"Most convenient position around the Jr station, very kind frontdesk, I checked in 1 hrs earlier than regulated. Breakfast is decent as well. The room is bigger than I expected, equipment well functioned. Staff is professional, they react quickly and kindly when I ask for help. Highly recommend!"

"Stayed two night at this lovely hotel. Staff at the reception were really patient and warm during check in and checkout. On my first night during check in, the lady was exceptionally helpful and patient with my queries, and helped me with the process of takkubin! My room has a panoramic view of the city with Mt Fuji at the background! Bed was comfortable.Breakfast spread was great and not crowded."

"One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! Great quality hotel, especially for the price. Very professional and friendly service, the room is very high quality and nice. I especially like the onsen, which was complete with 2 different hot baths (one with fresh outdoor air even), a cold plunge, a rain shower, and a sauna! Just incredible for recovering after a long day of walking around. I actually wish I had gone to the onsen sooner, and would have used it likely 2x a day if I had known how good it was. The breakfast was also incredible. Just a huge variety of great food options, most of which were Japanese which I quite enjoyed. They even had wasabi (fresh I think), soba noodles, and lots of seafood options. This is one of the top 5 best hotels I have ever stayed at! Keep up the great work. I also loved Shizuoka!! This hotel has several restaurants very close by and is only 1-2 blocks away from the main store and restaurant area of that part of Shizuoka City."

"The hotel was located about 3 to 4 minutes walking distance from Shizuoka Station, and there was a 7-Eleven at the base of the hotel, so you could even walk there in your pyjamas because you didn’t have to go outside. The hotel room was nice and spacious enough for two people, and it had all the amenities we needed. The laundry room was really good and was one of the few, if not the only, laundry rooms I encountered where you could pay with cash, card, or even online (Google Pay, Apple Pay, etc.). One thing worth mentioning is that the hotel did not have a smart TV, so YouTube or other streaming services were not available. This is something you sometimes miss when you return to your room early in the evening. This does not require replacing the TV, but simply adding a Google or Android TV dongle, which I would also suggest as an improvement. The only downside of the hotel was that the staff spoke or understood only limited English. In most cases this is manageable, because you do not need much beyond check-in, check-out, sending your luggage, or asking for an iron. However, in my case it involved renting a parking spot. Even though I used translation apps and tried my best to communicate, and the staff also did their best to understand and translate their side, it still did not work out. I ended up renting a parking spot just 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel in a public parking garage. In the end, this was not a problem, as you pay the same fee (1000 yen) for parking either behind the hotel or in the public garage 2 minutes away. However, my suggestion for the hotel would be to provide an English instruction sheet explaining what to do, where to park, and how the parking process works, so that future guests who wish to park will have clear information."

"Stayed in the residential room. Spacious hotel with nice location, near the Shizuoka station. Nice hotel staff. Great selection of tasty breakfast. Surrounded by many restaurants and shops. Walkable distance to many tourist attractions. Will definitely come back again."

"I was very angry with this hotel, i was a bit late for check out but when i come back to hotel, the staff packed my luggages putting in the concierge without my permission!!! When i asked for an explanation but without response from them! I found later they left my glasses in the room!!! I had such a bad experience!!!!!"

"Excellent stay, regretted not getting a room with mt fuji view. You can see the entire fuji san with city view in foreground on clear day, very impressive. Go early for breakfast if you want to get the best seats just by the glass. Room is clean and well appointed. Staff are helpful at check in. The lawn is amazing with a view to die for. It was chilly and super windy when we went on 16 March."
