Yksi yö Heathrow'lla lennon jälkeen. Lähetin hotellille sähköpostia edellisenä iltana kysyäkseni mukavasta näköalasta, koska veljeni syntymäpäivälahja oli tulossa ja hän rakasti lentokoneiden katselua. Olin jo varannut huoneen kiitotielle päin, mutta jotkut huoneet ovat alemmissa kerroksissa, joten ne ovat rajoitetumpia. Hotelliin saapuessamme he olivat päivittäneet huoneemme sviittiin, mikä oli todella ihana ele, mutta olimme varanneet kahden hengen huoneen, ja sviitti oli kahden hengen. Pyysimme vuodesohvan pedaamista. Neljän vastaanottokäynnin ja viiden tunnin odotuksen jälkeen siivoojat pedasivat lopulta vuodesohvan. Tässä vaiheessa olimme erittäin väsyneitä, koska meillä oli ollut todella pitkä päivä, joten se hieman heikensi kokemustamme. Syntymäpäiväkakku ja viesti sviitissä olivat ihana lisä. Päivystyksen myötä saimme pääsyn Executive Loungeen, josta on upea näköala kiitotielle lentokoneiden katselua varten. Juomia oli saatavilla koko päivän, alkoholia illalla ja kanapeita. Toisin kuin kaikissa muissa Executive Loungeissa, joissa olen käynyt, kanapeet tarjoiltiin pöytään, mikä tuntui hieman oudolta ja teki myös palvelusta erittäin hidasta, koska lounge oli täynnä. Tarkoitti myös suurempaa hävikkiä, koska ihmiset eivät halunneet kaikkea valikoimasta. Tämän vierailun perusteella en varaisi huonetta, jolla olisi pääsy loungeen. Lentokentällä on paljon parempia hotelleja, joissa on paremmat lounget, jos etsit sitä. Sängyt olivat erittäin mukavat. Ihana kylpyhuone. Jälleen upea näköala kiitotielle. Ilmastointi ei laskenut alle 20 asteen, mikä oli hieman ärsyttävää, kun otetaan huomioon, kuinka lämmin Lontoossa on tällä hetkellä. Loistava valikoima aamiaisella. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Herkullista ruokaa. Yöpyisin täällä uudelleen, mutta en olisi huolissani pääsystä executive loungeen, koska se oli pettymys.

After I made booking via trip.com for 8 nights, I sent a request to hotel for two single beds instead of one king double bed in my room and also my room to be facing the river, not the back alley of the hotel. I did not receive any response/reply from the hotel until I arrived at the hotel for check-in. The staff at the check-in desk (Ms. Kalyani) told me that there is no room with two single beds available and the only rooms available are with one king size double bed + the room is facing back alley. She said the rooms facing river will cost more as they are premium rooms and if I want I will have to pay GBP35.00 more per night for 8 nights. She kept insisting that hotel staff replied to me via email/call or message that there is no room with two single beds available and facing river side. I told her several times that I have not received any message or call or email from anyone regarding this. She kept arguing and she was joined by more staff who also kept arguing. I told her that it is not acceptable that after I have made the full payment in advance, now you are telling me that you cannot give me a nice room. If I cancel at the day or check-in at hotel, I loose a significant amount of money. So, I am left with no choice but to accept whatever room is offered to me. After an hour of unreasonable arguments by the hotel staff (mainly Ms. Kalyani), I was shown a decent room facing river with a king size double bed. I specifically requested for two single beds but I was left with no choice but accept it because of the full payment in advance. This is something which trip.com and the hotel management must look into. Because if your hotel has made an agreement with trip.com to accept guests coming via trip.com, then it is the hotel's responsibility to make sure that guests requests are replied/responded on time. You cannot simply blame it on guests and ask them to check with trip.com. You are accepting bookings via several online booking agents including trip.com. It is your responsibility to check and confirm to guests any requests coming through online booking agents. Simply pushing it on guests and asking them to check with trip.com is not acceptable and this must change. In the end, Ms Kalyani (the staff at the check-in counter) stopped arguing and trying to prove her point that they are right. I have stayed in this hotel before for 4 nights and it was a good experience but this time it was not good. Although, Ms Kalyani tried to compensate me with a free breakfast voucher for two, for one day, it was not a good experience overall. The staff on the front desk in day shift and night shift are mostly very arrogant and ill mannered. They are probably paid low wages and no training provided to them to smile and be polite to guests. Mostly the flat face and rude replies with arrogance. I think the hotel management must look into replacing the Managers in day shift and night shift and also the should consider hiring people with good attitude and provide them proper training. This is not a good hotel to stay for long term, I will not recommend to anyone to stay in this hotel more than one day.

This is a good hotel if you're looking for a more economical stay with a good breakfast. We had a great check in experience where we had arrived early and had a short wait for an early check in. The staff were very good here helping us find a table each morning for breakfast, made an ice pack for my wife's sore foot and they have a fridge to store food items behind the front desk. The location was pretty good and it was a short walk to popular attractions like Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and Burough Market. There were a few restaurants nearby and we enjoyed grabbing quick bites at many of the nearby shops including Tesco, Sainsbury's and Amazon Fresh. There are lots of hotels in the area as well. The hotel is located about a 7 minute walk from Blackfriars station which offers Thameslink Service to Gatwick Airport and connects easily to the Elizabeth Line to go to Heathrow. It is within a 15 minute walk to Waterloo and Southwark stations and there are busses that go through the area too so it makes the city very accessible. It is worth checking out the train schedule because some trains go every 20-30 minutes instead of the frequency north of the Thames. The room was nicely appointed with a comfy bed, four pillows, a small work space, a small wardrobe, tea station, large television, and some shelving to store our things. We were transiting through London and had brought three large suitcases with us and there was plenty of space for those. The hotel is located in a quieter area and the air conditioning is very strong so we enjoyed each night's sleep. There were signs posted that they were undergoing some maintenance work during our stay in August 2025 so it was very noisy after 9:30 am in the hotel. This is a temporary issue. We felt that the housekeeping could improve because we were provided with dirty hand towels a couple of times and they did not vacuum the floor at the entrance of the room. The wifi was good and if you've set up an IHG account before you can quickly and easily log in but we found that we had to reconnect each night. The bathroom was pretty good with a nice new and clean shower. The shower was very good each night with an adjustable head, eco setting, good temperature control and tight seals to keep the water in. They have unique shampoo and body wash that are kale and parsley scented. There isn't much room to hang wet towels in the bathroom but they do have hooks in the bedroom that we used. The breakfast was good and we were happy it was included in our stay. They had all the fixings for an English breakfast with particularly good sausages and rashes of bacon. They also had yoghurt, fruit, cheese and some cereal for a lighter breakfast. The coffee machine was good for made to order options and there was a good selection of tea. You can make yourself a go bag as well and they will let you take food too. If you have dietary restrictions you can let the front desk know when you check in and they will accommodate. We had a good stay here and it fit our itinerary. Picking a hotel in London can be tricky but the price, location, and room were right for us.

Amazing location, amazing service. It was my birthday and the room was decorated beautifully with complimentary drink and chocolate. Could not have asked for more. The only negative was the room was extremely hot which made is very uncomfortable to sleep. On the second night spoke to front desk and they advised to turn all air con/heating off and brought us a fan up so the second night slept like a baby in very comfortable beds. The pool area was beautiful but u fortunately we ran out of time but when we have another stay at the beautiful hotel we will certainly visit it.

Lovely clean hotel with attentive staff. Our room wasn’t ready for when we checked in so the staff kindly gave us free drinks. Can’t complain will definitely go back!

Pros: - Decently sized, standard layout and comfortable rooms. - Rooms are quite clean, service in general was nothing too special but gets the job done! - Convenient location near buses and metro to Central London / Oxford for a day trip, close to Westfield London which has great number of F&B outlets, supermarkets and shops. Cons: - Housekeeping was inconsistent; stayed for 6 days, everyday was missing something different, not being replenished in the room; could be tea, coffee, hand towels, tissue paper, toilet paper etc… had to keep calling for service every night throughout the stay. If housekeeping had set up the room in standard, hassle could be alleviated from all parties as it takes the housekeeping more than 20 minutes every time to bring the items. - Both toilet paper rolls were removed unexpectedly one night, even when we certainly left the room with them both in the morning which I find a bit funny as there wasn’t even a need to replenish - but simply removed. - Clock timing was incorrect 6 days throughout the stay and nobody clocked that nor changed it. - Slight wear and tear in the room but nothing too major affecting our stay apart from the bathtub glass panel seam being broken and water kept coming out of the shower. - Emergency alarms went off at 730AM with no explanation. - There was daily construction noise and one day the workers and equipments were all outside our room for a good 4 hours in the morning to afternoon time. Again, I don’t blame it because maintenance is important but a notice would be nice. Overall, I think the hotel gets its job done, the room and location were decent and comfortable. It’s the housekeeping and maintenance fell below expectations.

Palvelut: Harvinainen ja kustannustehokas brittiläisen standardin mukainen kahden hengen huone. Vaikka sänky ei ole suuri, huone on melko tilava alueelleen nähden, mikä tekee siitä hintansa arvoisen! Aula on myös erittäin mukava! Kuvasin jopa videon! Sijainti: Hyvin lähellä King's Crossin asemaa, kätevä pääsy metroon ja junaan, mikä tekee siitä loistavan tukikohdan matkustamiseen.

I stayed at Cosmos Capsule Coworking London again, for the second time, and had a pleasant experience overall like I had during my first visit. This capsule hotel offers a unique blend of accommodation and coworking space at an affordable price. Located on Hanbury Street, just an 11-minute walk from Aldgate East station, its central location makes it accessible. Just outside the hotel, at 67 Hanbury Street, is Chaii Town, a charming Chai and Coffee shop that I highly recommend. They offer a great variety of Chai flavors and pastries. I tried their Ginger Chai and Chai Latte, both of which were delicious. Their exotic pastries, like Dubai Cookies and Matcha Cookies, pair perfectly with the aromatic Chai. The owner was wonderful, and the hospitality was exceptional. The capsules are well-designed and functional, featuring ambient lighting with customizable colors—blue, pink, green, yellow, or white. Each capsule also includes a TV screen and headphones, though I didn’t use them during my stay. The capsules are not soundproof, so a good night’s rest depends on the courtesy of fellow guests. Fortunately, everyone during my stay were considerate, and I slept well. Earbuds are provided in the capsule just in case. The shared spaces, including the showers and toilets, were very clean. The shared kitchen area includes essentials like a sink, microwave, kettle, tea, and cups. One standout feature is the massage chair in the common area, which offers a good massage after a long day. There’s no traditional reception desk; instead, check-in is automated via a WhatsApp message or email with an access code. This code grants entry to the building and a small box containing your key card. While the shared spaces were immaculate, the capsules could use a bit more attention. I noticed hairs from previous guests on the blanket. Overall, Cosmos Capsule Coworking London is a good option for budget-conscious travelers who need a comfortable place to stay and work.
