"Beautiful Riad in a nice part of the medina, about twenty minutes walk from the main square Jeema el-Fnaa. At first one of our rooms was downstairs and this is a little close to the kitchen and feels less private than the rooms upstairs. The staff kindly arranged for us to swap the room on the second night. While the staff were very helpful, there was a bit of an issue with the taxi they booked for us when leaving to go to the airport. We’d paid in advance but the driver never showed up. After waiting about twenty minutes, we got another taxi and the hotel returned the money to us, so all was well, but we were a little stressed about making our flight as Marrakech airport takes a long time!"

"Very friendly and helpful staff, Hamza and Jamal. Location is excellent if you want to be near to Imam Jazuli and Sidi Bel Abbasi shrines. But otherwise if you want to be close medina market then this is bit of a walk as it's a bit removed from the central hustle bustle."

"Riad Amely is a great place to stay. The service is amazing. Saïd & Ftah were both amazing ! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed with fresh Moroccan tea, which was extremely refreshing. The room was nice and clean. The A/C worked brilliantly. The only downside was a shared bathroom. However, it was always kept clean and topped up. There is a nice seating area on the roof to enjoy your tea and food. The breakfast is a traditional Moroccan breakfast with good size portions. Whenever we exited or entered we were always greeted warmly. Thank you for everything guys !"

"Everything was fine, we stayed in a few riads, they were all good but this is not the problem. The problem is staying in the area where Riads are located, it’s Old Town, very dodgy, lots of scammers, people always follow pretending nice and willing to show the way to the hotel and then charging you for this!"

"Place is nice and clean, staff was also very helpful. However, do note that the address is not the actual address of the riad. I am travelling alone, and only booked this riad because it was right beside where my friends are staying. I only found out when I arrive that it is a 4-5mins walk from the actual address stated on trip.com. Which was very misleading and they should update the correct address. Kudos to the staff who was very nice to walk me out many times, as I prefer to have someone walk me in the early mornings, and at night. Provided water, and also very helpful and friendly. Another issue I had was that I arranged an airport transport to pick me from the airport, and was told the driver will be carrying the hotel sign with my name. I could not find the driver and panicked, again because I was travelling alone. I had to call the riad to realise that the driver was not carrying the correct sign, but another name similar to Riad Dar Massai, and did not have my name on it. Which was honestly impossible for me to recognise which is my driver. The sign should be made clear to guest first time in Marrakesh to just show ”RIAD DAR MASSAI + name of guest”. Finally, the aircon was great, but blankets were really thin. I know they provided extra blankets but I did not use it. So I am very cold at night. Apart from the few drawbacks, it is overall a beautifully designed Riad, I actually really loved the interior architecture, and the rooms are clean and spacious, showers are hot and nice."

"This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with Moroccan tea and sweets. The decor is charming and has a gorgeous boutique feel. The service was attentive and friendly throughout. The only downside was it got quite noisy at night - but we’d still stay again as it’s a brilliant place."

"Buen riad, con muy buena atención. Nos vinieron a buscar al taxi el primer día y nos ayudaron a encontrarnos con el conductor a la vuelta. Buen desayuno, cosa que se agradece ya que nos parecería complicado empezar el día encontrando donde desayunar. Está a 20 mins andando de la plaza principal."
