"The location to this property from Raleigh airport was excellent, however the property is in great need of update. The entrance needed a good sweep of leaves, the hallway baseboards need replacing, there was spilled soiled spots on the carpet on my floor, the elevator was missing a handrail on one side (looked like someone pulled it off the wall) and the elevator and floor were filthy. The room was large and bed clean and comfortable. The hotel is very close to the airport and the planes begin take off at 6ish and run late. This hotel needs a good manager. I assume this hotel is making money because of location to airport and downtown Raleigh. I have stayed in La Quinta a few times in Florida."

"...you get what you paid for...the location of the hotel is close to other hotel brands, a gas station and fast food, so the place is quiet at least when I visited...check in was not too busy and the lobby was small...I stayed at the first floor, which I did not like it because most of the time you can hear other room doors open and close...they should fix the doors because the springs in them are strong which cause them to slam. So I would avoid the first but I booked a king bed...the room I stayed in was okay but I did not like the bathroom...the fan was too loud when you turn the lights on...breakfast was okay nothing fancy I just did not like how some of the guess did not know how to manage their own kids...they keep touching the food and the only waffle machine."

"I was placed on the ground floor which could be very noisy for some people. Room was closed to house keeping, vending machine and other hotel function rooms. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend to specifically ask for top floors and quite wing. Location is 6 mins to Terminal 2, making it very convenient to go in and out to the airport."

"It was very clean and new. Location was fabulous and lots of shops and restaurants are walkable. I didn’t love that the cafe wasn’t open all day, but the staff was friendly and we would definitely stay there again. The rooms are large and clean."

"The room and shower were comfortable and clean. The shower seat was helpful for use near the sink counter as well as in the shower. Breakfast offered a wide variety of hot and cold food and drink. The location was near the mall with many restaurant choices for dinner. The elevator was not working, but we were on the first floor."

"I really enjoyed my stay. They do excellent daily cleaning, which is not typical in alternative hotels, even more expensive ones, in nowadays Raleigh. The breakfast is so and so, but one cannot expect to have a descent breakfast in rural US."

"Location of the hotel is great, easy access to stores and highway. Plenty of parking. Check in was easy. However rooms and towels are only cleaned every 3 days unless you request it. Requested towels and cleaning on day 2 however it was not completed and had to go see the front desk upon return. Phone in the room did not work the entire time. Breakfast was decent."
