"I was a little worried about staying alone in a dormitory room, but once I closed the curtains, it was private and I was able to stay comfortably. It was clean, and I was personally happy that there was a freezer in addition to the microwave and refrigerator! One thing that bothered me was that I had heard that the cafe space in front of the front desk was open to guests only in the evening, so I planned to relax and read manga in my pajamas. However, I was bothered by the fact that two men who were not guests suddenly showed up at that time and continued to talk to the young woman at the front desk without ordering anything. What's more, the woman was closing the front desk while talking to her friend on speakerphone (at full volume), which made it very difficult to relax. They seemed like high school students working part-time and still getting used to the place, so I don't think it was the inn's policy, but it didn't have the atmosphere of a local izakaya or a guesthouse where you'd normally socialize, which was disappointing. I guess it's because it's an island that things are more relaxed, but I thought I'd write this review in the hope that they'd improve if I were to stay again."

"A hotel with a Showa-era feel. The facilities were quite old and the air conditioner vent was full of dust, so I had no choice but to turn it off. My room was on the fifth floor, so I could see the ocean from the window, but the window was too dirty. Other than that, the staff were kind and the food was delicious. The New Year's breakfast was very luxurious. There was only one man at the front desk who made me feel like, "Huh? Who is this guy?" (This was also written by another person in a review.) The hot spring is very salty."

"It is located in the center of the harbor in a location that is not remote, so you can spend your time with peace of mind without inconvenience. The interior and scenery are really nice. Especially the bath while watching the sunset and morning scenery is the best! Amenity and daily necessities are perfect and you can spend your time comfortably. There is a good thing that cannot be conveyed in the photo, so please actually enjoy it locally!"

"Firstly, Izu Oshima doesn't have many tourist attractions overall. Most of the people I saw were middle-aged and elderly people hiking. Even on weekdays during the Camellia Festival, there weren't many tourists. I personally think the high cost of the steamboat ticket (9200 yen one way) is one reason. Secondly, the hotel is located in Motomachi Port, which recently stops at Okada Port. It takes another half hour by bus to get there. The hotel is quite old. The receptionist was an elderly gentleman, probably almost 90, but he was clear-headed and spoke basic English without any problems. The hot spring bath was rather small, and the breakfast was traditional Japanese. I probably won't go back to this destination again. Public transportation on the island is also quite expensive; a one-way trip to the volcano costs over 1000 yen, and a one-day pass seems to be 2050 yen. I went to Oshima Park, which is free, which is a good thing. It includes the Camellia Garden and the zoo, but the camellias weren't as abundant as I expected; the ones in the greenhouse were better."

"Fantastic comfortable stay with a family-run business! I stayed at Hotel Kailani during a recent trip to Izu Oshima Island (a ferry ride from Tokyo). The hotel is located on the hills of Habu Port, with waterfront views and 2 minutes walk from one of the best lookout spots on the island. The hotel was clean, quiet, spacious, with plenty of amenities and facilities, and a great breakfast cooked daily by mother and daughter. The staff are very friendly and you can really feel the care and attention that has been given to the hotel. I believe this is one of the best hotels on the island, and I highly recommend it to all travellers!"

"The first floor is wide 々. The second floor had a hideaway space and the children were happy. The road from the round road to the place is 々 uneven, and it is better to slow down the car. Also, be careful as the location on Google Map is a little off. Finally, I think it can't be helped because of the location in the forest, but there were a few insects. It may be better to make a reservation with the hit."
