My wife and me stayed there for 5 nights in Oct/Nov 2025. The location is good and away from the hustle and bustle of tourist activities. It’s in a quiet location and you can do your hikes up to 凤林禅寺, one of the rare few operating monastery with quietness and serenity in the area. The staff there are friendly, welcoming and professional. Room was cleaned thoroughly and the snacks in the room replenished daily. Their vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner is simply awesome. I look forward to it everyday. The chef 赵师傅 is a master in creating delicious vegetarian meals. The other staff worth mentioning are 茵茵,阿文,宝珠and小王. The only thing they can improve on is to consider installing a self-service laundry room with a dryer. Will return if I’m visiting 五台山again.

【五台山住宿首選】花築·堆翠閣民宿 📍位置：景區內，離南山寺、龍泉寺很近，到五爺廟車程10分鐘左右，鬧中取靜。 🏨環境：中式禪意設計，庭院有綠植和小景，夜晚燈光温馨，拍照很出片。房間乾淨整潔，地暖、智能衞浴、零壓床墊都在線，舒適度拉滿。 👩💼服務：老闆和員工超熱情，主動幫忙規劃祈福路線，還提供接送服務，細節很貼心。 🍜餐飲：早餐味道不錯，小米粥和小菜都很合胃口。 整體體驗遠超預期，是五台山之行的意外之喜，強烈推薦給想住得舒服又有氛圍感的朋友！

We had an amazing stay here! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us with making plans for our hike up on the terraces, arranged transportation, and were a pleasure to have tea with. Thanks again for the lovely time!

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The room itself is amazing. Clean, neat and they provides so many amenities. The location is great, just next to bus station. The market is just 10 minutes away by foot. The only thing that dissapoint me is the breakfast. The menu is quite boring and no western option like bread, white coffee (latte, capuccino) and pastries. Other than that was good.

Tämä on ensimmäinen kerta, kun käymme Wutaishan ja jäimme tänne 5 yöksi. Olemme tulleet suoraan bussilla Pekingistä ja hotelli otti meidät bussireittistä Wutaishan. Hotellikuljettaja oli apukas ja ystävällinen. Meitä tervehtivät 2 miellyttävää etuosasto naiset sisäänkäynnissä. Meille annettiin helmiä rannekkeen lahja ja tervetuloa hedelmälevy . Ensimmäisenä päivänä meillä oli ongelma ilmastointiyksikön kanssa huoneessamme ja he muuttivat huoneemme seuraavana päivänä. Hotelli sijaitsee aivan liikekuulun kadulla, jossa on paljon ravintoloita ja kauppoja. On myös kuljetus bussipistooli vain nurkan ympärillä. On monia kuuluisia temppeleitä täällä kaikki kävelymatkan päässä hotellista. Hotellissa on ravintola ja ruoka on herkullista ja meillä oli ruokaa tarjoiltu huoneessamme. Naisen pomo (jota emme tavanneet) antoi meille tietoa matkasuunnittelusta ja auttoi meitä varaamaan maamatkan viidestä vuoresta. Lopuksi haluamme kiittää 2 esitoimistohenkilöstöä, 2 puhdistushenkilöstöä ja kuljettajaa heidän innokkaasta asenteestaan ja palvelustaan. Meillä oli täällä koko ajan hauskaa.

My room was spotless—so clean and fresh, and completely non-smoking, which was a huge plus. I loved relaxing in the bathtub while taking in the view. Breakfast was a solid win with varieties of options, both international and Chinese. My favorite part was the freshly squeezed juice —such a nice touch! The Chinese restaurant downstairs was also great, especially the spicy chicken dish. If you like bold flavors, it's a must-try. The hotel offers four mineral hot bath pools, which looked super clean. They do come at an extra charge, but they seem worth it if you're looking to unwind. Speaking of relaxation, the spa was amazing! The lady massager was incredibly kind, helping me with my lower back pain after a long week of traveling. She even shared a tip—walking backward to ease the pain! The only downside was that during the spring season, there’s no air conditioning. If the room gets a bit warm, you’ll need to open the window for cooler air. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place!

Located near to Taiyuan town bus station. Can walk to the hotel from bus station, or if u tired of walking, can take the public bus from 普化寺 stop to 友谊路口 stop. (FOC, all public bus in Taiyuan Town does not need to pay bus fare). Only one bus stop to the hotel. Very good location. Walking distance to the centre of Taiyuan Town temples. Cos, public buses sometimes are packed, Can choose walking if not tired. Traffic jam in the morning too. Outside hotel is shopping street of the town. Hotel are near to 3 vegetarian restaurants. Can buy flowers baskets and fruits baskets from the shopping street flower n fruits stores if u wanna offering to Buddha. Flowers baskets are huge, price from RMB80. Fruits baskets RMB100. If buy from store outside temples, price might be more than shopping street price. The hotel boss and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Always distributing bottles drinks to us when we leaving hotel. Helped us book van to wutaishan mountain 5 terraces. And helped us book car for our one day trip out of the central, to the temples which are not so accessible by public buses (清凉寺，金阁寺, 竹林寺 and etc). Car booking half day trip is RMB300, full day RMB500. Recommended to book car, less walking up slope, driver can park car straight to temples car park. Thumb up for the hotel services! Thank you! Ot's a small boutique hotel . The room was large and new looking. It had a small living room with comfortable chairs. The bathroom is average size with good hot shower. The location is very good with easy access to restaurants and grocery shops. Be aware that everything concerned with food is just that little bit more expensive than other cities in China. But I guess the cost of hauling everything up to wu tai shan is costly. The hotel is also close to the central bus station. The manger Tong Tian Tian was most helpful. She came to pick us up from the bus station, helped us to book a day tour of the 5 mountain temples. ( which had to be cancelled halfway due to a snowstorm on the mountain tops, where the main temples were. She then helped us to get our partial redunds. And then helped us to book bus tickets for onward travel to Datong. She was really helpful. On our first day she dropped us off at a temple nearly 20 mins away. So top marks for her customer service The hotel is a little short on the normal facilities like gym , small room fridge in the room, a restaurant ( so no breakfast ) We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel

Nice place I stayed for 4 nights to explore Wutaishan beginning of February. Location: 100m from Jinjie temple (have to walk uphill a bit, it is the same pathway that brings to Daluoding temple), 300m from Dailuoding bus station. No restaurant inside, the closest place to eat is Dico’s at 300m (I have never been there as I prefer a local food), restaurants for both breakfast, lunch and dinner are 1km away. The room is small but ok for one person. The window face an indoor place (the entrance of the hotel and the stairs). The girl at the reception is very friendly and helpful.
