Excellent stay and service

The resort is 5 star property and is well maintained. Location and food is excellent

Property is old rooms flooring needs to be refurbished. Overall well maintained

Bathrooms are unhygienic. Needs massive upgradation.

Ed and mattress not comfortable breakfast ok l staff friendly behavior, can fair ok parking lot …, etc

Excellent Resort, away from the city rush. The rooms and Bathrooms are clean, Jaya ji at the reception was always helpful. Overall we had a 3 night pleasant stay, with a beautiful view.

Nice place to stay for a vacation. Very good ambience. Staffs are very friendly.

We have great experience with stay , location is good and the view is mesmerising and we got better service from Nungmei she was friendly and she can speak Hindi comfortably. All around we had good experience all ***** food was good. The location quite unique and lot of in house activities in the resort.

Let me provide some positives and some areas of improvements. Room was good inside but the allocation of it was wrong to start with . Room that was promised by some agent referred by Sterling itself was not right with the information provided n hence was given a room that was not so pleasant at all n stinking. Further after lot of requests especially, having gone with family I was allotted a different room the second day. So, the service at reception and the official agent who book rooms, need sure improvement. The positives now..location is very good and the facilities inside are awesome. Good food though a bit pricey for the buffet. Spa is good and Discovery center was very good with indoor games, especially the staff there named Navya was very welcoming and explained it so well, so she needs a special mention. The room service and the room support help Abisha and Abhi were very helpful. Overall looking back, except for the wrong room promise and the allocation, it was a very pleasant stay

Kids had nice time dancing and painting with Navya - excellent time for kids - must visit place and it was great. Family place - nice - even in time of bad weather , the resort had nice activities to occupy and entertain kids - will definitely visit next time and highly recommend for families

She was also super respectful, asked the right questions before starting, and gave off calm, focused energy the whole time. I’ve had massages before, but this one was something else — more than just relaxing, it felt healing. Like she didn’t just work on my muscles, she gave my nervous system a break too.

Nightmare in Sterling ! 1. Privileged suit was given to us. As it was raining ,water started entering in the bedroom through the floor tiles. Started calling the reception and helpdesk from 6pm and finally 10 pm one person came who doesn’t understand any other language barring tamil. No solution. 2. Next day morning after requesting umpteen times, rooms got changed in a basic room. 3. Mineral bottle of 5 litres bisleri provided. Surprisingly the nest day the bottle seal was broken. So we understood they simply refilling the bottles and keeping in the rooms instead of new fresh unsealed bottles. 4. Housekeeping is a mess. After housekeeping the rooms and washrooms remain dirty. 5. Supposedly play area for kids in the activity room has never been cleaned. Staffs themselves walking over the baby mats with shoes. 3/4 persons sitting and chatting in the activity room but no sign of cleaning it. 6. Overpriced food with horrible taste and hygiene. All four of us came back with a stomach bug. 7. The high chair provided in the restaurant is so freaking dirty. Never ever cleaned after use.

Although we initially faced some delays during the check-in process, the situation was quickly rectified by the exceptionally professional and courteous staff. In particular, Mr. Richard and Mr. Nabeel went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout the stay. Their dedication to guest service was truly commendable and significantly enhanced our overall experience. We appreciate their efforts and extend our gratitude to the entire team at Sterling Ooty for a pleasant and memorable stay.
