"This hotel is advertised as a place for "rest and rejuvenation" but when we were there they had rented the space out to a 150+ person event with a DJ until 1:30am. It was absolutely crazy. The layout of the hotel means that all our rooms were close to the recreation area where the party was taking place. We were given no warning before or after booking. Many other guests were complaining, like me, at 1am at reception when we were all supposed to be enjoying a quiet and restful night at a spa hotel. There is only one reason to book an event that would so obviously create such disruptive noise at what is advertised as a place for peace and quiet: greed. This hotel chooses profit over its guests comfort, and is willing to ruin their holidays so that they can take advantage of the huge pay from a big party. Disgraceful."

"La Costa Resort is one of the few family hotels in the Costa Brava. It has a large pool where my kids enjoyed playing many hours every day, however, the pool area needs a lot of work. There are many loose stones which causes many cuts and scrapes on my kids feet, knees and toes. I have written some pros and cons Pros: - Stayed in Junior Suite with Pool view. Good size, basic and clean room. The bathrooms can use an upgrade. They are very dated but functioned well. - Friendly cleaning staff and most reception staff - beautiful nature and grounds - Golf facilities were excellent, however not enough shaded bays on the driving range and only of them had the elevated golf mat with tee - ping pong table, tennis and paddle facilities - Cons: AC was not working well. I had to had an engineer come twice, however, the hotel staff were prompt to respond. Having to pay for sun beds at the beach despite staying at the hotel no daily water bottles in the room no kettle or coffee machine in the room expensive food at the hotel restaurants bikes were too expensive to rent and minimum rental is 4 hours, please offer shorter rental."

"The apartment is located in Platja de Pals, near the town called Pals in the Costa Brava, in Girona Province, in the North of Catalonia. The rate quality/price is very good. Full apartment for 5 persons, which was big with 2 rooms, 1 eating-room, a little kitchen and a bathroom. The apparent has all we needed. Beds were very comfortable. A place very nice with very beautiful views at the back. Also, there is a good bar next to the aparthotel. On the other hand, the toilet lost water and the staff could not repair it."
