"Like being welcomed into a private home! Beautiful people who can't do enough for us guests, to the point where two of the lads, Dawa and Sanjit even helped me dress in my traditional Gho. (Tricky.) We wish that we knew everyone's name to say how good you all are! The food's great and there's so much of it. At breakfast it's probably best to say what you DON'T want, otherwise you'll need to be carried to the lift. There's no bar in the hotel but if you want anything you can bring it in. First night at dinner I asked about wine and some beers, so Dawa went across the street to Mr Sagar's shop and got me some! Sometimes there are small misunderstandings and little delays but hey; we're welcome guests in a distant land. Be nice and go with the flow. Our room looked a bit 'tired' and the WiFi can sometimes be a bit hit and miss but the bed was great, the shower was great and the view from the balcony across the neighbourhood (chillis drying on the roofs!) to the hills, gold. There's TV too if you want. We love Nirvana Inn Paro, especially because of all of you working there. Kadrin chey la."

Waking up to the view of the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery is something special. Manager Nim Den and her team are warm, kind, and always ready to help. Their hospitality feels genuine and easy. The food is simple and tasty, comforting in the best way. A special mention about the hot stone bath after the Tiger’s Nest hike, soaking in it with a stunning sunset view is such an experience. And then there are the conversations. Talking to our host, Missie, was truly inspiring. Her journey of moving from the West and choosing to make this “last Shangri-La” her home for her young child adds so much meaning to the place. Everything about Taktsangri-La felt warm, welcoming, and easy to love. Whenever Paro happens again, this is where we return!"

"New, clean and new to the business it seems. So there's good and bad. Clean is a plus. Buffet dinners are a bit Mish mash. Breakfast is great. If you are on the topmost floor and in 209 (or maybe other rooms) then you will need headphones with static on loop to cancel out the pressure pump noise. It will drive you crazy. "

"Absolutely stunning location, beautiful lodge with a recently refurbished shower room which was huge. We absolutely loved it in our lodge. So peaceful, we were sad to leave. Evening buffet was good, specially prepared for the few tourists that were there. Breakfast ok, but it would have been lovely to have had more fresh fruit and curd available, we did ask and got some. Excellent Masala tea."

"Minulla oli suuri huone, jossa upeat näkymät lasissa aurinkolämpötilassa tässä kauniissa hotellissa. Se on melko pieni rauhassa, hiljaa asettumassa vuorelle aivan Paron ulkopuolella (lähistöllä lentokentän). Se on hyvin lähellä Paro ja luultavasti kävelykelpoinen, jos et välitä kitka mäki ilman jalankulkua. Kävelin kaunis kukkula ylös hotellista, jossa oli vähän liikennettä, metsää ja näkymiä. Hotelli oli hyvin puhdas, oli paras lämpimän suihkun minulla oli aikana Bhutanissa (mukaan lukien tilat kuten lyönti kuivaus). Bed oli vahva ja mukava ja vaikka näin ei lämpöä minulla oli paljon lämpimiä kaapeleita & ulkoa aika oli kylmä mutta ei kylmä. Hyvä aamiainen ja illallinen."

Resort järjesti meidän 6 on pakattu aamiainen ! Matka- ja polkupyöräily ovat luultavasti paras tapa tutkia uskomaton maisema ympäri. "
