"Menen tähän hotelliin kävelylle Ben Nevis. Tämä hotelli ei ole kaukana, vain 15 minuutin ajomatkan päässä. Hotelli on puhdas ja kylpyhuone hyvän tarjonnan lämmintä vettä. Näytä ikkunasta on kaunis. Hinta, joka on 2 makuisia illallisia ja buffet aamiainen on hyvä asia. Lisäksi elävä bändi yöllä on myös miellyttävä. Suosittelen tätä hotellia kaikille."

"Ein wirklich schönes, altes Schlosshotel an einem tolles See gelegen. Die Dusche war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber alles war sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal war sehr nett und aufmerksam.  Perfekt für einen Zwischenstopp in den Highlands. Ohne Auto ist allerdings drumherum nicht viel zu erreichen. Das Hotelrestaurant ist deswegen immer sehr voll. Aber das Essen war lecker."

"The hotel is looking and feeling very tired and dated and in serious need of upgrading.  They’re charging 2025 prices for 1980 standard services.  They clearly cater for bus tours and large parties which are not there to appreciate where they are and their surroundings.  There was serious problem with running hot water in the room as well as in the showers in the spa.  I overheard many guests complaining about no hot water in their rooms at reception.   Breakfast was very disappointing, they offer a continental selection of one type of cold meat and one type of sliced cheese with pan loaf bread!  Fort William boasts artisan bakery’s so no excuse there.  During breakfast very loud 80s movie themed music is blaring, the dining room is so big there’s practically a speaker above every second table.  When asked to turn it down we were met with a standard reply, “I was just asked to turn it up”. Totally unbelievable.  Due to the large parties tables are not cleared fast enough nor cleaned, we had to clean and set our own table before we could eat and this is where we were directed to sit. Waiting staff are clearly not trained nor directed appropriately for a hotel boasting a high standard.  We were not encouraged to dine in the hotel at all. The exterior of the building is not only showing signs of disrepair but is also very dirty. They are missing the B in the main signage and is the first thing you see on arrival.   Positives:  the room was clean although all views from most rooms do not look out onto anything nice.  Temperature of the pool, steam room and jacuzzi excellent.  The lounge bar appeared to have the best atmosphere and felt like a highland hotel. Would I recommend this hotel? Definitely not!   Would I stay there again? Definitely not!"

"據説是一個很有歷史的酒店。就在湖邊，景色不錯。門口就是擺渡船，去對岸方便，車是12磅一次，人免費。自駕來還可以，如果去威廉堡小鎮就有點繞，擺渡到對岸近很多。周邊購物餐飲無。 酒店房間比較小，我們3人，一個雙人床，1個上下鋪，分2個小房間，衞生間也很小，走廊轉來轉去的像迷宮。 早餐8-10點，是點餐方式，我們選的含早餐，也要點。早餐出品還不錯，推薦三文魚炒蛋，蘇格蘭的三文魚好吃。"

"When I got to the hotel, I was asked to pay a little bit more than what was advised by trip.com, but every penny was worth it! Location is great, staff are very friendly and welcoming, the room was absolutely fantastic, and the full Scottish breakfast was generous and tasty. The only disappointment was I couldn't get a bath because the bathtub obturating plug didn't work properly. However, the overall experience was good. Thank you!"
