Pysäköintimahdollisuuden tarjoavat hotellit kohteessa Rio de Janeiro

Huoneen parvekkeelta on kaunis näköala, yksinkertainen sisustus, runsas aamiainen ja se on myös turvallinen alue, mutta hotellin vastaanotossa myydään lippuja ja jalkapallolippuja, jotka ovat kalliimpia kuin niiden ostaminen itse. Erityisesti peliliput: ostin ne 120 RMB:llä, mutta he ostivat ne yli 800 RMB:llä, ja siihen sisältyi myös nouto.

Pettynyt. Olin käynyt hotellissa kerran aiemmin, mutta tällä kertaa se oli todella pettymys. Kauhea palvelu uima-altaalla, erittäin huolimaton henkilökunta, hidas palvelu. Vastaanotossa toinen häpeä, erittäin valmistautumaton, töykeä ja ylimielinen. Oli yksi tapaus, jossa hotelli ei edes pyytänyt anteeksi vierailtamme, ja se oli aika noloa. Se ei ole hintansa arvoinen, eikä se heijasta Fasano-brändiä julkisivussaan. Fasano Groupille ehdotan puuttumista Rio-hotellin toimintaan, sillä se voisi tahrata sen vahvan ylellisyyden, hyvän palvelun ja asiakkaan kunnioittamisen brändin.

This property has the potential to be amazing, but it needs a few key updates. The location is fabulous, the staff is excellent, and the restaurant is great both in terms of service and food quality. The room was spacious, and the balcony was unbeatable. If you only speak English, you can get by staying here because all of the staff speak excellent English. We encountered a problem when the showerhead broke off, but the repairman came reasonably quickly to replace it, and he was very polite and not disruptive. We ordered room service, and Dom Rio, the hotel’s restaurant, delivered it quickly. I had the filet which was cooked properly to the correct temperature (medium rare). My fiancé had the alfredo pasta which she liked a lot. The breakfast had a huge selection, and everything tasted good. The only thing keeping this hotel from earning top marks is the general state of much of the decor in the rooms. The curtains look shabby and dirty from moisture, and the wood of the cabinets is warped also. It is very hard to maintain a room that is constantly exposed to salt water and ocean breeze, but the materials chosen have not stood up to age. I would recommend staying here if you are interested in staying in Barra at a nice but reasonably priced hotel, but don’t expect the finest luxury. Expect a very large, fairly clean room with a comfortable bed and an amazing view.

Really lovely hotel in a nice part of Rio. Staff are really friendly and helpful, especially as I speak English and everyone else is speaking Portuguese. The room was lovely and clean and the cleaners came here everyday to freshen up the room, put fresh towels in the bathroom and change the sheets. The pool was lovely and very quiet which made the experience much better. I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel very much but the one day that I did, there was a good variety of food. Can’t fault this hotel, very pleasant and would definitely stay here again.

Ilman toimitusjohtajia Temborarlia ja Juliaa olisin antanut kaikki ykköset, mutta syntymäpäiväni kolmen viimeisen tunnin aikana he onnistuivat pelastamaan päivän. Lensin Brasiliaan yksin juhlimaan 40-vuotispäivääni ja valitsin yhden kalleimmista hotelleista – JW Marriottin – ajatellen, että se olisi loistava hotelli. Mutta ei. Maksoin valtavan summan rahaa, mutta en saanut mitään palvelua tai mukavuuksia. Saavuin klo 22 (eli koko päivä oli jo hukkaan heitetty; minulla ei ollut edes huonetta) ja minulla oli vain yksi yö ja yksi päivä elinaikaa. Syntymäpäiväni! Menen vastaanottoon ja kerron heille, että olen tullut juhlimaan syntymäpäivääni. Olen Marriottin jäsen ja olen jo käyttänyt yli 5 000 dollaria hotelleihinne vuoden ensimmäisen kuukauden aikana (näytän vastaanottovirkailijalle ja selitän, että syntymäpäiväni on kahden tunnin kuluttua), mutta (!) he laittoivat minut huoneeseen kolmanteen kerrokseen, jossa en voi avata verhoja (!), koska ohi kävelee jatkuvasti ihmisiä käyttämään hissiä!! Jopa keskellä yötä! He pitävät meteliä ja paukuttavat. Turhautuneena palaan vastaanottotiskille ja pyydän apua tässä tilanteessa. Sillä välin näen, että huone on likainen! Jopa lakanat ovat likaiset!! Epämiellyttävä mies sanoo: ”Teillä on king size -huone. En voi tehdä asialle mitään. No, voin löytää teille ylemmän kerroksen.” (Oliko liikaa liioiteltua antaa se hänelle? Se on ylemmässä kerroksessa, eikä huone ole käytävällä, jossa ei voi edes avata verhoja. Miksi minun pitäisi juosta ympäriinsä pyytämässä!!!??? Kysyin jo kerran: ”Huomaa, tänään on syntymäpäiväni. Syntymäpäivä, jolloin ihmiset antavat lahjoja ja yllätyksiä ja onnittelevat sinua!!!” Mutta ilmeisesti hän on hyvin käsittämätön ihminen. (Jota en toivo kenenkään onnittelevan syntymäpäivänään tänä vuonna.) Sitten hän tarjoaa minulle: ”Jos haluat, voit MAKSAA LISÄÄ ja muuttaa toiseen huoneeseen, josta on erilainen näköala!”!!!!! Sanon: ”EN HALUA” ja lähden. (Toivotan tälle miehelle myös matkaa toiselle mantereelle, toiselle pallonpuoliskolle, yksin, jossa hän maksaa kaiken, kaiken itse!) Syntymäpäiväni on aamulla, nukun kamalasti, äänieristystä ei ole, melu alkaa klo 6 aamulla.... ja iltaan asti, klo 19 en saanut kakkupalaa, korttia tai mitään. (Vaikka sitten muutin Fairmont-hotelliin, jossa tarjoilijat niin... lauloin sydämellisesti Hyvää syntymäpäivää syntymäpäiväsankarille aamiaisella!!! Joten älkää koskaan valitko Marriottia syntymäpäiväksenne!!! He kohtelevat teitä todella huonosti!!) Matkustan aina syntymäpäivänäni; olen juhlinut sitä yli 20 kertaa eri puolilla maailmaa ja eri hotelleissa, ja tämä on ensimmäinen kerta, kun olen kohdannut tarpeen pyytää jotain ja muistuttaa ihmisiä, että on syntymäpäiväni!!! Aivan syntymäpäiväni lopussa, kello 19, menen vastaanottoon ja pyydän puhua toimitusjohtajan kanssa, jotta voin kertoa hänelle kaiken, mitä ajattelen JW Marriottista. Ja sitten Timberly päivittää minut yläkerran huoneeseen merinäköalalla yhdeksi yöksi. Mistä olen erittäin kiitollinen. Ja mistä annan hänelle korkeat pisteet arvostelussa. Ja se kaveri, joka ei tehnyt sitä Päivitys, jotta ihminen herää onnellisena syntymäpäivänään ja jatkaa rahan käyttämistä Marriott Bonvoyssa eikä herää uupuneena kello 6, koska kuulostaa siltä kuin joku peseytyisi kylpyammeessaan (koska tuo huone 3. kerroksessa oli uskomattoman äänekäs, ei äänieristystä!!!!) Toivon, että hän saa potkut!!!

Foi minha primeira hospedagem em hotel, fui muito bem tratada do início ao fim. As instalações super novas e atemporais. Muito lindo os jardins, tudo muito bem cuidado. A comida impecável, os funcionários te fazem se sentir em casa. Super recomendo.

My first room had the worst stains on the chair and sofa. No way should this room been allowed for check in. I booked a queen bed apartment and was moved to a. Double bed room with a view as trade. I was tired and could not be bothered to argue. There was an apology by the checkin staff. The breakfast is average (I came from Salvador where breakfast was amazing). Housekeeping and services were good - all the ladies were nice and pleasant. The bed had one pillow and the sheets had holes. There was no spare blanket in the room and the duvet provided was not the best so it got cold on a few nights and was too hot on others. Shower facilities were good but no skin lotion in the room which was fine as I had my own. No free water in the room only the minibar too - had to go to ibis hotel next door at like 2am to buy stuff there …both hotels are linked Generally the stay was mediocre and the area does not have anything to do. It is ok and central for Uber which was a bonus. Would I stay there again - hardly likely Would I challenge that I am owed money as the room I paid for is not what I was given - may do …if I have the energy Hopefully Novotel would reach out to me before that happens Images below

The hotel has a nice location on the beach, but the property could do with some updates. The first room I went into had a funny smell, so I reported it to reception. The male receptionist looked at me, and as if he doubted my word After I insisted, he assigned me a new room, but it was left to me to move my luggage. . No support was offered and I couldn’t be bothered to ask. I did ask if there would be any complimentary water put in the room. He said he would get housekeeping to put some water, but I’m still waiting two days later.  Power outlets in the room are limited and not designed for modern travel. No USB points. The TV is old and not smart or Internet connected. There are no cable channels so nearly all of the channels are local language apart from one CNN news channel in English.. The hotel is quite noisy and dogs. The walls are thin and guests scrape furniture across the marble floors. This is relatively easy to remedy if the hotel cared. The rooftop pool was disappointing as it’s quite small and normally full of kids. The restaurant is closed after breakfast. There is a bar, but it’s never open.. The biggest problem I had was the Internet. It did not work properly in my room and kept cutting out every few minutes. I had to stand in the corridor or come down to the lobby in order to get any decent coverage. I complained to the staff, but they did nothing and just told me it works.. This was extremely frustrating and I certainly wouldn’t come back to this hotel again.

I’d describe this hotel as utilitarian. No decor or warmth at all. The common areas are spacious and quite bare.Table and chairs at the restaurant are plain brown wood, The lobby is sparsely furnished with some worn , drab and very uncomfortable seats. Bathrooms are the same. Just the very bare essentials, not even a box of tissue paper ( and thin toilet paper) We travelled long hours,  arrived at 22:00 looking forward to a good shower …not to be. We were up for a bad start. There  was just a trickle of water not enough to bathe or properly brush teeth either. That could have been a whole area problem as we were told that water pressure can sometimes drop in some areas of the city. We changed rooms , water pressure  wasn’t much better the next day either, the water flow improved just a little and remained as such the whole week. We had paid for 5 nights and ended up staying as the city was packed that week . To go looking for another hotel during the G20 summit which Rio was hosting that week of November 2024 would not be an easy task.  On the positive side, staff was pleasant and accommodating, bed was comfortable and from our perspective, the breakfast buffet was the best feature of this hotel offering abundant variety of  food to meet all tastes- cereal, fruits and cheeses, cold cuts, several hot savory breakfast  dishes - incl. some Brazilian regional dishes as well, a huge selection of breads, cakes, good coffee, and more. Very satisfying. Including breakfast in the booking is highly recommended.  The good fare offered at the hotel at lunch and dinner not good at all. However, there are also three of four restaurants lined up on a small stretch within 5 min walking distance of the hotel- one of them is a very good authentic European Portuguese cuisine and wine. Aprox. US$ 52 for a meal for two. On the same cluster of shops there is a well established Brazilian cuisine restaurant with a good menu where one can eat well for anything  between US$ 12  to US$ 15 and a steak house similar to the Australian Outback steak house.  There are also other eateries snd convenience shops, a pharmacy on the same stretch ( 5 min walk ffrom the hotel) including a 24 hr laundromat where one can expect to wash and dry a load for about US$ 7.  As for location, this hotel is not close to the most well known districts of Rio - places like Copacabana, Ipanema , Leblon - but Barra da Tijuca is a special area in itself and arguably has the best beach in town. The hotel is just a 10 - 15 min taxi ride to Barra Shopping-  the largest and best shopping mall in the whole state of Rio de Janeiro where one can find anything,  including restaurants (recommend trying Jappa all you can eat Japanese food spread for US$ 26 as in Nov 2024). On the whole , when compared with the fashionable and pricey districts of Copacabana , Ipanema Leblon  this hotel is good value for money . I’d stay there again if they fixed the shower situation b’cause this feature matters for me.

El hotel es excelente. Muy buena ubicación, limpio y confortable. El servicio en el front desk es insuperable, todo el personal muy amable, en especial Humberto que nos ayudó en todo momento con recomendaciones y reservas.  El desayuno en bueno.  Muy recomendado
