"We had one of the Sea View rooms and it was clean and spacious with a lovely view. With no breakfast available onsite, it would have been more convenient to be closer to more breakfast options. The walk into town is pleasant and there are some walking trails nearby that I enjoyed. This was more like staying at an AirBNB than I expected. No signs of our hosts the whole time we were there."

Palace Hotel - Small Hotel

"This is anything but a palace as it’s very very dated and in need of a deep clean although the bed was clean. The best about the hotel is it’s situated on the Main Street facing the harbour. I feel the owners are very happy robbing customers of their cash. I paid £138 for 1 night as I was desperate. There was no breakfast included, no parking, no WiFi and no lifts even though there is 5 floors. I would definitely never go back to this hotel desperate or not ."

"I can't tell you about my stay as I booked the wrong dates. As soon as I found out, I phoned The Oyster Inn to cancel but because I used Trip.com, they said there was nothing they could do. I cancelled on Trip.com and the message said that they'd contacted the hotel to confirm if it was ok to cancel FOC. According to trip.com, no response was forthcoming so my booking was not cancelled. My booking has since been "completed". When I contacted the hotel the following day to ask why they had not approved the cancellation, they said trip.com had simply asked for info, not to approve cancellation. Who is lying? Suffice to say, I will not use trip.com again and have decided to stay elsewhere in Oban."

"Tämä oli suosikki hostelli olen oleskelenut tähän asti! Yksinäisenä naisena tunsin kaupungin ja hostelliympäristö oli uskomattoman turvallinen. Koko tilat olivat hyvin ylläpidetty ja puhdas! Pidän siitä, miten makuuhuoneissa oli sukellus ja peili erotettu sukellus peiliin vessassa sekä suihku oli erotettu. Se piti kylpyhuoneen tilanteet paksu. Sänkyt olivat mukavia ja puhtaita!! Varmista, että tuot oman lukon lukitukset, koska ne eivät sisälly. Työ/sulkeminen huoneet olivat mukavia ja hiljaisia. WiFi oli hyvin spotty. Kaukosäätimenä se aiheutti minulle ongelmia, joten ota selvää, jos olet digitaalinen nomad! Jäisin taas."
