Good view and superb view but they need to install tv please. The owner is very nice and helpful, so is the 3 staff and gardener they were very helpful and friendly 👍👍👍 strongly recommend to stay here

The road to the place is a little shaky but all worth it for the excellent view. In the morning got to see the whole mount KK in front of us, really amazing view. The people hosting were super nice and friendly, they have a restaurant and small mart at the reception area, even a water dispenser. There were 2 rooms with big bed and another with bunk beds that can fit 4. You can also ask for Wifi router and Mahjong to rent. Overall good experience, would visit again!

Had a really pleasant stay here. The room was clean, the location is great with a nice peaceful vibe, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Amenities were well maintained and everything felt comfortable. Definitely a good place to relax and unwind. Would come again!

July 2024 TL;DR: This place feels more like a meditation centre than a hotel, it will not provide you with supplements. It's a bare room. You need to bring toothbrush&paste and buy drinks somewhere as it is not provided. No tv and fan. No in-house restaurant. There are mosquitoes at the garden near afternoon, and the balcony at night, but there are no insects in the room (family room). In exchange you will get a very clear and vivid Mt Kinabalu view in the near-dawn morning (where there is no mosquito), a working shower with heater, concrete floor that reduces nearby noise, and cold foggy experience. Long: This place is within the fog path so you will get the foggy experience. You can also see Mt. Kinabalu at the right time and it looks quite close (e.g. dawn 6 a.m.). You can even see the electric towers and resthouse, it's that close. Moreover, this place is more like a meditation centre than a hotel. It is visibly run down probably since covid as that is also when the in-house restaurant got closed down. Considering my experience as a recurrent visitor of Kundasang, mosquito has always been the least of my concern. Somehow this place has lots of them. We got bit quite a lot in a short span of time. Undesirable / Cons: -No water kettle, no supplements (water bottle, coffee pack, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.). Porcelain mugs are provided though -No in-house cafe/restaurant but nearby has a few (400 meters at least) -No tv, no fan but cold in general -Quite a lot of mosquito and moths outside at the garden place in the afternoon and at the balcony connecting the 2 buildings at night. There are no electric zapper. -Seems a bit run down at the garden. 2 broken board pieces on the floor for example. -It has no Qibla for muslim people, at least in family room Desirable / Pros: -Big room. Not smelly -Is cement board floor -Big single beds. Not smelly -Clean bed. Fluffy cover. -Water heater is working for family room at least -Relatively clean inside room and at reception. No insects in room. No weird bugs around. -Has a table and chairs in room -Lots of electrical port -Wifi provided by hotel is strong (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz -Very near main road. So good road going towards the hotel -Aki-Aki trail starting point is nearby. Plan to go next time so no experience as of this review This place is not too bad. Not too good either. Personally, I wouldn't place this as my top place for the foggy and view considering other options but I don't mind returning if necessary. It will sure be much much better to highly recommended with much needed renovation and have some methods to deal with those mosquito. p.s. There's a cute puppy that invites you at the entrance. 😂 p.s.s. I saw a greater coucal gliding into the forest in the morning!

The room is spacious and clean. The hotel has very esthetic view of mount Kinabalu and the simple design of the residence and the surrounding is pleasant to the eyes. The staff has been pleasant and very cooperative in serving their guests.

The view of Mt Kinabalu from our room was spectacular. The hotel service is good, hotel staff allowed us to check in early. However, that’s pretty much it. The hotel toilet is quite dirty, water in the shower and sink is brownish/ yellowish, and the whole hotel feels very dated and stuck in the 1990s. The road condition towards the hotel is horrendous, in fact the road condition in most parts of Kundasang is terrible. The government really needs to do something about boosting its tourism economy. It is such a beautiful state, it’s a shame that not much love has been given by the government to make it more tourist friendly.

hintaan RM130+/nite huoneen 3pax sanoisin sen todella arvokas, ei mitään mahtavaa, mutta huone on riittävän kunnollinen minulle ja vanhemmilleni, vesilämmittimen toimii hyvin kuin sää on todella kylmä plus sade päivä, TV aint työskentelee mutta ei paljon kuin sen aika perheen sitoutuminen 😁 perusvarusteita saatavilla puhtailla pyyhkeillä, paljon pysäköinti käytettävissä, ilmainen wifi saatavilla, mutta ei ollut niin vakaa. Yksi asia hyvä bout tämä paikka on sijainti, sijaitsee aivan päätiepääkaupunki Kundasang, ja erittäin mukava ravintola sijaitsee aivan hotellin alapuolella, palvelee NO PORK levyt, yleinen ruoka on ja hinta on kohtuullinen 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The resort was on high ground and thus have a wonderful / fantastic view of Kundasang valley. The resort is a bit old. There was no free Internet in the room. The small 24 inc TV in the room was not working. No hair dryer and air con. There is 1 standing fan. I am ok with all Cleanliness was good.

Tempat ni perlukan maintainence...toilet bersih, langsir dan dinding2 bilik agak kusam , bilik agak berbau... Tp view cantik gileer... Hrap ada penambah baikan di masa akan datang... Kedudukan hotel ini x jauh dr pekan kundasang. Senang nak cari...
