"I stayed at R&B Hotel Hachioji for 9 nights in a single non-smoking room from Dec 31, 2024, to Jan 8, 2025. First impressions: Room: The room was clean and relatively spacious, featuring a carpeted floor, a clean bathroom, and Toto toilets with a built-in bidet. Liquid soap and shampoo are also provided. The room was quiet and peaceful during my stay, perfect for resting after a long day. Amenities: A table with a wide variety of amenities (such as disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, facial cleansers, facial toners, razors, shaving cream, to name a few) can be found on the lobby floor. A coin-operated laundry room with free detergent is also available on the 5th floor. While detergent is free, laundry costs about 200 yen for a 30-minute wash and 200 yen for a 30-minute dry. If needed, a coin exchanger is available on the lobby floor. Service: The staff were super friendly and accommodating despite the language barrier. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi throughout my stay, which was very convenient for staying connected. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient, and if needed, you can leave your luggage at the hotel before check-in time. Breakfast was included in my package and consisted of curry and rice, oats, yogurt, boiled eggs. For beverages, there was a coffee machine, orange juice, apple juice and tea. Towels and toiletries are changed daily during cleaning time. However, bed sheets are changed only every 3 days, so if your stay is shorter than that, bedding will not be changed—something to keep in mind. Convenience: The hotel is very well located, with three convenience stores nearby (7-11, Family Mart and Lawsons). The Keio line is just a 5-minute walk away, and the JR line is a bit further, about a 10-minute walk, but still very convenient. There are also shopping malls and eateries nearby. The surrounding area is lively yet peaceful, making it easy to explore. Value for Money: Considering the location, amenities, and service, I found the hotel to offer excellent value for money. ありがとうございました"

"Asuin Fanmin takia pari päivää. Hän varastoi matkatavarat ennen kuin hän on tehnyt lentoonlähtöä ja siirsi matkatavarat huoneeseen, mikä on hyvä palvelu. Huone oli vanha, seinät ja ovet olivat likaisia. seinät näyttivät olleet tyhjät, ja pelkään ääntä vieressä. Olin kuiva, koska voin vain valita matalan tai korkean ilmastointilaitteen, eikä ilman lisälaitteita tai puhdistuslaitteita. Sänky on kova. En voi nukkua. On mukavaa kauppoja aseman lähellä, mutta hotellin lähellä ei ole. Fuji Mountain on ollut paras paikka hotellissa aamulla."

"This is a great location for people looking to hike Mt. Takao. You will need to use a taxi to get to and from the train station though. The staff was very kind and supplied us with cans of coffee whenever they saw us lol! One of the owners even gave us a ride to Mt. Takao when we asked for him to call us a taxi. The rooms are motel style and very spacious. Be aware this is an ex love hotel so it does have a slightly creepy vibe, I wouldn’t bring minors to this hotel to be honest. (I also turned on the TV in the bath which was a bit of a scare!) Also just show any taxis the actual address of this place in Japanese as no one local knew where this place was."

"Family mart, donki and some shopping malls are nearby. Hachioji station is within walking distance too with less than 10mins walk. As there are more people on vegetarian/ vegan diet, i would suggest to do labelling if they are suit for vegetarian. There are 2 recycle bins for clothing, beanies, scarves, small bags and toys. Located on the same level as the lobby area. These recycle bins are very useful. My son has outgrown some of his winter jackets and i can put them inside the recycle bin."

"The accommodation was so much better than what I thought! It's spacious and comfortable with the window view of the trees and 5 minute walk from the train station and Mt Takao trail. Youhei who greeted us at reception was outstanding in his customer service, he explained there would be vegan breakfast served daily as I put a request for vegan and didn't get a response that there would be vegan breakfast and he gave us tips on how to use the amenities here and how to communicate to the restaurant staff about our request. We enjoyed the bonfire and cooking corn which tasted amazing. The feedback I would give is the young Japanese woman who served us for dinner on the first night on Friday 12th July at 8pm, she was very quick to get the bill and take the money without being patient and focused, it felt like we we're not welcomed. Other than that I would come back again!"

"A little dated, however it fit the purpose. The hotel has a policy of no guests can leave the hotel with a key for their room. Need to leave it with reception otherwise you are locked in the reception area."
