The only downside is that the pipes may have been clogged and the water in the shower room was drained out at the right time, resulting in high humidity throughout the room. Instead, there is an ondol (floor heating system) near the bathroom, which is difficult to find in Europe."

Breakfast is simple but tasty, and both the rooms and common areas are clean. By Italian standards, it’s a very decent hotel at a reasonable price. I wouldn’t recommend it to someone looking for a quiet, intimate place, as the area can be quite noisy."

We had booked half board as it came as part of the package but only ate in the hotel the first night as wanted to try different places but this was a mistake as the meal in the hotel was by far the nicest meal we had. Will definitely be back to this hotel anytime we visit Palermo."

After waiting for nearly an hour, the hotel staff informed us that there were no rooms available and they needed to transfer us to a 3-star hotel next door: B&B palermo quattro conti. I got the list of triple rooms from the front desk of this three-star hotel, which cost 86 euros, lower than the hotel I was staying at. I kept in sync with Ctrip's customer service throughout the entire process, including the situation of the new room. The current solution offered by the platform is to refund the price difference, because it was an agent room and there was a communication barrier between the agent and the hotel."

"This hotel desperately needs a renovation; it's incredibly worn out, and everything feels like it's past its prime. The room I got didn't match the photos at all; the window looked out onto some kind of dilapidated internal shaft. The furniture was old, and while the linens were clean, they had holes. The breakfast area was in terrible condition, as were the chairs and tables. There weren't enough seats for breakfast, so we often had to wait. The tables weren't cleared, so I had to clean them myself. I definitely don't recommend the breakfast; the selection was very poor. It's much better to eat at nearby cafes. Fresh orange juice is sold for 1 euro everywhere else, but at the hotel, they serve some kind of diluted, awful-tasting drink. I will not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone. The ratings are definitely inflated, and I made a mistake believing them."
