"Stayed in the standard double room. The room was huge, which is really surprising for Japan hotels. Everything was clean, it’s just that the hotel is a little old which shows in the style of the decorations, but the interior of the rooms were clean. Hotel had public baths and breakfast buffet came with the room we booked. Spread of the buffet was alright. Location wise, it’s nothing exceptional, but I don’t think there’s much to do in town anyways. We were about 15min drive to the dolphin centre which was the main itinerary for our day in Amakusa. View was good, hotel had its own garden area and sea view."

"Hotelli ei ole miellyttävä, mutta henkilöstön jäsenet (enimmäkseen vanhemmat naiset mutta yksi tai kaksi heistä on erittäin hyvä englanti) ovat kaikki hyvin mukavia. Sen palkinto-voitto ruokapalvelu on varmasti täytyy kokeilla täällä, varsinkin illallinen, kun se tulee aurinkokatsaus. Meillä oli onnea järjestää ikkunan istuimen ja pystyi nauttia kauniista auringonlaskua syömällä herkullista kaikista illallisista. aamiainen on myös erittäin mukava. Ja koska se ei ole tyypillinen matkailukohteesi, saat erittäin hyvää arvoa rahaa."

"ロビー、廊下、部屋、全て掃除が行き届いていて清潔でした。アメニティは必要なものをフロントでいただく形で、始めから部屋にセットされているのはバスタオル、フェイスタオルのみでした。歯ブラシ、カミソリなどは宿泊数分いただけました。 出かける際にフロントにルームキーを預ける必要があります。部屋が別館の場合、フロントのある本館まで行く必要があり、少し遠回りでした。ルームキーは一部屋にひとつでした。"

"食事がとても美味しかったです。お刺身は新鮮で舟盛りにしてあり豪華でした。味付けが最高でした。量が多く残してしまい申し訳なかったです。SDGs の観点からももう少し減らしてもいいのでは？と、思いました。"

"The place was spotless and our room had two twin beds, a kitchenette, and the toilet space was modern and sparkling. What made this the best was its location on a little beach surrounded by mountains. Lots of parking for the cars (you have to drive there as it is remote) and the proprieters went above and beyond to give us a map of the area in English with notes telling us where cherry blossoms were blooming at that time and other things. Every day when we returned to the room there was a basket by the door with refreshed supplies. Our room had everything you needed to cook as well as a little table. You have to bring food from Amakusa City as there is no place to shop nearby but once you are there it is totally worth it. There is also plenty of picnic table style seating on the front patio of the rest house. We did not use them but they had stand-up paddleboards, snorkle gear, etc. The sound of the waves and lots of places to hike nearby were amazing."

"Strategic location right opposite Hondo Bus Center in the middle of Amakusa city. Cute and very clean hotel with a traditional Japanese style room. The facilities are great. The room is warm but the bathtub water is not hot enough. Breakfast is available only in the set menu."
