"Exceptional location, you step out of the train and roll off the ramp to the hotel. On the other side of the station you can already see Mt. Fuji staring down on you. The hotel has nice rooms, more spacious than what you get in the city. The breakfast was not exceptional, but it was sufficient. Staff very polite and helpful, as is the case in all of Japan😅"

"This hotel offers plenty of activities to keep you busy. I particularly enjoyed the welcome matcha tea from an authentic tea house. The rustic sake room provides complimentary sake, which definitely warms you up and relieves tiredness. There’s also an open-air foot bath available. I had a spacious room with a marvelous view of Mount Fuji every morning upon waking. The gourmet dining experience is definitely worth mentioning. The unforgettable drum show and bingo game at night were incredibly exciting. The onsen experience was perfect."

"Arrived on a heavy snow and my shoe were all wet. Were told that our room were not ready but the lady quickly offered me a Shoe Dryer to dry my shoe. The room were quite spacious. It has beautiful view of Mt Fuji. The onsen have the same beautiful view of Mt Fuji. 20 mins walk to the Kawaguchi station. But within 5 mins walk around the hotel, there are Lawson, restaurants and also a huge supermarket. Recommended."

"Perfect for groups and special occasions , would love to return I truly believe this villa offers an amazing view of Mount Fuji, especially with its rooftop area. Unfortunately, due to the weather during our stay, we couldn’t see Mount Fuji at all. That said, I can imagine how stunning it would be on a clear day. This was our New Year trip, and on New Year’s Eve we bought ingredients from the supermarket and cooked a reunion dinner here. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of cooking utensils, which was extremely thoughtful and made the experience feel just like home. I highly recommend this villa for a group of friends or family traveling together. The villa has two floors, allowing everyone to enjoy their own privacy. There are separate bathrooms and kitchen areas, which makes staying together very comfortable. We could gather on the rooftop to hang out, then each return to our own rooms to rest. Despite missing the Mount Fuji view this time, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay here again in the future."

"Great experience here. They ensured check-in was smooth. The view of Mt Fuji is spectacular. Our room had the close-up view of Mt Fuji. Really great experience staying here. We cancelled our morning plans to stay in the hotel to enjoy it more before we check-out. Staffs are really friendly and can speak English. However, if you want to contact them before the stay, you'll have to call them, as they rarely respond to emails. They also provided with 2 free tickets of Fuji Q Highland theme park tickets. However, take note that in order to take rides in the park, you'll need to purchase a separate ticket for each ride. The ticket they've provided is only for entry into the park. Overall, a great stay and enjoyed the experience here."

"It was a perfect stay at Bessho Sasa my family and I really appreciated the superb service the staff provided my family (I travelled with my 88-year old mum so we had quite a lot of needs) with. I had left some items in the room and they promptly had it couriered to me in Tokyo. The dinners each night were very well prepared, each day was fun-filled with so many activities. The Taiko show was done so professionally I was surprised that the drummers were all staff of the resort!! I would love to re-visit the resort again some day."

"Located just right behind the train station, no need to use staircase, convenient for heavy luagages. During my 1 night stay, they even upgraded my room to Fujisan view. The roof top balcony was a gem, can see Mt Fuji when it's good weather. Open resting place at 1st floor was truly convenient. We stored our luagage after checked out and still can come back and eat our lunch there. The place was clean, well managed and cozy. Lastly, the staffs were amazing. They speak fluent Mandarin as they came from Taiwan. Another thing, those who drives, free car park also available."

"Close to Fuji-Q and many eateries. 3rd bedroom couldn't fit 2 futon beds though, but we managed to squeeze one into the 2nd room. Otherwise all perfect with this accommodation. Will return!"

"I booked this hotel because the promotion made it seem luxurious, but the surroundings feel odd, almost like all the trees have been removed by purpose, littered with dry leaves and fallen branches. It feels dirty and poorly cared for. I was expecting a neatly landscaped area with grass and trees, but instead, the outside feels like a barren, lifeless space. That said, the inside of the room looks very good. The accommodation consists of two separate large caravan‑style rooms. They are not very spacious, but they are sufficient for a family of four. One of the rooms has slightly less living space because it includes a larger bathroom, with a full‑size bathtub. This is something you rarely find in Tokyo, where most bathtubs are quite small, so this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we struggled with the bathtub controls as it was written in Japanese, we couldn't use it after all. Also, the heating system are all labeled in Japanese, and there were no clear instructions in English. As a result, we didn’t figure out how to use the heating until the second night. We stayed for two nights in total. There is an outdoor spa area, which is interesting and enjoyable. We used it and found it quite good, although it is small. It works best for two people, three is a tight squeeze, and four would be uncomfortable. The sauna is decent and operates daily. Breakfast is served at set times rather than as a buffet, likely because the hotel only has 14 rooms. Guests must choose a time slot, such as 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. We chose 8:30. Breakfast is a set menu rather than self‑service. Each morning includes a starter, a main dish, and some small item to finish, well enough for us. The first day was Japanese‑style, with a rice‑based dish. The second day was Western‑style, with a sandwich as the main course and fried eggs with pork belly. The food tasted good, but we would have appreciated more water. We did not ask for refills, as staff left the area after serving. Finding the hotel is a bit difficult. The entrance sign is blocked by a car park sign, making it very easy to miss. You need to drive very slowly, or you will pass it without realising it. We spent several minutes searching before realising this was the place. Be prepared to see a car park with two signs, where one directly blocks the hotel’s entrance sign."
