. Robes weren’t provided to us in the room to walk around the spa area with. There is a restaurant where you can order takeout but that closes around 11pm. 2 stars because of the free shuttle and access to spa pools."
