"Rivan sijainti on erinomainen. Oikein hiljaisimmassa osassa rantaa, mutta vielä hyvin saatavilla ranta shakkien ja ravintoloiden. Käyttötilojen ja kylpyhuoneiden palvelut ovat suuret. Check-in ja check-out oli niin sileä. Toivon todella voin arvostella Riva korkeampi, koska se on kaunis lomapaikka, jossa on vierashenkilökunta ja se voi olla hyvin rentoutuva. Mutta ruoka oli valtava lasku. Goa tunnetaan hämmästyttävän ruokakokemus, ja toivon Riva pystyi tarjoamaan ruokaa, joka oli Goan standardien. I was disheartened to observe several lapses in pool etiquette that compromised the establishment's otherwise esteemed reputation.
Guests were seen entering the pool in inappropriate attire, such as pajamas and underwear , which is not only unsightly but also raises hygiene concerns. Proper swimwear is essential to maintain pool cleanliness and uphold the hotel's standards. Additionally, the presence of infants in diapers in the pool area is unsanitary, especially when a designated baby pool is available. This oversight not only affects the pool's cleanliness but also poses health risks to all guests.
The disregard for established pool etiquette significantly detracted from the luxurious experience anticipated at a 5-star establishment. The unsanitary conditions and lack of enforcement of pool policies not only diminished the quality of the stay but also raised concerns about the hotel's commitment to guest well-being and satisfaction."

"The Vivanta Goa Panaji is an excellent hotel. My wife and I travelled from the US to visit in Goa. The hotel has an excellent location near the Campal Gardens and is a very walkable location. We walked to Fontainhas and into the city area several times. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The hotel provided plenty of bottled water, more than we could use. The pool area on the rooftop is a great place to cool off and relax after touring, and the food/drink selections and service were very good. Our booking included the breakfast buffet, which I HIGHLY recommend. There was a very large selection of food, including western /continental, Chinese and Indian. There must be over 30 things to choose from, including whatever type of eggs you could think of, waffles, pancakes, dosas, etc. The quality was excellent, the hot food was hot and cold food was cold. We also ate at the hotel at least one evening for the buffet. It was also extremely extensive and high quality and a very reasonable price. The staff was amazing and the servers truly took an interest in making sure we were happy. They made suggestions for what to try, and if you let them know you are an adventurous eater, they will help you to experience something new and exciting to taste.
The hotel is part of the Taj group, and their attention to quality and service is apparent. We will definitely stay at the Vivanta the next time we are in Goa."

"The hotel is very clean, the staff are attentive and polite. The gym is very small and has few equipment. Excellent location. However, the daily rate is too high for what the hotel offers. PPrateek DahiyaRecently stayed at the Hilton Goa and had a pleasant yet inconsistent experience. The room itself was excellent - very spacious with a large king bed, beautiful furnishings, and sparkling clean bathrooms. The location was also ideal.The breakfast spread was nice.
However, the swimming pool was a major disappointment. There seemed to be an overabundance of chlorine or other chemicals in the water that made it uncomfortable to swim in. My eyes stung badly after just a few minutes in the pool … it was basically unusable throughout my stay which was unfortunate.Also there is scope of improvement in the healthclub as well!
The hotel staff were courteous and professional but lacked some warmth and hospitality I would expect from a high-end resort. I wouldn't call them rude by any means, but they stuck strictly to business with little smiling or engaging conversation. I was hoping for staff that went the extra mile to create a more welcoming environment.
Overall, the Hilton Goa has a lot going for it in terms of room and location. They need to address the pool chemical imbalance and inject more hospitality into their service to excel as a premier 5* hotel. The foundation is there but some tweaks could make this a truly worldclass hotel dest.Thanks

Upon arrival, and departure, the staff greeted me with gifts, which was a nice touch.
What I didn't like was:
1) almost all rooms were located around the pool, so wherever you lay to relax, guests and staff were continuously walking past you
2) the noise from daytime and evening music was ridiculously loud. There are signs inside the room that advise you to wear earplugs if you don't like it. It was louder in the room than outside! And even with earplugs, I could still hear it.
3) the location - whilst it is techinically close to the beach, it is situated on a busy road, and to get to the beach, you had to walk ***** this road. This felt precarious and I did not feel safe to do so, as a solo traveller, at night.
4) the restaurant; whilst the staff were all friendly enough once you approached them, every time I used the restaurant, I had to seek them out. I was never offered a menu unless I asked for one, and I was not shown the breakfast options nor shown what choices I could select from, from the egg/masala/pancakes section.

They contacted a day prior to ask what time I would be checking in. I came in a bit later than the time mentioned and still had to wait 15-20 mins for the room to be ready. Check out was slow as well.
Rooms are clean but old and need improvement.
Breakfast buffet had mediorce options.
Staff barely smile at you.
Stayed at 3 star properties with much better outcome

We were shown to our room and things explained.
The balcony was small but ample.
The room should have contained robe and slippers but these were missing, although didn't affect our stay so not a real issue.
The pool is small but was very quiet and provided a nice cool off. Towels are available at the counter.
The hotel is located directly on the beach with beech shacks and restaurants on the beach very nearby.
The hotel does not provide beach loungers BUT if you head to a beach shack and buy a drink or two, they will allow the use of a bed for free. Directly out of the hotel gate on the beach there was a lady with beds trying to charge 500 rupees for a bed for the day. This is not necessary when you can get a drink for less with a free bed. We nearly learned the hard way.
The bed was far too hard for me, resulting in reduced sleep, but some people may prefer a firmer bed. My partner slept better than me so this was a personal experience. The bedding was nice quality though.
The whole place was clean and tidy. Rooms made up every day in the afternoon so not disturbed early morning which is nice.
The rooms are not soundproof so a lot of noise can be heard from outside when people start moving around in the morning.
Staff were friendly - everyone had a smile, and nothing too much trouble.
We only experienced breakfast once, and I would say it is ok as long as you don't expect a full English fry up (which in my opinion you shouldn't as you're in India). The food was hot, tasty, and fresh. There was plenty to choose from for a breakfast selection.
If I was to fault the breakfast, to provide a suggestion, providing tea and coffee black so that customers can add their own milk would make it more accessible to all. I can't drink too much dairy so had to give this a miss.
Then the only real downside to this hotel we found is when checking out, you are made to wait until the room has been checked, in case you steal anything. I completely understand this, but this should be made clear when checking in. We had booked a taxi to arrive at check out time, which could have resulted in additional costs for waiting time. Just to be mindful if staying here and arranging onward travel. Or maybe the hotel could make this policy clearer upon checking in.
All in all a very nice stay in Candolim and this hotel was a good choice.

DDinesh K R MWow! Wow! Wow! Thats what we can truly say about Doubletree! Nithesh, Syantika & Shivram the 3 of them really made our stay Great and Wonderful! They deserve the recognition for their service. The night we arrived, we were welcomed by Nithesh at the reception. The check in was quick and Nithesh followed us all the way to our room giving us information on the bfast, facilities, f&b and other details that we needed to know! Great Service, Nithesh! At the cafe during bfast, we were served by Shivram. He made sure we did not miss a thing! Shivram, we were looking out for you over the next few days, but maybe you were on another shift. Great Service, Shivram! Last but not least, Syantika! Although you are a newbie, you did not seem like a newbie at all! Your charm and must-do attitude, awesome! Both my wife and me felt, that your truthfulness in attending to a query that we asked you, and getting an almost immediate response, just speaks a thousand words! Keep up your good work and you will go a long way! Thank you also to the Management and team of Doubletree Goa!

TTema GМы останавливались в отеле Stonewood в Вагаторе на выходные (суббота–воскресенье). Отель находится в тусовочном районе Гоа, где проходят вечеринки и мероприятия, и если вы хотите спокойно поспать ночью, это место не для вас. Музыка и басы с ближайших вечеринок ощущались прямо в номере, и спать было почти невозможно, даже с берушами или наушниками.
С другой стороны, сам отель очень приятный: номера чистые и уютные, есть бассейн, красивые виды на закат, а спуск к океану удобный. Завтраки скромные, выбор небольшой, но все свежее. На пляже рядом есть несколько бич-клубов, где можно недорого и вкусно поесть. Интересным элементом была высеченная на камне фигура лица Шивы на пляже.
Отель предоставляет такси по хорошей цене, и местоположение удобно для поездок на местные рынки. Персонал дружелюбный и отзывчивый. В целом нам пребывание понравилось, особенно виды, сервис и атмосфера дня, но учтите шумной ночной жизни, если планируете отдых с полноценным сном.

FFreebird_GraceOverall this was a very satisfying stay. A few major hiccups but less on account of the hotel or staff. Certain times of the year it does get too busy. During our stay it was found to be comfortable and satisfying. I think the staff here are very professional and dedicated to what they are doing. I would return for a stay here.
