The location of the hotel is just by the River and easy to take nice pictures right from the hotel or in front of the hotel. Upon our arrival, the doorman immediately grabbed our bags and welcomed us. Although we told him that our bags are heavy and offered to take some of the luggage by ourselves, he insisted to help us and helped to carry everything inside. The reception staff did the check in quickly and also informed us of their hotel facilities and services. They told us that we have a complimentary professional photography session to have our photos taken. They also introduced the local tourist attractions and we took the river boat trip that evening, which was very pleasant and nice way to see Guilin during the evening. The following day we went for the photo taking sessions and we got some beautiful memorable pictures taken. Our room was very beautiful and large and we wish we would have had more time to stay. We even had a separate room for drinking tea which was so cozy. The breakfast restaurant is located on the top floor of the hotel so the guests can have a nice view of the surroundings. Upon our departure the reception staff asked how our stay had been and bid us farewell and they had prepared some very cute gifts for us. I highly recommend this hotel for anybody who would like to visit Guilin leisure. Perfect location, perfect service and facilities!

We stayed at JiYun Resort as two guests and had the most wonderful experience. From the moment before we even arrived, the team was already attentive and thoughtful. They noted that it was my birthday and surprised us with a cake, an extra gift, and even a hand drawn card. It was incredibly kind and meant so much to us. The front desk team was always on top of everything. They were responsive, proactive, and genuinely caring. The concierge support on WeChat was exceptional. No matter how small our question or request was, they answered quickly and clearly, which made everything feel easy and stress free for us as English speakers. Each evening, it was such a comfort to come back to a warm meal. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and it became something we really looked forward to after long days exploring. The location is also excellent with beautiful views and easy access to the village, which made getting around simple and enjoyable. We had to leave early in the morning and were unable to attend breakfast, but the team kindly prepared a breakfast to go for us. They also helped us arrange transportation and made sure everything was smooth. That level of care and support made us feel so looked after. Although we did not have time to try the resort experiences, our stay was still incredibly special. We slept very well after our days in the countryside and felt completely taken care of throughout. The entire staff, including the morning security team, were warm, kind, and welcoming. As first time visitors to a Chinese resort, we were a bit nervous, but the team made everything seamless. They helped us with communication even before the stay, provided rain gear when needed, and gave helpful advice on where to go. Their care and attention truly made this experience unforgettable. This stay made us fall in love with the region, and we would absolutely return. Thank you to the entire JiYun team for such a beautiful and thoughtful experience.

This hotel directly overlooks the picturesque Li River where you can witness the fishermen's bamboo rafts with their cormorants anchored to the promenade. It's a popular spot for tourists in their hired period costumes trying to achieve the most photogenic shot of Yangshuo's world-renowned karst mountains. The hotel's roof terrace on the fifth floor offers uninterrupted vistas of this stunning landscape. The hotel's buffet breakfast is great value for its price and comes highly recommended. The hotel rooms are spacious and even those which face inwards look out to a leafy courtyard with pretty fountains. The staff, from the chambermaids to the lady at the guest laundry, were all super helpful. Special thanks to Maya/沫沫 at the front desk who devised an excellent itinerary for our private excursion with a driver. Equally outstanding was Lacey/橙子, also at the reception. She was very accommodating to the multiple requests of hotel guests, and in a truly earnest rather than perfunctory manner. Both of them are assets to the service industry. The hotel's attention to detail in terms of its interior design is laudable : the concept of Yangshuo's landscape is visually captured throughout the hotel - from the nameplate at its entrance to the signage of the room numbers, they all feature symbolic silhouettes of those iconic karst mountains and the fishermen with their cormorants. One suggestion to the hotel's management is for them to provide an English language news channel on their television : in view of the increasing foreign clientele, it is indeed glaring that even their national CGTN news channel is not available.

Beautiful place, largest grass garden of a hotel that we have seen in a while, service was good too, many activities for kids. Food was mediocre though, and they could have done a lot more with the garden, animals, newyear eve celebration.

We’ve travelled all over the world and stayed in everything from budget hotels to some of the most well-known luxury brands, and we can honestly say this was the best hotel we’ve ever experienced. Everything about Liangsu Hotel in Yangshuo exceeded our expectations. The service from the staff was absolutely impeccable—everyone was so warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It didn’t feel forced or “hotel-like” at all, just very natural and thoughtful. They really go above and beyond to make your stay special. The room was something else. Waking up to that view every morning honestly felt unreal—it’s like living inside a painting. The design is beautiful and calming, and every detail in the room felt carefully thought out. It’s one of those places where you actually look forward to spending time in the room. One really unique touch we loved was the complimentary 30-minute travel photography session. It’s such a thoughtful experience, and the setting makes for incredible photos—you’re basically surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. It’s a small detail, but it made the stay even more memorable. The whole hotel has such a peaceful, dreamy atmosphere that makes it really hard to leave. It’s quiet, scenic, and just feels very special compared to a lot of other places we’ve stayed. We’ve stayed in many “luxury” hotels before, but this one stands out because it combines stunning design, nature, and truly genuine service. Highly, highly recommend—this place is something special. For us it's more than 5 stars!

Erinomainen kokemus! Täydellinen paikka rentoutumiseen ja oleskeluun Yangshuossa. Huoneet ovat valtavat ja tilat ovat huippuluokkaa. Tuntuu, että täällä voisi viettää useammankin päivän. Tarjolla on kuumia lähteitä, valokuvauspalvelua ja joogatunteja, mikä on todella hauskaa. Valokuvauspalvelun laatu oli yllättävän korkea, ja hotellin alueella on paljon kauniita paikkoja kuvaamiseen.

very good service, staff even helped to order delivery as we were unable to do so without a china phone number. the hotel had beautiful view!!! breakfast was not bad, but the items are the same everyday. hotel also provided free upgrade to the stargazing room which was huge and comfortable. awesome stay!! only thing is that there is no microwave.

Everything here was perfect! It was clean, very well located and, the staff was really nice and helpful. The view from the balcony and the rooftop is amazing as well! The staff even helped me rent an electric motorbike and recommended some nice places to eat! Would 100% recommend 💜

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff for such a warm welcome. I spent three wonderful days at the hotel, and the whole experience felt like a continuous spa retreat. I feel truly rested and refreshed. My room had a stunning view of the mountains, which made my mornings special. I also really appreciated that a massage and a tea ceremony were included in the price. Each session was filled with deep philosophical meaning, and I truly enjoyed them. I spent a lot of time within the hotel, so I’m grateful for the included activities. A special thank you for the delicious coffee! I noticed you use DeLonghi coffee machines—they really make a great cup of coffee. The breakfast menu was also very diverse and tasty. The only minor issue was with the hot water, as it took quite a long time to heat up. However, the staff handled it professionally and settled everything. Thank you for a soul-soothing stay! I highly recommend this place.
