VVieraskäyttäjäI don’t write reviews often. I will say I was not impressed with this stay first of all the master bedroom door would not shut all the way nor would it lock so it kept constantly opening the air at night would turn off, even though we set it on 71 and it would get very hot at night it was not comfortable to sleep. Also, the room that I originally booked, which was a two bedroom suite with king beds in both rooms, they told me upon checking in that they no longer had that room, but they upgraded me to a better room. However, the room that they put us in, the living room was much much smaller like the size of a postage stamp and was not comfortable to hang out, and there was more room in the entryway in hallway then there was in the rest of the room. The waitresses we had at the pool were not friendly nor accommodating so overall I would say that this day was not that great and I would probably not come back for the price tag. I spent $1100 with Florida discount to stay one night it was not worth it

VVieraskäyttäjäAmazing location. Very comfy beds. Pool is way too small for the size of hotel. The pool’s accessibility chair was not working, which was a big disappointment.

AAnonyymi käyttäjäWhen I booked Pelican Pointe hotel, I knew it was an older property so I wasn't expecting anything grand, plus the price was super affordable! When we first arrived, the room was very spacious for my family of 5. It was like a semi suite, kitchen was separated from the beds but not closed off. It had 2 doubles and a futon fold out in the kitchen/dining area. It was clean but had a funky smell, having a small well stocked kitchen with fridge and microwave was useful. At first glance it was nice, the location is amazing, right across the street from Clearwater Beach and complimentary parking which is a bonus (I hate having to pay extra for parking, so that was really great considering the price). I thought we really scored with this find, until.....my son saw a gigantic bug in the bathroom, it turned out to be a cockroach!!! EEEEWWWWW!!!! Throughout our stay we saw a few more big roaches and a ton of baby roaches everywhere. We were scared to turn off the lights because as soon as you did, the roaches came out to play, really gross and a major turn-off!!!! We slept with the lights on needless to say. We didn't bother to say anything because if there are roaches in this room, chances are the entire hotel has it!
If it wasn't for the roaches, I would definitely recommend this hotel but I would never go back after seeing those nasty bugs. The hotel needs to fumigate and get rid of those roaches!!!!

VVieraskäyttäjäWhile researching hotels, I visited this property a month before my arrival to make sure the accommodation would work for my purposes. At that time, I was shown a specific layout for the 1 bedroom queen beds configuration. The front desk attendant specified the description of the room that I should book when I made the reservation.
I made the reservation based on their information and the room I was shown.
A month later when I check in, I am given a room half the size of the one I was shown. I tell the front desk that it was not what I was told and I am unhappy with the room and I need the bigger room. The gas let me and told me that they had already given me the biggest room they had. I'm not kidding when it was literally half the size of the one I previewed.
I walked the front desk attendance to the door of the room I was shown and was assured that those rooms are the same size and they couldn't be shown to me at that time because they were occupied.
I had to cancel most of the event I had planned due to lack of space and lost revenue I would have earned giving a workshop to paying pupils.
Complete bait and switch. Avoid this property.

GGregory SomozaMy husband and I booked a vacation at the Bilmar in treasure island and we loved it! Heather and Viola at the front desk were a pleasure! Heather went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Everything was in walking distance of the hotel, and the beach and pool was amazing.
Mike and Louis, the bartenders at Sloppy Joe’s and Waves were awesome. From the staff to the resort and location everything was wonderful and we can’t wait to return!
And do not miss the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see!

VVieraskäyttäjäWe really liked the location and design. However, we noted there was no bedspread on the bed, the floor was sticky, refridgerator did not work, the shower floor had massive hair in it creating the water to back up, the towels were small and thin, and there was no parking option other than valet costing an unplanned expense. We were told there would be robes in the room but there were not. We were told we would have a gulf view but had to crank our heads way to the side to see it. We informed the desk and all they said was they would inform housekeeping. There was nothing luxury about this as it seemed basic. The resturant was not ready yet. We had coffee only which was good. Very disappointing experience otherwise.

VVieraskäyttäjäOverall good place but there are about 6 elevators and only 1-max 2 of them were in working condition for the 4 days we were there. Great beach and awsome location.

VVieraskäyttäjäNice bay view at upper floors. Very clean. Housekeeping great. Room big and comfortable with good energy. Room shows still damage from water from hurricane Milton. A Hilton room should be more updated. Nothing worth in the room for a deposit of several hundreds of Dollars. Anyway, had a great stay and enjoyed the location. Lobby great for a business meeting. Also good to work in the room, big office table and comfortable office chair.
