"We were met by Darren & Karen who were both very welcoming helping us in and explaining the cottage facilities and the surrounding area, they made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived The room was immaculate, the bed was super comfy, bathroom had a lovely powerful shower with all shampoo and shower gel supplied We placed our order for breakfast when we arrived and we got to pick our preferred time The breakfast did not disappoint, it was cooked to perfection with all Scottish ingredients and a vast selection to choose from Would definitely return one of the best places we have stayed so far"

"Tämä on hyvin pieni botiikka hotelli, ei näyttänyt vaikuttava edessä sisäänkäynnin ulkopuolella hotelli. Hetken menimme sisään, se on todella viihtyisä & meitä tervehtii hyvin lämmitys talonjohtaja & varattu illallinen pöytä myös. Meillä on hyvä laatu aamiaista ja illallista."

"Room No 4 is a good room with a fair view of the sea. However despite leaving a "Please make up the room" sign in the morning, the room was not serviced. So no breakfast (which is only a porridge in a pot!), nor clean towels etc. Very disappointing! We advised a lady, mother of the owner, about a broken window lock and the very slow shower drain. The broken window lock was repaired, but nothing else. We think that £178 per night for 2 nights was excessive bearing in mind the lack of service."

Palace Hotel - Small Hotel

"Went with 11 family members, Rooms were quite good however night time staff we’re rude, fridges in the rooms yet were told we can’t bring any food or liquids into hotel atall I understand the food part but too not even be able too bring in liquids is ridiculous, we were told if we didn’t leave the premises with the food and liquids wee would be getting thrown out, also £200 was taken out of my Nana’s account and everytime we asked staff why this was we were told the manager was unavailable then on our final day as we were leaving we asked for a third time and were told we would get it back once they had inspected the rooms, overall a nice little hotel just a shame about the staff."

"Jan and Daz are superb hosts, friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect. We stayed two nights, really comfortable and excellent breakfast. There is plenty to do in the area and Jan and Daz point you in the right direction. An excellent find and we look forward to returning"
