"Wonderful place to stay and dine. After our late arrival the staff was friendly and very cooperative. We could park our bikes in the Courtyard. First a drink on the terrace to catch the last rays of sunshine. We stayed some 5 years ago and were pleasantly surprised with the renovation of the rooms, building and grounds. All to great standards. The new restaurant and library-restaurant have a top English atmosphere. The food was nice and really above average, however can still be improved to the standard that they promise and want to reach. For now the restaurant price level is too high. The newly decorated room and bed, linen and pillows are top notch.! Tip: a small fridge and Nespresso machine would make it 100% We will surely return. PS Next. We bought the Buckled boots on internet😉"

"Oleskelu yhden yön ajan tutkiessaan Dartmoor ja se tekee hyvä pysähdys tiellä. Huone oli suuri ja mukava, mutta voi saada hieman kylmä, jos se on kylmä päivä. Mutta kaikki henkilökunta ovat kauniita ja ystävällisiä ja ruoka on erinomainen!"

"Olin yöpymässä Blue Lion kävellessään Kaksi linnaa. Se voittaa sydämeni. Ensinnäkin pubi on nyt myös kaksinkertaistumassa kuin kyläkauppa päivällä, se todella pelaa sen osa yhteisössä. Tämä tarkoittaa, että se on myös mukava paikka ostaa tarvikkeita, olipa jäädä sinne tai kulkea. Saapuin tunnin varhain, onnellinen istumaan ulkona, tarvittaessa. Kuitenkin huolimatta kaikesta muusta, joka oli käynyt tuolloin, minut osoitettiin huoneeseeni ja pystyi sijoittamaan, jonka arvostaa minua. Huoneeni oli erinomainen. Erityisen mukava vuode. Nieto ja valo. Rummellinen kylpyhuone. Erittäin puhdas. Olin hieman huolissani tien edessä, koska luulin, että se olisi meluisaa - mutta se ei ollut, en ollut häiritsenyt liikenne. Söin pubissa iltaisin. Minut oli melko peruutettu erikoislautakunta, se ei ollut odotettavissa hinta useimmille pubeille, joilla on useita vähemmän tavallisia kohteita. Barin ilmapiiri oli hyvä, ihmiset tulivat kylästä, yleinen ystävällisyys, varma tunne kaikki tehdä tuntea tervetulleeksi. Minulla oli myös aamulla aamiainen (ei sisällytetty) - itsepalvelu perusaamiainen, joka oli todella hyvin mukava. Sitten, kuten järjestetty, voin vain päästää itseni ulos ja mennä. Pieni 'Alas' : ** Aamiainen Hamper ** Saapuessa vaaditaan täyttää valita eri kohteita ( ks. kuva ) Hamper . Tämä luettelo, yhdessä mitä saapui (katso kuva) oli varmasti EI mitä odotin, nähty kuvia verkossa, kun varata se etukäteen. Arvaa kaikki 'odottaminen' - erittäin pettymys - laajentaa sitä hieman palvella 'duplicate teepussi' ( useita identtisiä jo huoneessa 😊 plus toinen muffin ja teepotti . Myös tuore maito oli palvellut 😊. Suosittele, että aamiaiset ajatella --------- Jäisin taas, mutta otan oman piknik aamiaisen 😊"

"We are fortunate enough to live within walking distance of this hotel, restaurant and pub. We have just returned from yet another meal and, as always, the staff, the food, the drink and the welcome was superb. The cheese souffle draws us back repeatedly! The village is lovely, with plenty of walking from the hotel including up to Dartmoor itself or simply sit in the lovely garden with a drink."
