"Service was great - reception staff were very helpful.
We just had breakfast there and it was a significant buffet for 17 Euros.
Pool deck was great and pool very clean...only 1.1 metres deep though but fine to cool off.

Familia. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were polite and always ready to help, which made our stay smooth and enjoyable. The location is great, with easy access to transport and the main attractions. Everything worked perfectly, and we didn't face any issues at all. Overall, it was a relaxing experience, and we would definitely stay here again."

"Location is relatively far away from the main attractions of barcelona but you can take a taxi or the metro to reach them easilly. Great room with a hottub and double shower.
The room had a hottub and double shower which was great but the controls for the temperature were very sensitive so difficult to get it right, also whenever we had a shower all the water would go everywhere in the room because there is nothing to stop the shower water from reaching the bathroom or other areas of the room. There was only a small towel for the wiping our feet so water still went everywhere.
There was free instant coffee, tea and water in the room for us as well as bath robes and slippers.
Air conditioning worked well and the bed was very comfortable.
We only had breakfast once during our stay but the breakfast was very rich with good options for the price.
There is room service available but we didnt take anything."

"This was by far the best hostel I stayed at, and also the cheapest! It's a large operation, run with ruthless Catholic discipline. It's very clean, very ordered, very comfortable. Compared to other hostels as well it does not run a catchpenny operation - linen is free, breakfast is free, luggage storage is free, etc. All these things are used by other hostels to up to double the cost of your stay. The staff were very pleasant, and spoke English. One night there was a customer who was unruly - refused to turn their light off at about 3am - the staff came, remonstrated with him, and eventually (he wouldn't relent) told him to leave the hostel. In other hostels you would be left to suffer the tyranny of an ignorant customer. Booking is understandably very tight - book early and for your whole stay. After a disastrous previous hostel in Rome, this was a necessary restoration of my faith in travelling."

I really enjoyed this hotel. It truly feels like a solid 4-star property — very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The room was spacious, modern, and perfectly maintained, which made it a pleasure to come back to after exploring Barcelona.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the area is quiet with a train station nearby, so getting to the city center is easy.

"The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly.
My room was also very clean, but there were some important issues I noticed:
The room description mentioned that it had a minibar, but when I entered, there was none.
Even a simple complimentary water bottle, like in most other hotels, was not provided.
Also, there was no towel or bathroom slippers available in the room.
The second and most important issue:
I arrived from the airport feeling very hungry and asked the staff for dinner.
I specifically requested fish with some rice.
However, they brought me pork sausages instead.
As a Muslim, I do not eat pork, and I was very upset that they didn’t bring me the meal I had requested — fish and rice.
The worst part is that they still charged me for the dinner, even though I returned the food without eating it, and they did not offer me a replacement meal."

VVieraskäyttäjäGood location, walking distance to Passeig de Gracia, near bus lines to bring you to the tourist sites within Bcn. Room size, bed, amenities are all well maintained.. Customer service/front desk were helpful but some employees need some improvement. Always remember that their guests are mostly tourists, asking the same questions.. I felt frustrations sometimes when they answered to some of questions/inquiries.. Overall, I will stay again in this hotel and can recommend it too.. Should I lower my expectations next time??

AARC5555The hotel is very new and has nice rooms with a great view on the higher floors. Especially the balcony is nice. The rooms are spacious and bright, equipped with all necessities like a safe or a hairdryer. For special equipment like a kettle you need only ask at reception.
The check in was quick and convenient, rooms can be reached quickly by elevator. There is one restaurant and one Café, the breakfast buffet in the restaurant is rich and tasty.
Also the rooftop bar with an indoor and outdoor are including the small infinity pool is great, but I imagine it being crowded during high season.
The location of the hotel is decent yet not perfect. It is roughly a 5-10 min walk to the nearest Tram or Subway station (probably El Maresme Forum) and there is also a big shopping mall. The beach is a 20 min walk, alternatively you can use bus H16 only 5 min from the hotel to get to most beach areas along the coast. There are also some small shops and bars nearby, but not the best. Now the downside, the hotel seems to be next to a rundown living quarter with shady people hanging around.
To get from the hotel to the city by subway or tram, plan around 25-30 min.
The service was friendly and the room was cleaned very well every day. Only once it happened that at around 11:30 a hotel employee knocked our door angrily and said loudly „Checkout“, but we have booked for several more days. He apologized after I told him, obviously he got the wrong room, but still this communication error shouldn’t happen in a 4star hotel. Also one day we didn’t receive the free bottle of water even though we disposed of the previous empty one. Besides that, everything was good.
All in all I would recommend this hotel for its nice views over the city, the new and clean rooms and the competitive prices. The city as well as the beach require 15-30 minutes travel time on public transportation, so a Hola Barcelona card is recommended.

VVieraskäyttäjäWe had rather a long wait to check in and were not acknowledged by the staff on reception who were dealing with two other guests checking in. There were five staff behind the reception desk but it took a good five minutes maybe longer before anyone attended to us!! This did not feel like the best start but our check in was then done quickly and efficiently but not what I would call a warm welcome.
Our room was on the sixth floor and was nice and clean. The beds are really comfortable and apart from the half the tv channels everything worked fine. I was surprised there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room considering this is a four star hotel.
The pool area was also a little disappointing.

The location is very convenient, we can go to famous spots within 30 mins, the services are quite good, the space theme is quite special and unique, only weak point is the air-condition seems not working very efficiently and the windows are not being able to open if we would like some fresh air. Others are all great:)

Summary:
We had a short break in Barcelona this week and were looking for a clean, well-located room, and that’s exactly what we got. The Park Hotel was a pleasant surprise and definitely shouldn’t be judged by its facade—we were truly impressed.
Room:
Our room on the sixth floor was spacious for a city hotel and had all the amenities you’d expect. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the pillows were firm and supportive—none of those mushy, overly soft ones you often find in hotels. The bathroom was well-equipped, though it might be a bit tight for larger guests.
Cleanliness:
The room was cleaned regularly, and any requests we had were promptly addressed. The pool area was also well-maintained, and the shower room available on our departure day was spotless, making our stay even more comfortable.
Service:
The service was reasonable overall. The staff managed multiple tasks at once, and although they sometimes appeared a bit stressed, they were always prompt, polite, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
Location:
The location is perfect for exploring Barcelona. It’s within easy walking distance of Barceloneta, Port Vell, and the El Born district. Plus, the hotel is directly opposite the train station, which made our day trip to Sitges incredibly convenient.
Facilities:
The hotel’s rooftop pool is a nice feature, with about 14 chairs available for sunbathing. The area gets busy in the mid-afternoon, especially when the summer sun is at its peak. The pool itself is a perfect size for a quick cool-down after exploring the city.
Food and Drink:
We had breakfast included with our booking, which offered all the basics you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. It was a good way to start the day and provided enough variety to fuel up before heading out.
Value for Money:
The Park Hotel offered excellent value for money, given its location, comfort, and amenities.
Tips/Recommendations:
This hotel is ideal if you enjoy a trendy food and cocktail scene combined with the bustling beach atmosphere. It’s a great base for exploring the best of what Barcelona has to offer.
We would definitely return to the Park Hotel on our next visit to Barcelona.

MMellie CWe so thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sensation Sagrada Familia. The location was superb - metro, supermarkets, and places of interest were all within walking distance. The view of Sagrada Familia from our apartment was jaw-dropping. The fully-equipped kitchen allowed us to enjoy a home-cooked Christmas meal. Looking forward to staying here again!

Despite this proximity, the area maintains a pleasant atmosphere, free from excessive airport noise.

Hygiene is paramount here. Guests consistently note the outstanding cleanliness throughout the property. From the well-maintained lobby and spotless, modern guest rooms with crisp linens to the gleaming bathrooms and immaculate public areas, the commitment to sanitation is evident. Housekeeping maintains rigorous standards, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment that exceeds expectations.
**Walkable Access to the Highlight:**
One of the hotel's standout features is its accessibility to the city's main attraction. You can effortlessly reach the vibrant city center/historic district/main sights (specify the ”vertex” if possible, e.g., ”the iconic Old Town square” or ”the main shopping district”) on foot. It's a pleasant and manageable 20 to 30-minute stroll, allowing you to soak in the local ambiance without relying on transport. This walkability puts the heart of the destination right at your doorstep, perfect for spontaneous exploration.

VVieraskäyttäjäI had a beautiful stay. I had been staying and loving the SLS Hotel in Miami and therefore wanted to try this new one in Barcelona. It looks very luxurious and the room I had was very spacious and just beautiful and well thought over all. The only thing that wasn’t super ideal for someone who loves walking a lot is the location. It was great, next to the beach and also really great amenities however getting to the city one would always have to take an Uber since it’s quite far away from it. At some point I started riding the bicycle and that was great as well but it just needs to be considered. Also you should not sleep with the doors to the balcony opened. They do warn about it at the hotel and for a reason. There are truly a lot of mosquitoes and just after one night leaving the door opened I was completely covered with mosquito bites. Also if possible ask for rooms farther away from the pool as that is where most of the mosquitoes will be. I got moved to a new room so the service is amazing.
