Renaissance Phuket Resort and Spa was an amazing experience. The room is clean, comfortable and spacious with a wonderful plunge pool for those hot Thai afternoons. The hotel went over and beyond to accommodate us, we had a very late flight we were given a late check-out (19:00 pm) so that we could freshen up before heading to the airport. This was so appreciated and thoughtful. The spa was just as great. We had various treatments and all were beyond our expectations. I can’t wait to return on our next Phuket trip. The only location of the hotel is far away from the popular tourist spots, but this made it even better as the beach wasn’t crowded and had a more chilled vibe. It’s also much closer to the airport for easy transfers.

I would like to say thank you for Noku for the birthday arrangements and also the kind service from the staff; I do not like complaining but I do have to raise up my issues as I do believe there can be massive improvements in the hotel and how they handle issues ($550USD for two night stay) - I booked a HILL VILLA KING; I requested prior to arrival that I wanted a certain view and they replied we will try to the best of their availability (which is totally understandable) - When I arrived the service was good and they were very kind and again I appreciated the birthday setup they did in the room - After I checked in ROOM H11; which I saw was weird was there was 2 separate bed bases; and using common sense I thought why would a KING bed have 2 bed bases - After trying to sleep at night I noticed that it was actually a 2 twin beds put together which explains the two separate bed bases; during the night the bed moved in the middle (with obvious two twin beds and the line in the middle) the bed sheets did not fit because it was two twins and they gave me two separate blankets (it was me and my girlfriend) so it is weird having two separate blankets - I went to explain my situation to duty manager (AM is his name) he was very nice but very inexperienced I must say; I went to the front desk and I said “hi may I know what type of room I booked” then they said “king bed Hill Villa” I said perfect then I said I would like to speak to a manager (they knew what I was going to say) - When AM came out he did not let me speak he just talked and said sir because you requested for a nicer view we gave you this room and because the king bed broke which is why we put two twins together. I asked if that is the case why did you not inform me at check in? He said oh we did not im so sorry; let me change your room for you and I will send a fruit plate as apology (TBH I don’t want a fruit plate I can easily get one for $2USD anywhere in Thailand) I said please I had lunch yesterday which was around $25USD pls waive that for me as courtesy and everything would be fine. AM replied of course that’s not a problem sir (I THOUGHT everything was resolved) not sure if he did not understand but I spoke slowly in English due to the language barrier - We went to my new room at night and saw the fruit plate (thought it was a bonus) room was better and was a king bed which is what I wanted. I go to check out the following morning (I DID NOT HAVE TO) they do not take a deposit which is weird because I signed a lunch to my room so I could have just left. I met AM again and he showed me the map of the whole hotel; Pointed at H11 and you can clearly see that the room has two twin beds (So the BED was not broken they just put me in a twin bed combined into a King) He said yes lol not sure why because its not what he said yesterday that the King bed broke. Then he said oh sir you do have a lunch that you had to pay for (Yesterday he just said yes no problem I will take care) now I need to pay for it; I said did you not say you will take care of it he replied “sorry sir because this is another department” To me its one hotel; how you deal with costs internally is not my problem ( I WAS NOT GOING WRITE A REVIEW BUT AFTER THIS I HAD TO) - Also just to add First day breakfast I asked for (ICE THAI COFFEE) they said they do not have and interesting as im in Thailand all hotels have this but it was fine; BUT the breakfast colleagues said at afternoon session they have so I said no problem! But one of the staff offered “sir tomorrow morning we can offer if you would like” I thought amazing that’s service; next day I went “SIR WE DO NOT HAVE THAI COFFEE” after the disappointments above I gave up and adding to the bill not being waived which is a fraction of the cost of the room I gave up - All in all this hotel tries to be “high end” but there are many improvements that can be made Sorry for the long review but I was not too impressed

We had a wonderful stay at Graceland Phuket and would happily return. The resort is beautifully maintained, with large pools, direct beach access, and a relaxed atmosphere that still feels close to the action in Patong. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with daily housekeeping that was always reliable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay,from check-in to any requests we had.

Even if it ended with a nice gesture, the receptionist handing me a keychain gift (not sure if they do that with all guests), with a written request to leave 10/10 review, sadly I couldn't ignore the shortcomings of this hostel that seemed like just a downgraded version of Marco Polo Poshtel (not sure which one came first, but from breakfast to ”funny” wall messages, there was a similar ”creative” signature). While I was initially attracted by reviews mentioning hostel's cleanliness, I couldn't say I shared the same opinion. Certain public areas were quite messy. The staircase to the first floor (where shoes are forbidden) didnt seem to be cleaned for some time. In the showers (which had a good water pressure), there was mold. None of the three handsoap dispensers in the only bathroom had soap in them. It just felt the staff doesnt have time or organizational skills to maintain everything in working order. But I was mostly surprised by finding a not clean (i dont want to call it ”used”) bed cover in my bed. It had some fresh stains, hair and crumbles (well, not just on bed cover), and seemed just to be folded after the guest before me (even the folding seemed messed up, so i really thought maybe the bed was forgotten). When I asked the housekeeping to change it, they initially approved. The younger housekeeper started changing everything, sheet included (which i believe is a good way to do it, when it is not certain if the bed was completely changed), but when the older one returned, she made her put the sheet back (the sheet that was thrown on the floor in the meantime), laughing all along. No, that wasnt really funny. Then instead of letting the young housekeeper put on the new bed cover she brought along, i noticed that the older one brought something that seemed to be the same old bed cover that i complained about (the duvet was already inside). When i asked if that is a new thing, she was convincing me it was. Already at that moment, i felt ridiculed. But i said, ”okay, if you say so.” After all was done, i came back to my bed, unfolded the bed cover and confirmed my doubt - all this performance of changing the bed, without them changing anything! The only difference was that the bedsheet was also on the floor in the meantime. This got me really frustrated, mostly because they lied to my face (what for?), and mostly because they invested energy in ”changing” everything while actually just stripping everything off and returning it (why? It takes the same amount of energy to do it for real). Feeling like an *****, i asked what seemed to be the problem? Dont they have clean bedding, or what? But they had. I asked them to give it to me then, and i would happily prepare the bed myself. Which they accepted. Lol. I dont know, with that poor breakfast, the visual mess, unpleasant ”toilet” scent at hostel entrance, and generally low level of cleanliness (you can see how yellow the pillow is once you remove the pillow case yourself), it felt that other reviews mentioning spotless hygiene were misleading. Or were my standards too high? In any case, i stayed in a dozen of Phuket hostels during my month here, but none of them tried to insult my intelligence. There are better places, and no, Dorm Hostel sadly doesnt deserve 10/10, to quote the request they tell everyone at check-out. I also tried to leave them space for hostel improvement, so instead of lowest marks, i left average ones, even if the experience was truly below average. P.S. When a guest asks whether a ferry with a pick-up operates everywhere in Phuket, a genuinely helpful answer would be ”yes”. And not ”no, it's only our hostel's pickup”. I understand everyone just tries to earn money, but it shouldn't be done by misleading guests who just trustfully ask for information.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights. On the first night, there was a small issue with cleanliness, but the front desk staff handled it very well quickly arranged a room change and offered complimentary breakfast as an apology. I was truly impressed by their care and responsiveness. The room was clean and comfortable, and the rest of the hotel was well maintained with a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you to all the staff. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay with excellent service.

Varattu päiväksi, mutta onnellisesti vietimme neljä päivää. Huone on uusi, kaikki on puhdasta, ei hajuja. Tämän kategorian huoneet sijaitsevat ensimmäisessä ja viimeisessä kerroksessa, me asuimme viimeisessä. Kolme ilmastointilaitetta luovat erilaisen ilmaston eri alueilla. Meillä oli näkymä tielle, mutta melua ei kuulunut. Suuri parveke, kuivausrumpu, aurinko ☀️ minikeittiö kaikella mitä tarvitset ja uudet laitteet. Hotelli itsessään on erittäin kaunis, ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on useita lautapelejä lapsille.

Vaikutelma on positiivisempi, mutta siinä on pari vivahdetta. Ehkä se on tärkeä jollekin. Erittäin heikko internetyhteys (vanhassa) päärakennuksessa, huone 2. kerroksessa. Kalastus on parempi altaassa, mutta silti katkonaista. Huono äänieristys parvekkeen puolella. Koska huone oli suoraan aamiaisalueen yläpuolella, aamulla ovien ollessa kiinni, kuulit henkilökunnan valmistautuvan aamiaiselle klo 6 (he siirtävät pöytiä ja tuoleja). Huoneen ilmastointilaite on erittäin äänekäs (jälleen, ehkä tämä on vain yhden huoneen ongelma, 1214). Aamiainen on melko monipuolinen, puhtaat huoneet, puhtaat liinavaatteet ja pyyhkeet. Saimme erittäin tilavan huoneen. Sisäänkirjautumisen yhteydessä huone korotettiin.

Hotelli on aivan uusi, ja uima-altaan ulkopuolella on ranta. Auringonlasku on kaunis. Huone on myös kuiva. Aula on kaukana huoneesta, ja sieltä on auto noutamaan sinut. Hotellin sijainti on hieman syrjäinen, mutta ei hankala. Siellä on hierontoja, ruokakojuja ja 711 on yli kilometrin päässä. Voit soittaa ja varata ajan hierontaliikkeeseen, joka noutaa sinut, mikä ei ole kallista.

As I extended my stay at this hotel, I would like to add a few comments to my previous review, which you can find here on Trip.com. My first review gives a more detailed impression of the room and the hotel overall. During the extended stay, there was renovation work in the room next to mine. The door was often left open, the area looked quite dirty, and there was noticeable noise from the workers talking and working, which made the stay less comfortable. I also mentioned at the reception that my birthday would take place during my stay. While I did not expect anything special, even a small symbolic gesture would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, there was no acknowledgment, which felt like a lack of attention to returning guests.

Tämä on erittäin hyvä hotelli. Sain jopa pullon kivennäisvettä sisäänkirjautumisen yhteydessä. Huone on tilava ja hyvin valaistu. Kirkas meikki oli vielä parempi. Palvelut ovat täydelliset. Sänky on erittäin mukava, patja on mukava, vedenpaine on vahva, vesi virtaa nopeasti ja veden lämpötila on miellyttävä. Suihku on mukava. Internetin nopeus ei ole liian huono. Vastaanoton palvelu on erittäin hyvää, yksityiskohdat ovat kohdallaan. He auttavat matkatavaroiden kanssa saapuessa ja lähtiessä. Hotellissa on oma ravintola ja se on hyvin lähellä laituria, mikä on kätevää muiden saarten vierailulle. Erittäin suositeltavaa.
