Would highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again. Great location - only a 10 min walk into the heart of the city centre, also on the doorstep of beautiful walks along the river Ribble through Miller Park and Avenham Park."

"Great hotel that is very conveniently located to the M6. Room was good, slightly dated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good - very big spread and variety. Access to health club was a plus. Staff friendly and attentive."

"Stayed at the Barton Manor hotel and spa with my daughter….we had a wonderful time….from arriving to leaving the staff can’t do enough for you…the breakfast is really nice…we did not book into the restaurant for evening meal, but I was told by other guests…that the restaurant food was delicious.

"Room is a bit small, can only open one luggage in the room. So better just bring one luggage upstairs. The building is a little bit old but can see that they placed efforts in renovating it. Stylish renovation. Feel very cozy. Room and bathroom is clean in general. They clean every day. For breakfast they serve English breakfast, some one will come and you can order your food. Very nice experience."

Cc-hingVery good location, next to the junction of M6 and M65, a prefect midpoint of driving from South to North. The hotel is large and full of space. The room is clean and big, and necessities are all equipped. Shampoo and body bath are Doves, and teabag is Twinning, which is quite unexpected for a roadside hotel. Breakfast is nice. It is beyond our expectations at this cheap price.

I stayed at the hotel for 17 nights. My room was on the ground floor and was very comfortable, there is not one thing that I can complain about.
I got to know the staff, who were absolutely magnificent. They could have done nothing more to make me feel very welcome and at home.
From the reception, bar, dining room, kitchen and housekeeping staff, they made me feel like I came home every evening when I got back to the hotel. They went out of their way for me.
Thank you to Varun, Aniken, Jake, Vix and the rest of the staff.
I can’t recommend Garner Samlesbury Hotel enough!!!

VVieraskäyttäjäThe room and bathroom were clean, the mug and kettle, coffee-tea-sugar and milk were prepared in a tray, even the room had a fan and heater which I didn't use , because weather was good but it was really good I saw them in the closet, I asked for iron and hair dryer, reception was a super nice gentleman who explained to me everything I needed. I stayed for one night, but I recommend strongly, better than Airbnb, no Airbnb with same or higher price accepted my request because I just wanted a night and all of them said you should at least book for 3nights! The other reason is I had my own shower and toilet. there is no need to share it with others,and lock the door. The doors had electronic locks, though, really safe and close to different bus stations. Thank you!
